시설오이로 많이 재배되고 있는 4 품종을 선발하여 생육단계별로 DPPH radical 소거활성, 아질산염 소거활성, ABTS 소거활성 그리고 항산화효소 활성에 대하여 비교 분석하였다. 장죽청장 품종이 모든 생육단계에서 DPPH radical 소거활성이 상대적으로 높게 나타났으며, 그 외 품종들 간에는 큰 차이를 보이지는 않았다. 또한 생육단계별로는 수확기에 못 미친 미성숙단계에서 DPPH radical 소거 활성이 높게 나타났다. 아질산염 소거활성은 pH가 1.2일 경우 모든 품종과 생육단계에서 40% 이상분해시켰으며, 특히 장형낙합과 신조은백다다기 품종이 상대적으로 높은 활성을 보였다. 또한 pH 4.0에서는 추출물 모두에서 30% 이상의 아질산염 소거활성을 나타냈으며, pH 6.0에서는 대부분 활성이 없었다. ABTS 소거활성은 장죽청장과 늘푸른청장 품종이 다른 품종보다 상대적으로 다소 높은 소거능을 나타냈고, 생육단계별로는 대부분의 품종에서 ABTS 소거능에 큰차이를 보이지는 않았다. SOD 활성은 모든 품종과 전 생육단계에서 95% 이상의 높은 활성을 보였으며, 품종 간에 거의 유의한차이를 나타내지 않았다. CAT 활성은 전체적으로 장죽청장과늘푸른청장 품종이 그리고 APX 활성은 늘푸른청장, 장형낙합품종에서상대적으로 높은 활성을 나타냈고, POX 활성은 생육단계별로 뚜렷한 경향을 보여 수확기에 이를수록 활성이 현저히 감소하는 결과를 나타냈다. 본 실험의 결과, 오이의 높은 항산화능을 확인함으로서 향후 향장소재 및 식품소재로서의 이용가치성을 증대시킬 수 있음을 시사한다. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of antioxidant enzyme activity and radical scavengingactivities of cucumber grown greenhouse. The analytic method of antioxidant activities were measured by estimating DPPHfree radical scavenging, nitrite scavenging ability activity and ABTS radical scavenging ability. The DPPH free radicalscavenging activity of Jangjukcheongjang was the highest in most of the growth stage. The Nitrite scavenging ability at pH1.2 was more than 40% in all cultivars and growth stages. The ABTS radical scavenging ability of Jangjukcheongjang andNulpureuncheongjang showed relatively little higher than Janghyeongnakhap and Sinjoeunbaekdadagi. The SOD activityshowed higher activity than 95% in all cultivars and growth stages. The activity of CAT was highest in the Nulpureuncheongjangof 2 (12~16cm) growth stage, and the APX activity of Nulpureuncheongjang and Janghyeongnakhap showed arelatively high activity. The POX activity showed distinctly different trends depending on the growth stage, and that is, theactivity at harvest stage was significantly reduced. These results suggest that the cucumber had the potent biologicalactivities, and that in the future, the availability of cucumber will be increase in the field of high-value cosmetic and foodproducts.
우리나라 미나리(Oenanthe javanica DC)의 系統分類에 關한 硏究

This paper was an attempt to collect the water dropworts of 80 strains throughout the country and to classify them by quantitative character for the strain classification of them in this country. 1. The genetic variation of quantitative character between strains was widest in plant height, runner lenght, and leaf length. They could be classified into 13 strain groups by Mahalanobis's D²classification. In the strain number of each classified group, the 6th group was greatest in number(11strains), and the 2nd, 10th, 13th group were least (2strains). 2. According to their main characters the classified strain groups by genetic distance could be divided into tall, medium and small strains in plant height, and into early, medium, and late strains in days to flowering. 3. The most influential main characters in classifying strain group were plant height, runner length, and leaf length, and the least influential characters were stem node and top leaflet index.

Immature ovule of intergeneric F_1 hybrid between Platycodon grandiflorum x Codonopsis lanceolata for producing embryogenic callus, somatic embryos and plant regeneration were cultured in vitro on various medium as well as MT(Murashige and Tucker)medium treated with different concentration of plant growth regulators. Embryogenic callus induction was highest in the treatment of NAA 0.5㎎/ℓ and zeatin 0.01㎎/ℓ added on MT medium, whereas it was lower in treatment with auxins alone. MT medium were more effective in production of somatic embryos from incubated embryogenic callus. Most favorable plant growth regulator for producing somatic embryos was 2,4-D 0.5㎎/ℓ and zeatin, BAP 0.01㎎/ℓ, but hormone-free and auxins alone were less effective. NAA 0.01㎎/ℓ added with zeatin 0.5㎎/ℓ was effective as high as NAA 0.01㎎/ℓ alone in normal plant regeneration from somatic embryo. Most favorable organic compounds for producing normal plant regeneration was malt extract 300, 500㎎/ℓ or yeast extract 500㎎/ℓ added on MT medium containing NAA 0.01㎎/ℓ and zeatin 0.5㎎/ℓ.
