        치과위생사의 전문직업성에 영향을 미치는 직업기초능력요소

        본 연구는 치과위생사의 전문직업성에 영향을 미치는 직업기초능력요소를 추출하고자 2013년 12월부터 2014년 2월 까지 대학병원, 치과병(의)원, 보건(지)소에 각각 근무하는 치과위생사 230명 중 207명을 대상으로 시행하였다. 일반적 사항 에 따른 직업기초능력 및 전문직업성은 one-way ANOVA 및 t-test를 이용하여 p<0.05 수준에서 유의성을 검증하였으며, 치과 위생사 전문직업성에 영향을 미치는 기초직업능력 구성요소는 단계적 중다회귀분석을 실시하여 표준화 회귀계수(β)로 나타 냈다. 연구 결과 자기개발능력, 조직이해능력과 수리능력에 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 위해 자기개발능력은 토의법, 조직이해능력은 팀티칭을 통해 교수-학습 방법을 진행하고, 인턴쉽과 현장실습을 보다 체계적이고 계획적으로 운영해야 할 것이다. 더불어 신입생을 대상으로 치과위생사의 전문직업성에 영향을 미치는 직업기초능력 요소를 분명히 주지시키고, 장기 적인 안목으로 학생 개인과 학과, 대학차원의 노력과 프로그램 개발이 선행되어져야 할 것으로 사료된다. The purpose of this study was to examine the constituents of vocational competency affecting the professionalism of dental hygienists. The subjects in this study were 230 dental hygienists who worked in university hospitals, dental hospitals, dental clinics and public dental clinics. A survey was conducted from December, 2013, to February, 2014. To assess their vocational competency and professionalism by general characteristics, one-way ANOVA and t-test were utilized, and the level of significance was set at p<0.05. To determine what elements of vocational competency affected their professionalism, multiple regression analysis was made, and standardized regression coefficients were calculated to represent the influence of the elements. As a result, it's found that the professionalism of the dental hygienists were under the influence of their self-development skills, organizational understanding and mathematical ability. To foster self-development skills, discussion method should be utilized, and team teaching should be used to improve organizational understanding. Besides, internship and on-the-job training should be managed in a more systematic way.

        치위생 현장임상교육에서 임상실습지도자의 교수효율성

        Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the teaching effectiveness of preceptor on clinical dental hygiene education to suggest what qualifications the instructors should have in order to bolster the educational effectiveness of clinical education. Methods: The subjects in this study were dental hygiene students who were engaged in clinical education from October to December 2008. A survey was conducted to find out the personal qualifications and teaching abilities of preceptor and their performance as role models in order to assess the teaching effectiveness of clinical education. Results: As for evaluation of the teaching effectiveness of preceptor, the students investigated gave the highest marks to their role models(3.52±0.70), and teaching ability(3.07±0.64) and personality(3.05±0.78). Concerning the subfactors of teaching ability, they put the highest value on their leadership, and had a similar opinion on their ability of creating instructional environments and encouragement-support. They gave the lowest marks to their ability of organizing what to teach and evaluation ability. As to links between the demographic characteristics of the students and the teaching effectiveness of the preceptorship, they took a significantly different view of their personality according to geographic region and the length of practice, and there were also significant intergroup gaps between their outlook on the instructors as role models according to the length of practice(p<0.05). Conclusions: To ensure the effectiveness of clinical education, there should a sufficient discussion between professors and preceptor who are responsible for clinical education to develop a sequential and well-structured clinical education curriculum and evaluation protocol. Besides, the introduction of a preceptorship should be taken into account in order to improve the quality of clinical practice.

        치위생(학)과 학생의 치과위생사 양성 교육과정에 관한 인식

        본 연구는 치위생(학)과 학생들의 치과위생사 양성 교육과정 요소에 관한 인식을 조사하기 위해 2009년 4월 부터 6월까지 치위생(학)과에 재학 중인 학생 934명을 대상으로 진행되었으며, PASW Statistics 18.0 프로그램을 이용 하여 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 교육목표, 교육내용 선정, 평가에 있어 중부권이 가장 높게 수도권이 가장 낮게 나 타났으며, 전문학사 학위과정이 학사학위 과정보다 높게 나타났다. 교육내용 조직은 중부권이 가장 높게 호남권이 가 장 낮게 나타났으며, 학사학위 과정이 전문학사 학위과정보다 약간 높게 나타났다. 요소별로 살펴보면, 교육목표 요소 는 직업교육, 도덕적 윤리적 요소에서 높게, 창의적 측면에서 낮게 나타났다. 교육내용선정 요소는 학습가능성에서 높 게 내용의 타당성과 관련성에서 낮게 나타났다. 교육내용조직 요소는 계속성, 계열성, 통합성 순으로 나타났으며, 교 육평가 요소는 학교평가 준거에서 높게, 국가시험 방법에서 가장 낮게 나타났다. The purpose of this study was to examine the awareness of dental hygiene students on the components of the dental hygiene curriculum. The subjects in this study were 934 dental hygiene students, on whom a survey was conducted in April and Jun, 2009. The collected data were analyzed by the statistical package PASW 18.0. The findings of the study were as follows: The students from the midsection of the nation put the highest value on educational objectives, selection of what to teach and evaluation, and the students from the metropolitan area set the lowest value on those components. The students who took junior college courses took a better view of those components than those who took college courses. In terms of the organization of what to teach, the students from the midsection of the nation rated it highest, and the students from the Honam area rated it lowest. And those who took college courses took a little better view of it than the students who took junior college courses. Among the components of the curriculum, the educational objective factor was rated higher in terms of vocational education, morality and ethics, and that was rated lower in terms of creativity. The selection of what to teach was rated higher in terms of learning possibility and was rated lower in terms of content validity and relevance. The organization of what to teach was rated highest in terms of continuity, followed by sequence and integration. The educational evaluation factor was rated higher in the area of school evaluation and was rated lowest in the area of national examinations.

        치과위생사 전문직업성에 영향을 미치는 교육과정 구성요소

        The purpose of this study was to examine the curriculum components affecting the professionalism of dental hygienists and to explore what improvements should be done for each of the influential curriculum components to boost the belief and attitude of dental hygienists. The subjects in this study were 934 dental hygiene students, 76 dental hygiene professors, and 285 dental hygienists, on whom a survey was conducted in person, by mail and by e-mail from April 10 to June 12, 2009. The collected data from 1,295 respondents were analyzed. First, overall dental hygiene professionalism was predicted by intellectual development, vocational education, socio-culturalization, ethics and creativity, which were educational objectives of curriculum, and that didn`t have a close relationship to interpersonal understanding and self-actualization. Second, overall dental hygienist professionalism was predicted by learning interest, learning possibility and the significance of subjects, which were selection criteria of teaching content, and that wasn`t closely linked to the validity of subjects and social significance. Third, overall dental hygienist professionalism was predicted by continuity and integrity, which were organizing principles of teaching content, and that didn`t have a strong relationship to sequence. Fourth, overall dental hygienist professionalism was predicted by the content of school evaluation and school evaluation criteria, which were evaluation elements of curriculum, and that wasn`t closely linked to the method of school evaluation, the content of the national exam, the criteria of the national exam and the method of the national exam.

      • 간호학생의 전문직 자아개념과 자아탄력성 및 임상수행능력에 관한 연구

        Purpose. The purpose of this study is to investigate how professional self-concept and ego-resilience of nursing students affect their clinical competence. Methods. This study conducted a structured-questionnaire survey with 143 nursing students to look into their professional self-concept, ego-resilience and clinical competence. Results. According to the study result, professional self-concept scored 2.85 on average out of 4 points, ego-resilience 3.61 on average, and clinical competence 3.48 on average. It was found that clinical competence had significantly positive correlations with professional self-concept (r=.58, p<.01) and ego-resilience (r=.44, p<.01). According to regression analysis, the factors affecting clinical competence were professional self-concept, ego-resilience, and academic grades in order, and explanatory power was 39.5%. Conclusions. Given the above results, in order to improve clinical competence of nursing students, nursing educational institutes need to find an educational plan which can contribute to increasing professional self-concept, ego-resilience, and academic grades.

        어머니의 식행동과 아동의 치아우식경험도와의 관련성

        This study aims to provide basic information for conducting reducing children`s dental caries, and proper eating habits and ineffective oral health education activities by survey of children`s oral examination and their mothers based on 9 elementary school at a local area in Gyeonggi Province from May, 4 until July, 20 2009, and the results were as follows: 1. The children`s DMF rate by gender was higher in men than women, the children`s dental caries by grades was higher in higher grades than lower grades, so there were statistically significant differences between children`s dental caries experiences in gender and grades(p<0.05). 2. Mother`s socio-economic characteristics, mother`s detergent food intake frequency, the mother`s protective food intake frequency and the snack consumption etc. had not great effects on the children`s dental caries(p>0.05). In the dental caries experience in children according to the maternal eating behavior, there were the significant differences(p<0.05) between the degree of unbalanced diet in mother and dental caries experience df index in children. Proper eating behavior of balanced diet in mother must take precedence for children`s oral health, and required for their children to have interests about proper eating habits and oral health.

        수도권지역 성인에서 구취와 치주상태의 관련성

        Objectives. Oral malodor originates from VSC from amino acid metabolism by bacteria. Many patients with periodontitis have oral malodor and we therefore tested the relationship between oral malodor and periodontal status. Methods. A total of 138 adults were investigated using the O`Leary index, Loe & Silness index, formation of periodontal pocket depth, amount of loss for interproximal bone and missing tooth. And measuring the malodor by use of Oral Chroma volatile sulfur compounds. Data were analyzed with a t-test, one-way of variance and multiple regression using SPSS 12.0. Results. A higher O`Leary plaque index produced higher levels of dimethyl sulfide (p<0.01). Gingivitis, also tended to increase the concentration of hydrogen sulfide (p=0.095). Deeper periodontal pocket depth (<4 mm, 4~5 mm, ≥6 mm), also increased the concentration of hydrogen sulfide (p<0.05). Methyl mercaptan levels also tended to increase hydrogen sulfide levels (p=0.188). Higher interproximal bone loss (<50 mm, 50-80 mm, ≥80 mm) increase levels of methyl mercaptan (p=0.05), which was also higher in the missing tooth group than the non-missing tooth group (p<0.01). For total VSC concentration, a higher loss of interproximal bone increased the risk of halitosis (p<0.05). Conclusions. Blocking VSC generation in the periodontal pocket by periodontal therapy could vicious circle of periodontal disease and oral malodor.

        임상실습 시 병원형태별 치과위생사와 실습학생이 경험하게 되는 스트레스 요인에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 임상실습 시 병원형태별로 치과위생사와 실습학생의 경험하게 되는 스트레스 요인을 분석하여, 치과위생사의 직무만족도를 높이고 효율적인 임상실습을 계획하고 운영하는 데 기초자료로 활용하고 또한 실습학생이 전문적인 치과위생사로서 성장 발전하는 데 기초자료로 활용하고자 실시하였다. 서울 및 경기 지역에 소재한 치과대학병원, 종합병원치과, 치과병원, 치과의원의 치과위생사를 대상으로 2012년 3월 5일부터 6월 29일까지 설문조사 하였고, 경기도 경복대학 치위생과에 재학 중이고 치과대학병원, 종합병원치과, 치과병원, 치과의원에서 임상실습을 마친 학생으로 2011년 6월 13일부터 6월 17일까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 수집된 자료는 SPSS 프로그램을 이용하여 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 치과위생사의 임상실습 만족도는 대체적으로 만족하는 것으로 나타났으며, 실습학생의 임상실습 만족도는 치과대학병원을 제외한 병원에서는 불만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 2. 병원형태별 연구대상자가 느끼는 스트레스유형의 평균차이를 분석한 결과, 치과위생사는 역할 및 활동 영역에서 가자 높은 스트레스를 느끼는 것으로 나타났으며, 실습학생의 경우 환경요인 영역에서 가장 높은 스트레스를 느끼는 것으로 나타났다. 3. 스트레스 영역간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 치과위생사의 경우 모든 영역 간에는 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 실습학생의 경우 진료분야를 제외한 영역에서 스트레스 영역 간에 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 4. 스트레스 요인이 만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 치과위생사의 경우 역할 및 활동, 이상과 가치, 진료분야의 스트레스 영역은 만족도에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났고, 실습학생의 경우 대인관계, 이상과 가치의 스트레스 유형은 임상실습 만족도에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. This study investigates the stressors of dental hygienists and student hygienists during the bedside training by the medical center type. The survey is based on some dental hygienists who are working for dental college hospitals, general hospitals, dental hospitals and dental clinics in Seoul and Gyeonggi area which the Clinical Practice of dental hygienics students is under way in. Included are the students who are studying dental hygienics at Kyungbok University and have taken the bedside training in dental college hospitals, general hospitals, dental hospitals and dental clinics. A statistical analysis shows the following results using SPSS program. By medical center type, dental hygienists described the clinical practice of students as relatively satisfying. It also found that there is a positive correlation between stress zones, and they feel most stressed in the Role and Activity zone. Student hygienists felt relatively satisfied with the bedside training, and there is a positive correlation between stress zones except Practice. It found students, who have taken the bedside training in all types of medical centers except dental clinics, felt most stressed in Environment. It also found that students who have taken the bedside training in dental clinics felt most stressed in Role and Activity. In conclusion, most of the dental hygienists are satisfied with students` clinical practice by pattern of hospital. Positive correlation was shown between stress factors. Behavior and attitude and ideal and value are high in stress in college dental hospitals, role and activity and treatment fields are high in stress in dental hospital, and interpersonal relationships are high in stress in dental clinics.
