1932년 4월 29일 상하이(上海) 훙커우(紅口) 공원에서 개최된 일본 천왕의 생일인 천장절(天長節)과 일본군의 상해점령 전승 기념 축하식을 겸한 식장에 윤봉길 의사가 폭탄을 던져 전 세계를 경악과 찬사의 도가니로 몰아넣었다. 윤봉길의 상하이 의거는 단순히 일본군 장성들을 처단했다는 것 뿐 아니라 당시 한국 독립운동의 새로운 국면을 열어 주었고, 또 그것을 새로운 차원으로 고양시켰다는 데 그 의의가 있다. 침체의 늪에 빠져있던 대한민국임시정부를 부활시키고 활성화 시켰으니 큰 민족적 기여이며 역사적인 의거가 아닐 수 없는 것이다. 또한 한중합작을 마련할 수 있게 기층을 형성해 주었고 이후 1945년까지 친선과 지원의 형태가 계속되었다. 윤봉길의 의거는 일본 상하이 파견군 총사령부의 사령관 이하 수뇌부를 전멸시킴으로써 군사적으로나 정치적으로 모두 일본제국주의자들에게 큰 타격을 주었다. 중국군 30만명의 치열한 저항도 물리치고 상하이를 점령한 일본군의 총사령관 이하 수뇌부를 한국 청년 한사람이 전멸시켰으니 일제는 이루 말할 수 없이 큰 타격을 받았다. 또한 윤봉길의 의거는 한국민족운동의 새로운 전기를 마련해 주었다. 의거 이후의 항일독립투쟁은 비밀결사적인 투쟁이 지닌 의의를 계승함과 동시에 그것이 지닌 한계를 극복하여 본격적인 무장투쟁을 전개하는 계기를 마련하였다. 그리고 후일의 한국광복군 성립으로 이어지는 군관양성에 주력하여 한국독립운동은 다시 무력항쟁의 실마리를 풀기에 이르렀다. 나라를 빼앗긴 이후 우리 민족이 광복에 대한 자신감과 용기가 저하되고 있을 때, 일제 식민지 통치하에서 신음하고 있던 한국민족의 독립정신을 다시 한 번 일깨워 주고, 국내외 한국민족의 독립운동에 새로운 활기를 불어넣어 주었던 것이다. 윤봉길의 의거는 국제도시 상하이를 무력침략한 일본군의 동태를 전 세계가 주시하는 가운데 일본침략군 총사령관 이하 수뇌부를 처단한 것이기 때문에 전 세계를 더욱 크게 놀라게 했고, 한국민족의 독립운동이 매우 치열하게 전개되고 있음을 효과적으로 알리는데 성공했다. 한국민족 독립운동의 용감성과 지속성을 널리 알리고 인식시키는 데에 윤봉길의 상하이 의거가 이룩한 성과는 참으로 큰 것이었다. On April 29, 1932, the Korean freedom fighter Yun Bong-Gil threw bombs at a ceremony held in Hongkew Park, Shanghai, on the occasion of the Japanese emperor's birthday as well as the celebration of the Japanese military's victorious occupation of Shanghai, sending an enormous shock across the world, both in admiration and in astonishment. Yun's heroic Shanghai attack on the Japanese invaders carried significance not just in punishing the Japanese military generals, but also in writing a new chapter of Korea's independence movement at the time, encouraging the struggle to expand to a yet higher dimension. The explosion revived and reactivated the drooping spirit of the then-provisional government of Korea -- a truly monumental contribution to the Korean people and its history. The bombing strike by the independence fighter Yun Bong-Gil practically wiped out all the Japanese military leaders at Shanghai including their Commander-in-Chief, giving a tremendous impact on the Japanese imperialists, both militarily and politically. The explosion delivered an immensely damaging blow to the Japanese imperialist invaders as it turned out that a young Korean fighter almost singlehandedly destroyed the entire Japanese military commanding generals, not to mention the Commander-in-Chief at Shanghai, whose triumphant troops had occupied Shanghai after breaking down the fierce resistance of some 300,000 Chinese soldiers. Yun Bong-Gil's epoch-making feat also paved the way to a new territory in the history of the Korean people's movement. Since his successful bomb attack, Korea's independence struggle against the Japanese imperial government had succeeded the cause of secret, fraternal fighting, developed further, beyond its limit, and provided a momentum for a full-fledged armed campaign against the Japanese military forces. Moreover, the Korean leaders turned their attention to fostering and training young military officers, who, later, helped to organize the Korea Independence Army; thus, the Korean independence movement began to play a crucial role once again in the armed struggle to recover the nation's sovereignty. The patriot Yun Bong-Gil's bold attack, that destroyed the Japanese Commander-In-Chief along with other top military leaders, was taking place at the international city of Shanghai, which had been under the watchful eyes of the world for further movement of the Japanese invaders; hence, maximizing the surprising effect across the nations, and clearly informing the world over that the Korean people had been fiercely engaged in a struggle for their freedom and the nation's independence.

The purpose of this study was to examine the core competency and career commitment of the preceptors to identify utility of the preceptorship as career management program. Method: The subjects were 107 clinical nurses who were working in one university hospital composed of the head nurses(n=27), non-preceptors(n=28), new graduate nurses(n=26) and preceptors(n=26). Demographic characteristics, core competency and career commitment were measured. The core competency was evaluated by the head nurses, non-preceptors, new graduate nurses, and preceptor themselves. And the career commitment was compared between the preceptors and non-preceptors. For data analyses, percentage, mean, t-test, ANOVA were adopted with the use of SPSS WIN 10.0. Result: The results of this study showed that the core competency of the preceptors was evaluated excellently by all subjects. In three domains, there were no significant difference in role model, socialization facillitator and educator except for learning experience planning between the head nurses, non-preceptors, new graduate nurses and preceptors. The career commitment was significant difference between the preceptors and non-preceptors. Conclusions: The finding above indicated that the preceptorship utilized the improvement of the core competency and career commitment of the preceptors as career management program. therefore, continually, the effort and interest for development of the preceptorship can be a remarkable contribution for nurses' career management in nursing organization.
