서울 소재 대학도서관 운영성과의 결정요인에 관한 실증연구 - 대출성과를 중심으로 -

본 연구에서는 선행연구에 대한 분석을 통하여 우리나라 대학도서관의 운영성과를 결정짓는 주요 변수들을 파악하고, 각 변수들이 운영성과에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 검증함으로써 대학도서관의 경쟁력 실태와 장기적인 고객만족도 제고를 위한 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 구체적으로 본 연구에서는 도서관 서비스 활동에 대한 성과측정치 가운데 하나로 볼 수 있는 도서관 대출성과와 특성요인들(면적, 직원수, 장서수, 예산) 간의 관계를 분석하고 있다. 2004년부터 2007년까지 한국도서관협회에서 발간하고 있는 한국도서관연감에 포함된 통계 자료에 기초하여 이러한 관계를 종합적으로 분석한 결과, 대학도서관이 보유하고 있는 장서수와 도서관의 예산 규모 및 도서관 고유의 공간 면적 등과 같은 요소가 대출성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다(가설 1, 3 및 4 입증). 이와 같은 실증연구 결과는 대학도서관의 환경적 요소를 구성하는 도서관 면적이나 장서의 구입 및 개발 활동을 적극적으로 수행함으로써 대학당국을 만족시키고, 그러한 활동에 대한 투자(예산 지원)를 통하여 지속적인 도서관 활동(도서대출) 성과의 향상을 도모할 수 있을 것이다. This research provides an empirical analysis of the academic libraries' operating performance in Seoul, Korea. This study aims to find the key variables and the impacts of each variables on the operating performance of the academic library to attain competitiveness and long-term conditions for enhancing customer satisfaction. Specifically, this research focuses on the library's circulation service performance. The author try to analyze the relationship between the characteristics of the library (space, number of employees, number of books, budget) and the circulation performance. Korea Libraries Association have published yearly-book on the Korean library's circumstances and statistics. Yearly-book contains the data about the spaces, number of books, number of workers, the library's budget scales and other unique elements. This study finds that the circulation performance of books is positively related with the size of physical space, number of books holdings, and budgets (hypothesis 1, 3 and 4 accepted). This study demonstrate that the characteristic elements of academic library can be influential factor of the library performance.

ISSR 표지자를 이용한 느릅나무 자연집단의 유전변이 분석

Population genetic structure and diversity of Ulmus davidiana var. japonica in South Korea were studied using ISSR markers. A total of 45 polymorphic ISSR amplicons were cropped from 7 ISSR primers and 171 individuals of 7 populations. The average of effective alleles and the proportion of polymorphic loci were 1.5 and 89% respectively. The Shannon`s diversity index (I) was 0.435 and the expected heterozygosity from the frequentist`s method (He) and the Bayesian inference (hs) were 0.289 and 0.323 respectively. From AMOVA, 4.2% of total genetic variation in the elm populations was explained with the difference among populations (Φ ST=0.042) and the other 95.8% was distributed within populations. The θII value by Bayesian method which was comparable to the FST was 0.043. So the level of genetic diversity in the elm populations was similar to that in Genus Ulmus and the level of genetic differentiation was lower than that of others. No population showed a significant difference in the population-specific fixation indices (average of PS-FIS=0.822) or the population-specific genetic differentiations (average of PS-FST=0.101). Seven populations were allocated into 3 groups in the UPGMA and the PCA, but the grouping patterns were different. Also, we could not confirm any geographic trend from Bayesian clustering.

An electrical balance of plant(EBOP) of a 600㎾ molten carbonate fuelcell (MCFC) has to transit from grid-connected(GC) mode to grid-independent(GI) mode when a grid is in a fault conditions. A minimum transition time is limited by four cycle for a 600㎾ MCFC to ride through a grid fault. In this paper, we propose a control algorithm of a 600㎾ EBOP for a MCFC system. The EBOP has three operation modes, i.e., GC mode, GI mode, and grid-synchronized(GS) mode. The EBOP controls output currents in a GC mode and regulates output voltages in GI or GS mode. GS mode is defined as an interface between GC mode and GI mode to make a mode transition smooth, i.e., limitation of inrush currents, regulation of output voltages within ANSI standard. Simulations and experiments carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control algorithm.
