      • Petri Net 형식론을 이용한 철도차량 주차단기 제어회로 모델링

        The computer system is used in many application domains and any system error in these domains may either cause critical loss or threaten environment or human life. Though examples of these domains can be found in many areas, the system, which is used in domains for carrying passengers including rolling stocks in particular, is expected to show satisfactory operation all the time. The relay control logic, which is used in rolling stocks, is complex in hardware and occupies considerably large volume. Nevertheless, it has been used for a long time, to let the system safely operate even in the occurrence of an error in the computer system. However, the relay control logic circuit is so complex that the analysis of proper circuit operation and interlocking tends to be dependent only on the designer’s experiences instead of being systematically performed. Especially, the analysis following a change, addition and deletion of a previous circuit according to the requirements from a source of demand is significantly limited. In this paper, the accuracy of relay control logic is verified by the use of properties of Petri Net model. In addition, how main circuit breaker (MCB) control circuit is modeled and analyzed by the design methodology is shown.

      • 철도차량 LED 실내등 적용 검토 (Consideration of LED Saloon light for rolling stock)

        The saloon light is the device that can offer convenience and comfort to the driver and passenger when the train is operated at night or in the tunnel. Generally, The fluorescent type saloon for the rolling stock have been used, but the problems that are short life and the generation of heat have been brought about because the saloon lihgts of rolling stock are supposed to operated continuously long time, and high power consumption. So, the development of new type of saloon lights has been requested in order to solve these problems. And recently the various LED type lights have been developed and LED type saloon lights for rolling stock also has been developed. Therefore, we survey the characteristic, function and needed condition of the LED type saloon lights for rolling stock, and analyze the good and bad point, and then research the complement of weak point. We want to find the direction and develop the design of future LED saloon light type.

      • 철도차량용 축전지 적용 사례 (Cases of applying battery to rolling stock)

        축전지는 차량을 기동할 때나 비상시의 제어전원으로서 철도차량의 구성품 중 매우 중요한 부분이다. 현재 널리 사용되고 있는 축전지로는 연축전지와 니켈카드뮴축전지 등이 있으며 점차 소형화 경량화 되어 가고 있는 추세이다. 또한 철도차량의 전자제어기술의 발달로 인하여 필요로 하는 전기용량이 늘어나고 있다. 따라서 다양한 종류의 고효율 축전지들이 신규 노선의 차량에 검토되고 있지만 철도차량용 축전지는 안전상으로 충분히 검증이 되어야 하며 또한 관리 측면에서도 어려움이 없어야 하는 요구조건으로 인하여 실제 적용하는 데에는 많은 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재 철도차량에 적용된 축전지 사례를 조사하고 적용을 시도 중인 축전지들의 특성을 확인하여 안전 및 성능, 관리적인 측면에서 어떠한 문제가 있는지 검토하여 향후 축전지 발전 동향에 대하여 논하고자 한다. A battery is an important part of the component. as a power source of the control of rolling stock at starting movement or emergency control. Now widely used batteries are Ni-Cd batteries and lead accumulators, and these are increasingly getting smaller and lighter. In addition, the electric capacity required is increasing. due to the development of electronic control technology of rolling stock. Therefore, various kinds of high-efficiency battery are considered for the new routes’ rolling stock, but rolling stock’s batteries should be fully tested to prove safety and also have no difficulty in terms of management. so because of the requirement. it is difficult to be in practical application. In this paper, we will survey cases of applying battery to rolling stock and then we will review whether there is any problem about safety and performance, management to discuss future trend of batteries.
