Purpose: The purpose of study is to know whether patients with traumatic brain injury have a problem related to self-awareness and impairment of self-awareness affect theory of mind(ToM) that infer a person"s mind. Methods: 10 patients with traumatic brain injury participated in this study: 4patients with traumatic brain injury have problem of self-awareness, 6 patients with traumatic brain injury don"t have problem of self-awareness, 10 normal subjects. Authors examined the ability of ToM of all subjects. Results: Patients with traumatic brain injury have problem the task of ToM compared to normal subjects. But, the difference did not appear on the task of ToM performance according to problem of self-awareness. Conclusions: The significant difference did not appear in the ability of TOM according to the self-awareness. But it was different the average scores of TOM task for each group. so it was considered that self-awareness may affect the ability of TOM.
매개변수를 활용한 디지털 디자인 프로세스 개발에 관한 연구

현대사회의 디지털 정보화는 디자인 분야에서 컴퓨터를 이용한 설계 및 제작방법인 CAD(Computer Aided Design), CAM(Computer Aided Manufacturing)기술로 광범위한 발전을 지속하고 있으며, 기존 조형성의 한계를 극복하고 새로운 개념의 형태를 창조하는 역할을 하고 있다. 이러한 환경의 변화는 디자인의 영역에 개념적, 조형적 전환점을 제공하였다. 디지털 디자인에서 원천적으로 사용된 초기 변수들은 기존 디자인 프로세스에서 설계자에 의해 직관적으로 사용되던 것과는 달리 논리적인 형태 형성과 변형에 결정적인 작용을 하게 된다. 본 연구는 사례고찰을 바탕으로 매개변수를 활용한 디지털 디자인 프로세스를 개발하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이론 연구에서는 디지털 디자인의 개념과 배경을 관련문헌과 사례를 통해 살펴보았으며, 매개변수기반의 디지털 디자인 프로세스가 가지는 의미를 파악하였다. 실험연구에서는 이론적 고찰을 보다 구체화하기 위해 실질적인 디자인 방법론을 바탕으로 매개변수 기반의 디지털 디자인프로세스를 개발하였다. 이 프로세스는 실제 설계단계에서 디지털 디자인 프로세스가 창의적으로 활용될 수 있으며, 결정된 모델의 실제 생산에 필요한 작업치수 등을 자동으로 추출할 수 있는 프로세스를 제시한다. 디자인의 새로운 창의성은 언제나 기존 디자인을 넘어서 실험적인 방법을 시도하는데 있다. 이러한 개념을 주도하고 있는 디지털 디자인의 맥락에서, 본 연구는 매개변수를 활용한 디지털 디자인 프로세스의 개발과 그 구체화 과정을 통해 실험적이고 창의적인 방법을 시도했다는데 의의가 있을 것이며, 본 연구를 통해 디지털 디자인에 대한 보다 다양한 논의를 기대할 수 있을 것이다 Digital information has been developing from the technology such as CAD(Computer Aided Design) and CAM(Computer Aided Manufacturing) in the contemporary design area. And, these digital technologies are getting to overcome the limitations of design and to create the shapes with new concepts. So, these environmental change offered the conceptual and plastic turning point in design. In digital design, the original parametric elements have conclusive effects on a logical shape forming rather than those of what designer used intuitively in the existing design process. The purpose of this study is to develope a ‘digital design process using parametric design methods.’ This thesis consists of a theoretical study and an experimental study. first, I grasped the concept and backgrounds of digital space design through the related studies and cases. Second, I established the concept of digital design in a view of human-environment interaction and adapted introducing the concept of form generated by environmental parameter in order to develop a digital design process using parametric design methods. In order to create a new concept of design, we should attempt an experimental approach beyond the existing design methods. This study is meaningful in attempting a creative and interactive digital design method through the theoretical study and the experimental approach.

현대 도심 공공시설은 대규모화, 다기능화, 다변화, 복합적 연계 공간화의 추세로 빠르게 변화되고 있으며 이러한 현상 속에서 많은 수의 대중이 항시 이용하는 공공시설에서의 환경 지원성(Affordance) 문제가 점차 대두되고 있다. 공공환경의 지원성의 문제 중 ‘길찾기(wayfinding)’ 문제는 현대 사회에서 다루어져야 할 기본적인 영역으로 자리잡고 있으며(Sharon MacMinner), 특히, 복잡해진 공간구조의 지하철역, 대형 병원, 학교, 쇼핑몰 등과 같은 공공 공간에서는 더욱 그 심각성이 더욱 크다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 선행연구의 고찰을 통하여 공공환경에서의 길찾기의 변수로서 사용자 측면에서 길찾기에 영향을 미치는 항목을 추출하고 길찾기 향상을 위한 조건을 도출함으로써 길찾기 지원 환경디자인 지침수립을 위한 기초 연구로서의 목적을 가진다. 본 연구는 다양한 측면에서의 선행 길찾기 연구를 분석하고 유형화하여 환경디자인에서 접근가능한 물리적 요인들을 도출하고 관련이론들을 근거로 하여 디자인 지침에 활용가능한 보다 실용적인 기초자료를 제시한다는데 그 의의가 있다. In these days, lots of public spaces such as subway stations or shopping malls locating in downtown of a big city tend to change into mega-scaled and multi-functional complex spaces. And, therefore, their environmental affordability, specially wayfinding issues seem to be more important and critical. The purpose of this study is to suggest the specific design guidelines for major physical elements like colors, patterns or shapes which can produce the place identity enhancing wayfinding affordance. The research consists with theoretical studies. From the precedent researches, the main design categories being related with wayfinding affordance were drawn and then the list and conditions of major physical interior elements were studied. The result presented that the specific design guidelines as well as design principles could be focused on the categories like sign system, architectural conditions, and interior treatments. Design guidelines as the result of the research, could be easily and directly applied on the real public spaces as a visual guidance enhancing navigability(the ability to recover position and orientation) to make up the wayfinding weakness.
증강현실 기반 언어치료 프로그램 중재가 표현성 실어증 환자의 이름대기와 기능적 의사소통 능력에 미치는 효과

Purpose: Central goal of language therapy for aphasia should be the improvement of the patient’s everyday language competence. However, functional communication approach is difficult to apply to the clinical field, so most of them are symptom-oriented treatment. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether speech therapy program based augmented reality is effective in improving the naming and functional communication ability of patients with expressive aphasia. Methods: 3 patients with expressive aphasia participated in the experiment where the naming and functional communication scores were compared pre and post treatment. For treatment, augmented reality contents similar to the home environment(room, living room, bathroom, kitchen) were produced and presented to the patient in the form of a script. Then, when subjects recognized such marks with a camera, three-dimensional models corresponding with the marks were indicated on the relevant card showing the image to subjects on the monitor. Results: All subjects" response score were improved. According to the results of the study, Naming Ability scores of pre-treatment(31.6) were shown to be higher than post-treatment(47.3). And Functional Communication Ability scores of pre-treatment(38.6) were shown to be higher than post-treatment(55.6). Conclusions: Speech therapy program based augmented reality can complement the symptom-oriented treatment and make functional communication approach possible.
소프트웨어를 이용한 마비말장애 화자의 일련운동속도 분석

Purpose: The primary goal of this study was to discover whether the articulatory diadochokinesis (sequential motionrate, SMR) collected using the Motor Speech Disorder Assessment (MSDA) software module can diagnose dysarthria and determine its severity. Methods: Two subject groups, one with spastic dysarthria (n=26) and a control group of speakers (n=30) without neurological disease, were set up. From both groups, the SMR was collected by MSDA at a time, and then analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results: For the parameters of syllable rate, jitter, and the mean syllable length (MSL) at the front and back, the control group displayed better results than the dysarthria patients. Conclusions: At the level of articulatory diadochokinesis, the results showed that the use of MSDA software in clinical practice was generally suitable for quickly recording the parameters of syllable rate, jitter, and mean syllable length.
