Applications using contorted-hexabenzocoronene derivatives

Contorted hexabenzocoronene (cHBC) was designed and synthesized by Colin Nuckolls group in 2005. The aromatic core of cHBC is distorted away from planarity by steric congestion in its proximal carbon atoms. This unique structure of cHBC allowed to form self-assembled molecular wires through pi-pi interactions or cocrystals with fullerenen by forming ball-and-socket interfaces, resulting in the formation of donor-acceptor at molecular level for photovoltaics. Recently, these molecular packing behaviors were adopted in alkali ion storage applications. Lithium ions were intercalated into the columnar structures of cHBC and stored with facile insertion and desertion advantages compared with graphite anode. More various applications using cHBC derivatives would be introduced.

전 세계적으로 자가치유(self-healing) 재료 개발에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 자가치유 소재는 모든 소재분야에 커다란 파급효과를 줄 수 있기 때문에, 선진국에서는 10여 년 전부터 많은 연구투자가 이루어지고 있고 최근 들어서는 자가치유 콘크리트, 자가치유 자동차 코팅소재 등 상업적으로 적용 가능한 가시적인 성과물들이 나오기 시작하고 있다. 그에 반해, 국내에서는 상대적으로 이 분야에 대한 관심 부족과 소규모의 연구비 투자 등으로 선진국과 기술력 격차가 벌어지고 있는 상황이다. 하지만, 복합소재를 이용한 자가치유 소재 개발분야는 아직 그 격차가 크지 않고, 복합소재의 특성상 발전 가능성이 많기 때문에 단시간에 기술력을 따라가 우리나라에서도 이 분야를 선도할 가능성이 크다. 여기서는 다양한 나노카본 소재를 이용한 자가치유 복합소재의 연구동향에 대해 정리해 보았다. 앞으로 국내에서도 많은 자가치유 복합소재 개발이 이루어지길 기대해 본다.

향후 디지털교과서 활용의 올바른 방향 설정과 현 디지털교과서 사용에 따른 단점과 역기능을 파악하여 보완하기 위해서는 디지털교과서를 이미 활용하고 있는 다른 나라들의 실태를 일률적인 기준에 의해 검토하고 분석하여 국내의 디지털교과서 활용 정책 개선을 위한 시사점을 도출할 필요가 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 미국, 캐나다, 말레이시아, 중국의 디지털교과서 활용 정책을 비교·분석하고 우리나라의 디지털교과서 정책을 개선할 수 있는 방안을 검토하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 각 국가별 디지털교과서 추진주체 및 전략, 사용범위, 발행제도, 활용 방식을 각각 비교·분석하고 각 국가별 디지털교과서 정책의 시사점을 분석하였다. 그리고 각 국가별 시사점을 바탕으로 우리나라 디지털교과서 정책의 개선 방안을 제시하였다. 본 논문을 통해 제시된 디지털교과서 개선 방안은 향후 디지털교과서의 발전 방안 정책을 마련하는데 의미있는 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 기대한다. In order to establish the correct direction for the use of digital textbooks in the future, it is necessary to derive implications for improving the domestic digital textbook utilization policy by analyzing the actual conditions of other countries that are already using digital textbooks. Therefore, in this paper, we compared the policies of using digital textbooks in the United States, Canada, Malaysia, and China, and reviewed ways to improve Korea's digital textbook policies. First, each country's digital textbook promotion subject and strategy, scope of use, issuance system, and usage method were compared, and then the implications of each country's digital textbook policy were analyzed. And based on these implications, a plan to improve Korea's digital textbook policy was suggested. It is expected that this will be used as meaningful basic data in preparing policies for the development of digital textbooks in the future.
