수로보니게 여인의 믿음과 지혜 (막 7:24-30) : 하나님 나라의 외인에서 내인으로

수로보니게 여인의 기사(막 7:24-30[31a])는 ‘예수님의 난해한 말씀’을 가진 “해석학적으로 매우 어려운 본문 중의 하나”이다. 본 글은 ‘하나님의 말씀’으로서 성경이해와 그 역사성의 전제하에서 본문 자체와 본문을 둘러싼 사회-문화적 상황을 고려하여 본문의 의미를 찾는데 연구의 주안점이 있다. 논문의 연구방법은 문학적, 역사적, 신학적 3차원을 가진 ‘이중전망의 접근방법’(bi-focal approach)하에 서 서사-수사적인 해석방법(narrative-rhetorical approach)을 구사할 것이다. 위의연구방법에 따라서, 제1장은 서사구조분석을 통해 스토리의 흐름과 본문의 구조적 의미를 파악한다. 구조분석에 따르면, 예수와 여인과의 문답부분(27-29절)이 구조의 중심에 위치한 저자의 주된 관심임을 이해하게 될 것이다. 제2장은서사-수사적인 주해방법을 통해 사건의 흐름을 따라 본문의 의미를 탐구한다. 주로 배경이 되는 지리적-공간적 의미(두로와 집)와 수로보니게 여인에 대한인물 연구, 그리고 예수와의 대담 가운데 있는 비유의 의미를 파악하는데 집중할 것이다. 대담 중의 ‘먼저’의 의미 그리고 ‘자녀’와 ‘개’의 비유와 ‘떡’과 ‘배불리 먹음’의 의미를 집중적으로 탐구할 것이다. 마지막 제3장은 본문이 가지는 신학적-목회적 의미인 1) 예수의 사명과 신분이해, 2) 제자도의 본질, 3) 하나된 밥상신앙공동체, 끝으로 4) 이방선교 모티브를 탐구한다. This paper deals with the story of the Syrophoenician woman(Mk 7:24-30[31a]) also known as “one of the more hermeneutically difficult Markan narratives” including "one of the hard sayings of Jesus." The purpose of this paper is to find the meaning of Mk 7:24-30[31a] from the text itself and its socio-cultural context, under the presupposition that the Bible is "God's Word" and its historicity. With this purpose, the study will pursue a narrative-rhetorical interpretation as a unifying interpretative framework for grasping more comprehensively the meaning of the text: "bi-focal approach" with literary, historical and theological dimensions. Under such a unifying methodological framework, section 1 will deal with the narrative structural analysis on the text in order to understand the flow of the story and the main point of the story. According to the structural analysis, we will understand that the dialogue between Jesus and the Syropheoenician woman, which is at the center of its structure, is the central concern of the author. Section 2 will examine the meaning of Mk 7:24-30 in the light of the flow of the story through narrative-rhetorical interpretation. The narrative-rhetorical interpretation will mainly deal with the geographical and spatial meaning as the setting of the story(Tyro and house) and the meaning of the identity of the Syrophoenician woman whom the narrator introduces, and the meaning of the referents in the dialogue between them: “first,” “the children,” “the dogs,” the “bread” and then “being filled.” Lastly, section 3 will deal with the theological-pastoral meanings of the story by 4 main themes in the Gospel of Mark: the mission and identity of Jesus, the nature of discipleship, the church as a unified table-fellowship community which is the mixed make-up of Jews and Gentiles, and the gentile mission motif.

This article is a hermeneutical evaluation of the life, the ministry and the theology of Rev. Sang-Bok Kim, for the purpose of inspiring and teaching the next generation. First and foremost, prior to evaluating his ministry and his theology one must first observe his life to understand the depth of his spirituality and the formation of his values and beliefs. We will look at his life through three different stages. First, his life in Korea (1939.1.11∼1965.8): north (Pyongyang) and south (Pusan and Seoul); second, his life in America (1965.8∼1990.5): studying abroad, teaching and ministry; and lastly, his life again in Korea (1990.6∼2011.1): his life based on his ministry at Hallelujah Church. Understanding his life through these three different stages will provide us insight with regard to the direction of his ministry and its characteristics. Furthermore, his ministry can be divided into teaching ministry and pastoral ministry. Within his pastoral ministry we will be able to see him as a ‘pastor-teacher’ (Eph. 4:11) through the vision, the method and the characteristics of his ministry. Lastly, his theology is understood as well as criticized generally on his view of Bible (‘plenary verbal inspiration’) and in particular his view of pneumatology and eschatology and ecclesiology and woman ordination, and WCC.

“유성 김준곤 목사의 진정한 영적 힘은 바로 그의 설교에 있다”는 평은 결코 허언(虛言)이 아니다. 특히 예수 칼럼을 통한 그의 메시지는 많은 사람의 심금을 울리고 변화의 기폭제가 되었다. 그의 제자의 한 사람으로서, 또한 신학교 교수이며 목사로서 필자는 고(故) 김준곤 목사의 제10주기를 맞이하 여 다시 한 번 유성의 남긴 삶을 반추하며 그의 영성과 설교세계를 살펴보 고자 한다. 무엇보다도 유성의 설교세계는 그의 삶의 역사와 결을 같이 하 고, 그 삶의 역사는 ‘말씀과 기도’(기도와 말씀)를 통하여 영성과 신학으로 내면화되고, 그것은 또한 설교세계로 표출된다. 먼저 3.1 운동과 임시정부수 립 100년을 기념하는 올해에 유성의 10주기를 맞이하여 필자는 1) 그의 영성 과 설교세계를 역사와 민족과 결을 같이 한 암울했던 우리 시대의 예언자며 선구자로서의 유성의 모습을 살펴보고, 2) 그러한 역사와 삶의 궤적에서 유 성의 설교가 어떻게 형성되고 어떤 모습을 띄게 되었는지 유성의 신앙세계 (영성)를 살펴보고, 3) 마지막으로 그의 설교의 핵심은 무엇인지를 살펴봄으 로써 다음 세대의 교훈으로 삼고자 한다. The evaluation that “Pastor ‘Yu Seung(流星)’, Joon Gon Kim’s true spiritu- al strength lies in his sermons” is not empty words. Particularly, the writings he left in <Jesus Column> not only struck a chord with many but acted as a catalyst for change. Pastor Kim’s sermons reflect his life. 2019 marks the 100th Anniversary of South Korea’s March 1st Independence Movement Day as well as of the establishment of the provi- sional government. It is also the 10th anniversary of Pastor Kim’s passing. As one of his disciples, a professor and pastor of a theological seminary I want to ruminate on his life by exploring his spirituality and sermons. Yu Seung’s sermons are in tune with the history of his life. His life in- ternalized spirituality and theology through the living Word and Prayer, which is also expressed in his sermons. Through this paper, I will explore further on three points: 1) How Pastor Kim’s spirituality and sermons came to life as a prophet and pioneer during the gloomy era of Korean history; 2) How Pastor Kim’s sermons took shape within that period along with his life and what his sermons were; and 3) What our future generation can learn from his spirituality and sermons.
