      • Chimera의 객체 모델을 Oracle 논리적 스키마로 변환

        This paper presents the process of translating the object model of Chimera into flat relational tables. Although during this process part of the semantics of object orientation is inevitably lost, the goal of this paper is to preserve as much as possible of it. Therefore, we produce a collection of semantically related tables, with a large number of referential integrity constraints between them, so that any legal instance of the Oracle schema is a faithful representation of the Chimera conceptual model; objects, although dispersed in a large number of tables, can still be reproduced by connecting the relevant tuples by means of suitable relational operations. We assume initially that each class in Chimera is mapped to a table in Oracle: given that tables have a flat structure, this simple solution is sufficient only for classes that are neither arranged in a generalization hierarchy nor structured by means of complex type constructors. Thus, the problem of mapping the object-oriented model of Chimera into a flat relational model reduces to the problem of deciding an efficient implementation for the features which are not directly supported by relational systems, such as object identity, inheritance hierarchies, and complex type constructors.

      • IDEA 방법론을 이용한 다단계 보안 데이타베이스 스키마 설계

        Designing a multilevel database application is a complex process, and the entities and their associated security levels must be represented using an appropriate model unambiguously. It is also important to capture the semantics of a multilevel database application as accurate and complete as possible. Owing to the focus of the IDEA Methodology for designing the non-secure database applications on the data-intensive systems, the Object Model describes the static structure of the objects in an application and their relationships. That is, the Object Model in the IDEA Mthodology is an extended Entity-Relationship model giving a static description of objects. The IDEA Methodology has not been developed the multilevel secure database applications, but by using an existing methodology we could take advantage of the various techniques that have already been developed for that methodology. That is, this way is easier to design the multilevel secure schema than to develop a new model from scratch. This paper adds the security features to the Object Model in the IDEA Methodology, and presents the transformation from this model to a multilevel secure object oriented schema. This schema will be the preliminary work which can be the general scheme for the automatic mapping to the various commercial multilevel secure database management systems such as informix-Online/Secure, Trusted ORACLE, and Sybase Secure SQL Server.

        Like most object-oriented methodologies, the IDEA Methodology covers the three classical activities of analysis, design, and implementation. This paper concentrates on the analysis of power distribution network applications using the IDEA Methodology. Analysis is broadly divided into two main phases: coarse and detailed analysis. Coarse analysis aims to identify the main concepts and functions of the problem domain, Detailed analysis aims at defining the schema of the entities that populate the application domain and the available konwlege on such a schema. Its outcome is represented by the analysis model, namely the Object, Dynamic, and Application Models.

        華嚴 法界說의 이론과 특징 고찰

        화엄교학의 중요한 종취(宗趣)를 설명하기 위한 기본적인 교의(敎義)는 법계관(法界觀)으로 설명된다. 우주 만유의 법계가 가진 체성(體性)은 무자성(無自性)의 공성(空性)이다. 체성이 공성이라는 점에서 법계연기(法界緣起)의 인과(因果)로 화엄 교의에서 자주 등장하는 개념이 바로 성기(性起)이다. 성기(性起)는 항상불변(恒常不變)하는 부처의 본성이 중생 구제를 위해 일어난다는 것이니, 만유는 모두 불신(佛身)이라는 입장 이다. 법계(法界)는 평등(平等)과 차별(差別)의 측면에서 별도의 영역에 존재하는 것이 아니다. 사물의 존재는 하나하나는 상즉상입(相卽相入)하며, 육상(六相)을 갖추어 무애자재(無碍自在)한 연기실상의 모습을 그대로 투영한다. 화엄의 법계에 대해 교판(敎判)을 통해 관행의 수행(觀行 修行)을 체계화하고, 화엄(華嚴) 일승(一乘)의 종취(宗趣)를 구현해 낸다. 법장은 화엄 법계를 체험하는 방법을 총망라해 설파한 후, 육문(六 門)을 제시한 후 교(教)와 관(觀)의 합치를 지향한다. 현상과 원리의 관계성을 여실히 드러내거니와, 육상(六相)은 존재 구성의 요소가 서로 원융(圓融)함을 나타낸다. 이것은 화엄적 수행이 국한된 철학적인 사유로 그치거나 선언적 천명에서 머무는 것이 아니라 관도(觀道)라 지칭될 강력한 실천적 수단을 표방하고 있음을 의미한다. 이를 통해 화엄 수행자는 의리(義理)를 분제(分齊)하며, 나아가 관도(觀道)의 실천적 지향을 통해 관행(觀行)의 실천법인 화엄보살도를 실행하는 것이다. Fa-zang (b.643 – d.712), a venerable and great teacher of the Flower Garland School of Buddhism during the Tang Dynasty of China, taught theories called Siphyeonmun and Yuksang Weonyung. Under the logic of dependent origination of the Dharma realm, he provided detailed explanation about the Dharmadhatu and the reality. He explained that components of Dharmadhatu generates identity or integration of all phenomena with one another. At the same time, he explained the truth of mutual entry, or blending without any hindrance. Also, according to his teaching, Dharmadhatu that we live in have a feature, which is that One is all and all is One. Of note is that he is believed to have aimed for the complete coincidence or tally between the gateway to the observation of the mind and the doctrinal school. Through the teachings of Siphyeonmun and Yuksang Weonyung, we can properly understand ideas such as the dependent origination of the Dharma realm and the contemplation of one’s original true mind and action according to the wisdom attained through contemplation. Fa-zang’s argument was not a simple declaration that concludes with the observation of a conception in our mind. Rather, it is an emphasis on the necessity of practice for Bodhi. In addition to explaining the structure of Dharmadhatu, he can be considered as having sought to practice the contemplation of one’s original true mind and action according to the wisdom attained through contemplation.

      • 다단계 객체 모델을 다단계 관계형 데이터베이스로 변환

        In a multilevel database application, all of the entities(which include the representation of the humans, events, and activites of some slice of the real world of interest) are classified at different security levels. The multilevel object model captures the static aspects of the application. That is, it defines the object, the relationships between objects, the security levels of the objects, and those of the relationships. This paper presents methodologies of mapping the object model(classes, cover storied, assocciations, single inheritance and multiple inheritance) into a multilevel relational database. The focus is on the relational model as it is still the most popular one for multilevel environments. Designing a good multilevel relational database is a two-step process. During the first step, the object model is transformed into a collection of relations. During the second step, the relations are normalized accoiding to a theory of multilevel relational databases yet to be developed. This paper is concerned with just the first step.

        This paper describes the notion of a Multilevel Secure Knowledge Base Management System (MLS/KBMS). It then states a security policy and security constraints and a design for query operation in a MLS/KBMS is discussed. Query processing approach is to provide cover stories that lead to alternative explanations for readily available information. Therefore such cover stories prevent an unauthorized user from inferring high-level information from low-level data.

        The image is the picture digitalize visual information of real world. For using the various information in image, After we extract the feature information of image, and can use each of feature information. Recently, metadata information is used for the content-based retrieval in image. In this paper, we have designed and implemented authoring tool which use image feature information as metadata based on MPEG-7. The metadata, including feature information and reality information of image, can be used in the various parts using image.

        This paper briefly describes the main proposals to enforce security in Object-Oriented DBMS(OODBMS) by using mandatory policy. It first provides an overview of object-oriented database. Then discussions of mandatory security models for object-oriented database. Then discussions of mandatory security models for object-oriented systems are given. The mandatory classifications used in those models and the relationship between them are the same as those illustrated for the Bell-LaPadula model, on which all those models are based.
