중년 상담자의 박사과정 학업경험에 대한 자전적 내러티브 탐구

목적 이 연구는 중년 상담자의 박사과정 학업경험을 이해하려는 목적으로 시행되었다. 구체적으로 현재 학업을 수행 중인 학생의관점에서 박사과정 입학 동기, 박사과정 학업경험과 딜레마, 학업을 통한 삶의 변화 경험을 탐색하고자 하였다. 방법 연구참여자 5명의 경험을 Clandinin & Connelly(2000/2007)의 자전적 내러티브 탐구 방법으로 연구하였다. 연구 과정은현장에 존재하기, 현장에서 현장텍스트로, 현장텍스트 구성하기, 현장텍스트에서 연구텍스트로, 연구텍스트 작성하기의 5단계로진행하였다. 1인이 연구참여자로서 보고한 이야기를 토대로 다른 4명의 연구자가 의미를 종합하고 이 과정을 순환식으로 반복하여연구 결과를 제시하였다. 결과 연구참여자에게 ‘중년’, ‘상담자’, ‘박사과정’의 경험이 주는 의미는 다음과 같다. 첫째, ‘중년’의 위기를 극복하고 유연성과적응성을 발휘하며, 생애전환을 경험하였다. 둘째, 중년 ‘상담자’로서 가족의 생계 등 경제적 문제에 직면하게 되었고, 문제해결 과정에서 가족의 지지와 협력을 경험하였다. 셋째, 상담자로서 박사과정 학업경험을 통해서 발달을 꾀하고, 각자의 삶 안에서 소명을발견해나가고 있다. 결론 세 가지 결과를 통해서 도출된 결론은 다음과 같다. 중년, 상담자, 박사과정 중에 있는 연구참여자는 성장해 나가는 삶을 살아왔고, 그 삶을 유지하고 있으며, 앞으로의 삶을 준비하고 있다는 것이다. 즉, 이 연구의 연구자이며 연구참여자는 연구모임을 만들고박사과정을 유지하며, 서로의 조력을 통한 자기 치유로 자기 성장을 꾀하고, 이와 같은 과정을 반복하며 함께 성장해가는 모습을확인하였다. Objectives This study was conducted with the purpose of understanding the doctoral academic experience of middle-aged counselors. Specifically, we sought to explore the motivation for entering the doctoral program, the academic experiences and dilemmas of the doctoral program, and the experience of life change through study from the perspective of a student currently pursuing his or her studies. Methods The experiences of five research participants were studied using the autobiographical narrative inquiry method of Clandinin & Connelly (2000/2007). The research process was conducted in five stages: being in the field, moving from the field to field text, composing field text, from field text to research text, and writing research text. Based on the story reported by one person as a research participant, four other researchers synthesized the meaning and repeated this process in a circular manner to present the research results. Results The meaning of the experiences of ‘middle-aged’, ‘counselor’, and ‘doctoral student’ to the research participants is as follows. First, they overcame the ‘midlife’ crisis, demonstrated flexibility and adaptability and experienced a life transition. Second, as a middle-aged ‘counselor’, I faced economic problems such as my family's livelihood, and experienced my family's support and cooperation in the process of solving the problem. Third, as counselors, we seek to develop through academic experience in the doctoral program and discover our calling within our own lives. Conclusions The conclusions drawn from the three results are as follows. Research participants who are middle-aged, counselors, and doctoral students have lived lives of growth, are maintaining those lives, and are preparing for their future lives. In other words, it was confirmed that the researchers and research participants of this study formed a research group, maintained a doctoral program, sought self-growth through self-healing through mutual assistance, and grew together by repeating this process.

A spin valve structure of Ta/NiFe/CoFe/Cu/CoFe/Ru/CoFe/FeMn/Ta which has a synthetic antiferromagnet (CoFe/Ru/CoFe), was fabricated by using a magnetron sputtering system. The thickness and composition of magnetic free and pinned layers affect the magnetic properties such as exchange interaction strength of each layer and so on. Even though Rutherford Backscattering Spectrometry (RBS) has advantages of quantitative and non-destructive analysis, it is almost impossible to determine the thickness and composition of magnetic thin films using RBS because of its poor mass resolution for a higher atom number (Z>20). In this study, quantitative analysis of the element composition and thickness for the spin valve sample was performed by combining both Proton Induced X-ray Emission Spectrometry (PIXE), which is one of element specific analysis techniques, and grazing-exit RES with a highly improved depth resolution and absolute quantitative analysis. For the quantitative analysis, standardization of PIXE was carried out with NiFe, CoFe, and FeMn layers, which are one of constituent layers of spin valve films. Through PIXE standardization and the aid of PIXE experimental results of the spin valve sample, the overlapped signal in a grazing-exit RBS spectrum were successfully resolved and the thickness of the Ru layer was determined with a resolution of ~1 Å.
