As the contribution of analysis (CAE) to vehicle development increases, the use of finished vehicle analysis models to check key NVH actual vehicle performance before the test vehicle is built is now a common process in the automotive industry. The vehicle model for NVH analysis consists of structural components and acoustic cavities. Therefore, to improve CAE stability, it is necessary to improve the accuracy of each system. In this paper, using the natural frequency and frequency response analysis of the assembled retractor model, we analyzed how the sensitivity characteristics of each component of the vehicle seatbelt retractor model were affected by the company’s SPEC criteria.

This study was carried out on the retractor in automobile parts, and the structure of air was created and the structureacoustic was approached by frequency-based method using modal analysis. The modal analysis was used to compare changes in natural frequencies and the effect of the changed natural vibration mode on the acoustic pressure. In addition, the frequency range can be selected when the FRF characteristics are grasped on the basis of the natural vibration mode, and it is discussed by reviewing all the FE analysis results comprehensively.
