The slump, chloride content and strength characteristics of mortar are analyzed with various experimental conditions to investigate strength characteristics of the mortar which contain blast-furnace slag as fine aggregate. The test was performed for 36 kinds of samples with various ratio of W/C(45%, 50%, 55%), C/S(35%, 40%, 45%), and content of blast-furnace slag(0%, 25%, 50%, 75%). The mortar with 0% slag content ratio means all of the fine aggregate is consist with sea sand. The strength properties of the mortar are examined at 7 and 28days, and the test results are analyzed for each conditions with various correlation graphs. The analyzed results the tests are summarized as follows. The slump is increased with the increase of W/C and decrease of C/S and slag content ratio. The maximum slump does not exceed the law slump value of cement mortar. The chloride content is decreased with the increase of W/C, C/S, slag content ratio, but the content exceeded the value of concrete standard specification. The compressive strength and flexural strength is decreased with the increase of W/C, C/S and slag content ratio. And the variation rate of compressive strength was largest when the C/S ratio is 45%.
