        n-GaN/vanadium-based Ohmic 접촉 형성

        We investigate vanadium (V)-based Ohmic contacts on n-GaN ($N_{d}$=$2.0${\times}$10^{18}$ $cm^{-3}$ ) as a function of annealing temperature. It is shown that the V (60 nm) contacts become Ohmic with specific contact resistances of $10^{-3}$ $- 10^{-4}$ Ω$\textrm{cm}^2$ upon annealing at 650 and $850^{\circ}C$. The V(20 nm)/Ti(60 nm)/Au(20 nm)contacts produce very low specific contact resistances of $2.2 ${\times}$ 10^{-5}$ and$ 4.0${\times}$10^{-6}$ Ω$\textrm{cm}^2$ when annealed at 650 and $850{\circ}C$, respectively. A comparison shows that the use of the overlayers (Ti/Au) is very effective in improving Ohmic property. Based on the current-voltage measurement, Auger electron spectroscopy, glancing angle X-ray diffraction, and X-ray photoemission spectroscopy results, the possible mechanisms for the annealing temperature dependence of the Ohmic behavior of the V-based contacts are described and discussed.d.

        건설기업의 Scope 3 탄소배출량 산정 범위에 대한 고찰

        In October 2018, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) recommended limiting global warming to 1.5C and proposed achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. Since then, many countries have declared their commitment to achieving net-zero emissions. Korean government has set a national greenhouse gas reduction target of 40% by 2030 from 2018 levels. Construction companies in Korea are making efforts to calculate their carbon emissions internally for this purpose. However, they are not sufficiently accounting and reporting carbon emissions related to Scope 3 within the construction industry value chain. This research analyzes sustainable management reports of construction companies to identify case studies of Scope 3 carbon reduction and to derive the Scope 3 categories currently being presented. Next, based on survey data provided by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), criteria are established for 1)Amount of emissions, 2) Relevance of data, and 3)Ease of calculation and reliability. The collected data is used to calculate scores for each Scope 3 categories based on the three criteria, and suggest five categories that had highest total score among categories. Using these recommended categories, carbon emissions of over 90% in the construction project value chain are expected to be calculated. In conclusion, the study provides valuable insights into Scope 3 emissions reduction strategies in the construction industry, with a focus on domestic companies. A guideline from scope 3 categories selected by three different evaluations will help companies that evaluate environmental performance and impact investors to have a more objective standard compared to existing methods.

        Dimethyl Phthalate의 오존산화 반응에 관한 연구

        실험실적 규모의 순환형 회분식 반응기에서 Dimethyl phthalate (DMP)성분을 효율적으로 제거하기 위하여 Al₂O₃촉매의 주입 그리고 반응온도의 조건을 달리하여 오존산화 반응을 수행하였다. 산화 반응에서 오존의 유량은 1.0 L min-1, 오존 농도를 300 ± 10 mg L-1로 일정하게 유지 하였으며, 산화 반응이 진행되는 60분 동안 10분 간격으로 pH, CODCr와 TOC를 측정하여 이를 비교 분석하였다. O₃/Al₂O₃에서는 O₃ 단독 공정에 비해 CODCr 및 TOC 측정값에 기초한 제거효율은 증가하였으며, 20℃에서 CODCr 및 TOC의 반응속도상수는 3.65 × 10-4 sec-1, 2.52 × 10-4 sec-1, 활성화 에너지는 0.75 kcal·mol-1, 0.70 kcal·mol-1로 각각 나타났다. Ozonation was performed under various experimental conditions that Al₂O₃ catalysts dosage and temperature for removal of DMP in laboratory scale batch reactor. Flow rate of ozone 1.0 L min-1 and ozone concentration of 300 ± 10 mg L-1 were maintained constantly, and the pH, CODCr and TOC was measured in 10 min intervals during the 60 min at oxidation processes. As a result, the presence of the Al₂O₃ than only ozonation increased the removal efficiency of both CODCr and TOC in solution. The pseudo first-order rate constants for the elimination of CODCr and TOC were 3.65 × 10-4 sec-1, 2.52 × 10-4 sec-1, and activation energy was 0.75 kcal·mol-1 and 0.70 kcal·mol-1 at 20℃, respectively.

        Fe-Mn-Si 합금에서 집합조직 형성과 이에 따른 형상기억효과의 이방성

        This study is aimed at investigating the anisotropy of shape memory effect in Fe-based alloy. An Fe-15Mn-3Si-4Co-5Cr alloy was cold rolled by 92%, and annealed at 630℃ for 46 min. The alloy undergoes γ→ε→α’ transformation by cold rolling and γ is restored with a major preferred orientation of (110)γ[001]γ by the annealing. The specimens for shape memory effect and tensile test were taken 0, 45, 70, 80 and 90 degs to the rolling direction. The specimen taken along 70 degs to the rolling direction exhibits the best shape memory effect. An analysis of the (110)γ[001]γ texture reveals that the specimen experiences the deformation along [221]γ which is the most expandable direction in the γ→ε transformation. In tensile test, the best SME specimen shows the lowest yield stress, indicating that the transformation take place most easily since the deformation is applied to the preferential direction to the deformation.
