일제강점기 부산의 야구 활동에 관한 연구

일제강점기 부산의 야구 활동을 알아보기 위해 부산의 야구시작, 야구단체, 야구시설, 야구대회에 초점을 맞추어 그 실태를 파악하고 체육사적으로 어떠한 의미가 있는지를 검토한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 부산과 일본은 지리적으로 가까운 관계로 일제강점기 초기에 일본인에 의해 야구 활동이 시작되었다. 야구 활동은 주로 일본인들에 의해 설립되고 만들어진 야구단체주최의 각종 야구대회가 야구시설에서 활발히 개최되면서 보급, 전개되어 갔다. 이러한 사실을 통해 부산에서 대부분의 야구활동은 일본인에 의해 행해졌다는 한계를 지니면서 네거티브적인 면이 있으나 한국스포츠사 전체상을 고려할 때 지방스포츠의활성화를 가져왔다는 점에서 일정한 이니셔티브를 가지고 있었다고 생각한다. This study delves into the historical significance of baseball activities in Busan, with particular focus on the inception, organizations, facilities, and competitions of baseball in Busan. The findings are summarized as follows. Due to its geographical to Japan, baseball activities in Busan were predominantly led by the Japanese during the early years of the Japanese occupation. Baseball organization, primarily established and led by the Japanese, actively organized various baseball competitions in baseball facilities, contributing to the widespread dissemination and development of the sport. This aspect, however, shows it has a limitation in that the majority of baseball activities in busan were organized by the Japanese casting a somewhat negative. Nevertheless, when considered within the broader context of Korean sports history, baseball in Busan has an initiative that significantly contributed to the revitalization of provincial sports.

在日本東京朝鮮留學生學友會의 스포츠 활동에 관한 연구

The research focused on the organization, activities, budget, and sport activities in order to review the sport activities of Hakwoohoe in Japan(HWHJ). As a result, the following can be concluded. HWHJ was a group organized after Daehanhunghakhoe which unified various groups of Korean students in Japan that had separated or merged prior to October, 1912. The organization of the HWHJ was run by staffs and each executive member, while the whole members participated in the general meeting and decided important issues. The activities of the HWHJ included sports competitions, out matches to Korea, newsletter publication and conferences for discussion and speech contests. Funds were collected by membership fees and sales profits from newsletter. In April of 1920, a special meeting of the executive committee decided to establish a soccer team, tennis team, and field and track team under the Athletic Dpartment. The goal of foreign matches in Korea was to inspire athleticism among Koreans under Japanese control at that time, and also to enhance the quality of sports in Korea.

민족의 제전, 전국체육대회 100년의 역사적 의미

This Study studied the historical meaning of the 100-year history of the National Sports Festival(NSF), which is the nation's top sports festival, by its birth, resurrection, leap and soar. And the conclusions are as follows. The NSF is Korea's most prestigious and historical sports event and served it's role to raise awareness of the national consciousness by resisting against the Japanese occupation. After the independence, it served as a cradle for Korea's elite sports, such as finding and nurturing elite athletes internally through balanced development of sports between Seoul and dther countries and setting the stage for promoting national prestige and enhancing the status of the nation externally. Also, National Sports Event is very meaningful in that it gave people courage, hope, and self-esteem. From now on, the NSF will have to prepare for a new 100 years of Korean sports through the evaluation of its achievements and tasks so far, and make an opportunity for a national harmony and leap forward to become a sports advanced country. 본 연구는 우리나라 최고의 스포츠축제인 전국체육대회 100년의 역사를 알아보기 위해 그 특징과 성격에 따라 탄생, 부활, 도약, 비상으로 나누어 그 역사적 의미를 검토한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 전국체육대회는 명실 공히 한국 최고의역사와 권위를 자랑하는 체육행사로서 일제강점기에는 일제에 저항하며 민족의식을 고취시키는 역할을 했다. 그리고 광복후에는 대내적으로는 지방과 서울의 균형 있는 체육발전을 통해 엘리트선수의 발굴과 육성의 무대로서, 대외적으로는 국위선양, 국가의 위상제고를 위한 기틀을 마련하는 등 한국엘리트체육의 요람 역할을 했다고 할 수 있다. 또한 전국체육대회는 역사적으로 국민들에게 용기와 희망, 자신감을 가질 수 있게 했다는 점에서 그 의미는 매우 크다고 할 수 있겠다. 앞으로 전국체육대회는 지금까지의 성과와 과제에 대한 평가를 통해 한국체육의 새로운 100년을 준비하며 체육을 통한민족화합과 스포츠선진국으로 도약하는 계기를 마련해야 할 것이다.

일제강점기 부산의 대표적인 조선인 스포츠단체 부산체육회의 활동을 알아보기 위해 설립, 활동에 초점을 맞추어 부산체육회의활동이 부산의 근대스포츠 발전에 어떠한 영향을 미쳤는지를 검토한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 부산체육회는 부산의 각종 운동선수를 지도, 장려해서 일제의 부산체육협회에 대항하기 위해 설립되었다. 부산체육회는 부산부민의 운동회뿐만 아니라전국 규모의 각종대회를 개최하며 부산에서 조선인의 스포츠 활동을 리드하는 단체였다. 또한 사회적인 이슈가 있을 때는 축하행사를 개최하고 부산부민의 화합과 단결을 도모하는 것은 물론 민족주의 정신을 고취시키는 역할도 했다. 이처럼 부산체육회는 부산에서 조선인의 스포츠 활동을 주도한 단체로서 각종대회의 개최를 통해 부산 근대스포츠의 보급, 발전에 많은 공헌을한 단체였다. This study explores the impact of the activities of the Busan Sports Council(BSC), a prominent Joseon sports organization in Busan during Japanese occupation, on the development of modern sports. The focus is on the foundation and activities of the BSC, yielding the following results. The BSC was established to guide and encourage local athletes in Busan and resist the influence of the Japanese Busan Sports Association. The BSC played a pivotal role in shaping Joseon's sports landscape by organizing events such as Busan Sports Day and various national-scale competitions. Additionally, during times of social issues, it orchestrated celebratory events to foster harmony and unity among people in Busan and promote nationalism. Thus, the BSC emerged as a key organization driving Korean sports activities in Busan its significant, including the hosting of diverse competitions, greatly facilitated the dissemination and development of modern sports in the region.

민세 안재홍의 한국근대스포츠 발전에 미친 영향

This study focused on An, Jae Hong’s life, sports activities during the Japanese occupation, and sports activities after the independence, to find out the impact of An, Jae Hong on the development of Korean modern sports. The conclusions are as follows. An, Jae Hong devoted his entire life to the nation and acted as an independent activist, journalist, and politician to make the world of the people in this turbulent Korean modern history. In addition, as a sports administrator, he took the lead in hosting and sponsoring various sports competitions, sponsoring participation in the Olympic Games, and encouraging youth sports, to contribute a lot to the qualitative improvement of Korean sports. It is rare in Korean sports history that national leaders have engaged in various sports activities so far, and it could be said that it has great significance and is a remarkable fact. 본 연구는 안재홍이 한국근대스포츠의 발전에 미친 영향을 알아보기 위해 안재홍의 생애, 일제강점기의 스포츠 활동, 광복 후의 스포츠 활동에 초점을 맞추어 검토한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 안재홍은 격동의 한국근현대사 속에서 민중의 세상을 만들기 위해 독립운동가, 언론인, 정치가로서 평생 조국과 민족을 위해 헌신한 인물이었다. 그뿐만 아니라 스포츠 행정가로서 각종경기대회의 개최와 후원, 올림픽대회의 참가 후원, 그리고 청소년스포츠의 장려에도 앞장서며 한국스포츠 의 질적 향상을 도모하기 위해 많은 공헌을 했다. 이처럼 민족지도자가 다양한 스포츠 활동을 했다는 것은 지금까지 한국 스포츠사에서 매우 보기 드문 일로서 그 의미는 크다고 할 수 있으며 특기할만한 사실이라고 할 수 있겠다.

일제강점기 경성운동장 수영장에 관한 연구

이 연구는 일제강점기 경성운동장 수영장의 건설, 규정, 각종 경기대회, 각종 에피소드에 초점을 맞추어 그 실태를 파악하고 한국근대스포츠사에 어떠한 의미가 있는지를 검토했다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 경성운동장 수영장은 처음계획과는 달리 예산문제로 우여곡절을 겪은 끝에 준공되었는데 규정과 각종 부대시설은 오늘날 어떤 수영장과 비교해도손색이 없을 정도였다. 경성운동장은 수영장의 준공으로 각종 경기장을 망라한 종합운동장의 모습을 갖추었다. 이러한 종합운동장은 한국스포츠사상 처음이었다. 그리고 경성운동장 수영장은 경성뿐만 아니라 조선을 대표하는 스포츠시설로서, 각종 경기대회와 강습회를 통해 조선의 수영보급과 발전을 위한 초석이 된 스포츠시설로서 한국근대스포츠의 발전에 많은영향을 미쳤다는 사실에 그 의미가 있다고 할 수 있겠다. This study investigated the actual condition of Gyungseong Stadium Pool(GSP) during the Japanese occupation, focusing on the construction, rules, various competitions and episode of the Gyungseong Stadium, and examined what this means to Korean modern sports history. And the results are as follows. Unlike the original plan, the Gyungseong Sports Complex pool was completed after the twists and turns of budget problems. Rules and facilities were comparable to any pool today. The completion of the pool made Gyungseong Stadium encompass various kind of stadium and achieve a form of Sports Complex. This kind of Sports Complex was the first in Korean sports history. Therefore, the GSP is meaningful as it affects the development of modern sports in Korea, as a representative sports facility of not just Gyungseong but also Joseon, and as a cornerstone to the development of Joseon’s swimming through various competitions and classes.
