Blind Flanges are used to seal the end of piping systems industrial sites. However, due to various reasons, such as fluid in piping and environment, Flanges gaskets may undergo various physical changes. additional if this change leads to a deterioration in quality, environmental safety accidents such as Leak may occur. There, it is necessary to inspect gasket examine Gaskets. However, since the gasket is installed inside the flange, the piping inspection which requires disassembly or physical changes cannot be conducted in use. This research has conducted to devise an inspecting method for flanges without making any physical changes. In addition, my research indicates a possibility and reliability of a material test and a seal balance test for a gasket, by analyzing PAUT images and measuring a reflectivity of ultrasonic waves.
