사회과 교과서의 선거교육 내용 분석: 기능 영역을 중심으로

본 연구는 초 · 중 · 고등학교 사회과 교과서에 반영된 선거교육 기능(skill)을 분석하고, 이를 통해 현행 선거교육의 발전 방안을 탐색할 목적으로 실시되었다. 선거교육을 주제로 한 기존의 교과서 분석 연구들은 다양한 시민적 역량 가운데 주로 지식 측면에 초점을 맞추었다. 하지만 선거교육의 궁극적 목표는 선거 관련 지식 및 개념의 습득뿐만 아니라, 실천적 기능의 함양을 통해 바람직한 시민 참여를 이끌어내는 것이라 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 기능 영역에 초점을 맞추고, 교과서에 나타난 선거교육 기능을 체계적으로 분석하기 위해 교육목표분류학의 이론적 틀을 활용하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 교과서에 나타난 선거교육 기능 영역은 ‘기억하다’, ‘이해하다’와 같은 저차적 기능에 집중되어 있었다. 둘째, 모든 학교급에서 ‘기억하다’, ‘이해하다’의 비중이 절반 이상으로 높게 나타났지만, 학교급이 올라갈수록 상대적으로 고차적 기능도 확대되고 있었다. 셋째, ‘참여’기능과 관련된 내용은 초 · 중 · 고등학교 교과서 전체 중 단 한 곳에서만 나타났다. 향후 실천과 참여를 지향하는 선거교육의 본질 구현을 위해 다양한 측면에서 선거교육 내용 요소의 보완과 개선이 이루어져야 할 것이다. The purpose of this study was to analyze skills of election education in social studies textbooks and explore ways to improve current election education. Previously, content analysis of social studies textbooks on election education has mainly focused on knowledge among various civic competencies. However, the ultimate goal of election education is not only to acquire election-related knowledge and concepts, but also to foster practical skills for civic participation. Thus, the framework of taxonomy of educational objectives was used to systematically analyze election educational skills in social studies textbooks. Main research results are as follows. First, domains of election educational skills in textbooks are concentrated on lower-order skills such as ‘remember’, ‘understand’. Second, the proportion of ‘remember’ and ‘understand’ in all school levels is more than half. However, the relative number of higher-order skills is increased as school level goes up. Third, ‘participation’ skills appeared only once throughout the entire social studies textbooks. In order to promote election education that aims to practice skills and political participation in the future, elements of election education content should be supplemented and improved in various aspects.

흰점박이꽃무지(Protaetia brevitarsis) 추출물의 항혈전 효능

We aimed to evaluate antithrombotic efficacy of Protaetia brevitarsis extract during 21 days. Rats (SPF rat, weight 240~260 g) were divided into 16 groups (5 rats per group), they were: control group and Protaetia brevitarsis extract groups with dose of 0.1, 0.5, 1, 2.5, 5, 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 200, 250, 500, 750, 1,000 mg/kg kg of body weight. Thromboplastin time (PT) and activated partial thromboplastin time (aPPT) as antithrombotic efficacy were tested in this animal experiment (at 7, 14 and 21 days). Overall, the admistration dose of Protaetia brevitarsis extract over 50 mg/kg at 7, 14 and 21 days for PT and over 25 mg/kg at 7, 14 and 21 days for aPPT tented to be longer than that of other groups. In addition, the optimal admistration doses of Protaetia brevitarsis extract to improves antithrombotic efficacy were 75, 100, 200 and 250 mg/kg at 7, 14 and 21 days for PT (p<0.05) and 50 and 100 mg/kg at 7 days, 75 mg/kg at 14 days, or 50, 100, 200 and 250 mg/kg at 21 days for aPPT (p<0.05). It can be concluded that Protaetia brevitarsis extract at optimal levels have antithrombotic efficacy.
