보행환경 개선을 위한 보행자 에이전트(Agent) 모형의 개발과 시뮬레이션

Pedestrian behavior in commercial area gives an influence not only on retail sales but also urban development and spatial structure. However pedestrians sometimes face with dangerous accidents and suffer uncomfort owing to the high pedestrian density and unfavorable physical configuration of street. Thus street should be designed carefully supposing possible situations. But existing studies for pedestrian movement mostly concerned with the estimating pedestrian level of service. From these, this study developed a dynamic pedestrian model in commercial area using Multi-Agent theory which is capable of dealing with every walker’s behavior and handling with dynamic interactions among individual pedestrian movement. After verifying the model, two kinds of simulation were carried out. The first simulation concluded that two meters recession of construction line of new shopping mall building is effective and economic solution to keep the pedestrian environment safe and comfortable. The second simulation was about street event that acts as an obstacle to the walkers. As changing the event size, the variation of pedestrian density was examined. Through the simulation, the multi-agent pedestrian model and simulation system proved its usefulness for planners to examine and prepare reasonable solutions to keep safe and comfortable pedestrian environment. 키 워 드 보행자 행동모형, 멀티에이전트이론, 시뮬레이션, 보행환경Keywords Pedestrian Model, Multi-Agent Theory, Simulation, Pedestrian Environment
