        한국 요양시설을 이용하는 직장인 가족의 노인 돌봄 부담감에 영향을 미치는 요인

        The purpose of this study was to identify factors influencing elderly care burden of a working family. Methods: A descriptive correlational design was used. Participants was 153 family member of elderly at five nursing facilities. Data were collected through self-reported questionnaires from July to October 2019. Data were analyzed using an independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis with the SPSS WIN 25.0 program. Analysis result, explaining 20,8% of the variance, which indicated that subjects for giving care, monthly admission fee, burden of expenses, and satisfaction for fee service were significant predictors of working family’s care burden. Various individual characteristics significantly influenced working family’s care burden in aspects of emotional, social, economical, and physical burdens. Therefore, interventions to decrease working family’s care burden must focus on their individual factors. 본 연구의 목적은 직장인을 대상으로 요양시설 노인의 돌봄 부담감을 조사하고 이에 영향을 미치는 특성들을 파악하는 것이다. 연구방법은 서술적 상관관계 연구로 5개 요양시설에 노인을 입소시킨 153명의 직장인 가족이었다. 자료는 2019년 7월부터 10월까지 자가보고형 설문지를 통해 수집하였다. 자료는 SPSS WIN 25.0 프로그램을 이용하여 독립표본 t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation, 그리고 hierarchical multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 직장인 가족의 노인 돌봄 부담감에 유의하게 영향을 미치는 요인은 노인과의 관계, 요양비 부담정도, 요양시설 서비스에 대한 만족으로 나타났으며 이들의 설명력은 20.8%였다. 또한 직장인 가족의 노인 돌봄 부담감에 유의하게 영향을 미치는 개인의 특성들을 심리적, 사회적, 경제적 및 신체적 부담영역별로 확인하였으며 이러한 결과는 돌봄 가족의 부담감을 줄이기 위한 중재방안에 활용될 수 있다.

        Belsky의 모델에 기반한 부모역할 교육 프로그램의 효과

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of parent's role education program based on Belsky's model on parenting stress and adolescent child’s self-concept. Methods: The study design was a mixed methods study combined with a nonequivalent control group and a pretest-posttest and a qualitative study. The subjects were 37 mothers and their adolescent children who were attending in three middle schools in cities (19 in the experimental group and 18 in the control group). The experimental group was admitted parent's role education program consisted with 12 sessions during 6 weeks. In addition, 11 subjects in the experimental group participated in an in-depth interviews. Data were analyzed using SPSS/Win 24.0 program and content analysis. Results: After the intervention, there were significant improvements for the experimental group in adolescents’ self concept and parenting stress compared to the control group. Qualitative data obtained from depth interview were resulted in five themes: Realization of the preciousness of parenting; Looking at myself through my child’s eyes; Recovery of the boundary of self; Formation of confidence about parenting; Having a new identity as a parent. Conclusion: This study demonstrated that the parent's role education program for adolescents’ mother can be a useful mental health nursing. This school based intervention program could be a part of a long-term adolescent mental health initiative to support the parents of adolescent children.

        폭력 피해 경험이 아동· 청소년의 정신건강에 미치는 영향: 자아개념의 매개효과 분석

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to clarify mediating effects of self-concept on mental health of children andadolescents who fell victim to violence. Methods: A survey was conducted on 4th, 5th, and 6th graders from 2elementary schools and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year students from 3 middle schools (n=2,391). Data were analyzedusing descriptive statistics and AMOS. Results: The mean scores of mental health and self-concept in the subjectswere 4.5 and 184.9 respectively. The rate of poor mental health in students who had fallen victim to violence wasmore than twice as high as that in students who had never experienced it. The self-concept of students who experiencedviolence had a tendency to decline. Violence experience and self-concept accounted for 47.7%(43.0%for boys and 53.4% for girls) of the changes in mental health. The indirect mediating effects of self-concept weresignificant. Conclusion: Based on the findings, the following is suggested. Schools should offer a self-conceptimprovement program for students with a distorted self-concept caused by falling victim to violence. It could helpsuch adolescents have a positive self image and improve their mental health.

        Correlations Between Parenting Stress and Adolescents’ Depression, Coping Responses, and Self-Concept

        This descriptive study aimed to explore the correlations between mothers’ parenting stress and adolescents’ coping responses, depression, and self-concept. Methods: Participants were 320 adolescents and their parents. The adolescents completed Self-concept Scale, Coping Responses, and Depression Scale-2, and their parents completed Parenting Stress Scale. Results: The adolescents used approach coping frequently and their depression was 54.87(±14.06). However, adolescents’ approach coping and overall self-concept were negatively correlated with parenting stress, and were significantly correlated with parenting stress in both mothers and fathers including depression. Mothers’ and fathers’ mean parenting stress scores and patterns were similar, but relationship patterns for parenting stress and adolescents’ Seeking Guidance subscale scores differed between mothers and fathers. Conclusion: These findings could be useful in supporting school-based mental health services for adolescents, through the development of parenting roles.

        전염병 유행 시기 중학생의 COVID-19 인식과 개인위생 실천의 관계에서 자아개념의 매개효과

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of self-concept on the relationship between middle school students' perception of COVID-19 and personal hygiene practices. Students in grades one to three of middle schools located in two cities in Gyeongnam were made to understand the purpose of this study and both they and their parents agreed to participate. There were 130 final study subjects. The data collection period was from May 2021 to August 2021. There was a significant correlation observed between the study variables. Further, it was seen that self-concept had a mediating effect on the relationship between the perception of COVID-19 and personal hygiene practices. Since this study confirmed that improving the middle school students' positive self-concept could help improve their personal hygiene practices, it is recommended that such studies be repeated and their results used to formulate a school health program that can improve the development of middle school students' self-concepts and ability to cope with infectious diseases. 본 연구는 중학생의 COVID-19 인식이 개인위생 실천에 미치는 영향에서 자아개념의 매개효과를 파악한 연구이다. 연구대상자는 경남지역 2개의 시에 소재한 일반 중학교의 1학년에서 3학년에 재학 중이며 연구목적을 이해하고 부모와 학생 모두 연구 참여를 수락한 학생으로 최종 연구대상자는 130명이었다. 자료수집은 2021년 5월부터 2021년 8월까지 실시되었다. 연구결과 중학생의 COVID-19 인식, 개인위생 실천, 자아개념은 유의한 상관관계가 있었으며, COVID-19 인식과 개인위생 실천의 관계에서 자아개념은 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 긍정적인 자아개념을 향상시키는 것이 중학생의 개인위생 실천을 향상하는데 도움이 될 수 있음을 확인하였으므로 추후 본 연구결과를 토대로 반복연구를 시도하고 중학생의 자아개념 발달과 전염병에 대한 대처능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 학교보건프로그램을 개발하여 그 효과를 확인해 볼 것을 제안한다.

        우리나라 요양시설 입소노인 주 돌봄자의 우울에 대한 융복합 연구

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the depression of the main caregivers for the elderly in Korea by using a descriptive survey study. A total of two hundred eight participants who admitted at five nursing homes located in G city were analyzed using SPSS 25.0. There was a significant difference in depression according to general characteristics: higher level in extended family in family type. Participants showed significantly higher level of depression in cases of less than five years’ hospitalization periods or Decision maker of elderly’s hospitalization high level burden for expenses among caring related characteristics. They also had higher level of depression in cases of high level burden for expenses. less than 60 minute in commuting time, or non-satisfaction for nursing home service among caring related characteristics. Although we need more evidences through future studies, the findings from this study will be useful in the development of nursing intervention program for reducing the depression of the main caregivers for elderly population. 본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 요양시설 입소노인의 주 돌봄 제공자의 우울 정도를 조사하고 이에 영향을 미치는 관련요인을 파악하기 위해 시도되었다. 연구방법은 서술적 조사연구로, G도에 위치한 5개의 요양시설 입소노인의 주 돌봄자를 대상으로 시행되었으며 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 25.0 progiam을 이용하여 208명의 설문지를 분석하였다. 연구결과 요양시설 입소노인 주 돌봄자의 우울에 차이를 보인 특성은 확대가족인 경우, 요양시설 입소 기간이 5년 미만이며 입소 결정자가 가족이며 입소비용이 많고, 요양시설까지의 거리가 1시간 이내, 요양시설 서비스에 만족하지 못할 때 우울 정도에 유의한 차이를 보였다. 따라서 향후 요양시설 입소노인 주 돌봄자의 우울 경감을 위한 간호중재 프로그램의 개발과 적용에 유용한 기초자료가 되리라 본다.

        Effects of a School-Based Intervention Program for Middle School Adolescent Girls with Depression: As Part of the School Health Services

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of a school-based intervention program for middle school adolescent girls with depression. Methods: The study was a pretest–posttest repeated-measure design with a nonequivalent control group. Fifty eight students with depressive symptoms were recruited from two middle schools in Seoul, Korea. The data were collected from the intervention (n=30) and the comparison group (n=28). The research instrument was Reynolds Adolescent Depression Scale. Results: The intervention group greatly improved from baseline to 10 weeks and then saw a slight positive change between 10 and 13 weeks. Conclusion: The results of this research show that depression intervention programs are effective for young female adolescents. Thus the investigation has important school-based treatment implications, and should be integrated into school curriculums by school health nurses for early intervention of depressive symptoms in middle school adolescent girls.

        청소년 우울 측정을 위한 CES-D와 RADS-2-K 도구의 비교

        본 연구는 지금까지의 국내 청소년 우울연구가 국외에서 수십 년 전에 개발되어 한국어로 번역된 도구를 사용하여 우리나라 청소년의 우울 증상을 제대로 반영하고 있는지에 대한 평가가 필요하다고 여겨져 국내에선 처음으로 청소년 우울 도구로써의 타당성 여부를 확인하였다. 청소년 우울 연구에 사용되고 있는 한국판 CES-D 도구와 RADS-2-K를 비교 및 분석한 결과 청소년 우울 특성의 반영 정도와 우울 관련 변인들에 따른 우울 수준의 차이를 확인하였으며 임상적 진단기준이나 청소년과 성인 간의 우울의 차이점을 충분히 반영하지 못하고 있음을 확인하였다. 이는 추후 우리나라 청소년을 위한 우울 도구 개발에 중요한 기초자료가 되리라 본다. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the scales to measure depression of adolescents. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted with the instruments of CES-D and RADS-2-K as adolescent depression scales. The participants were 1217 adolescents who were at two middle schools located in cities in South Korea. Data were analyzed by using SPSS 21.0. And all item of both instruments was analysed by content analysis. Results: The study results revealed that two instruments conducted different results for the number of depression students, depression level by subjects’ characteristics, and item distribution by contents analysis. There were total 194 students in depression group, including 132 students from CES-D and 183 students from RADS-2-K. In each scale, there were many items in some subcategories, but there was no item in other subcategories. Conclusion: In this study, CES-D showed less sensitivity than RADS-2-K at depression level by related factors of adolescent depression, and both scales had no items for three subcategories in adolescent depression and one subcategories in general depression. The researcher suggest that the future study to evaluate the validate of adolescent depression scales will be useful for helping adolescents with depression.

        미혼여성 간호사의 희망감에 영향을 미치는 요인: 대인관계와 전문직 자아개념을 중심으로

        This study was done to examine interpersonal relations, professional self-concept and hope in single female nurses. A survey using a structured questionnaire was conducted with 219 nurses who work in one of six general hospitals in the large cities. The data were collected from August 17, 2012 to September 14, 2012. Collected data were analyzed using t-test, One way ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, Hierarchical Regression Analysis with using SPSS Windows 25.0. There was a significant difference in interpersonal relations, professional self-concept and hope according to participants’ characteristics. Participants’ interpersonal relations, professional self-concept and hope were all found to have statistically significant correlations (r=.26-.45, p<.001). Participants’ general characteristics, interpersonal relations, and professional self-concept explained 26.4% of variance in hope levels. Findings from this study should be useful in the development of programs to promote participants’ hope with interpersonal relations and professional self-concept. 본 연구는 미혼여성 간호사의 대인관계능력, 전문직 자아개념 및 희망감의 정도와 상관관계를 확인하고, 대상자의 희망감에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 파악하기 위한 것이다. 자료수집은 대도시 6개 종합병원에서 일하는 미혼여성 간호사 219명을 대상으로 2012년 8월 17일부터 2012년 9월 14일까지 실시되었다. 자료분석은 SPSS Windows 25.0으로 t-test, One way ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, Hierarchical Regression Analysis를 이용하였다. 연구결과 대상자의 일반적 특성에 따라 대인관계, 전문직 자아개념, 그리고 희망감의 점수는 차이가 있었다. 연구대상자의 대인관계, 전문직 자아개념, 그리고 희망감 간에는 유의한 상관관계가 있었다(r=.26-.45, p<.001). 연구대상자의 일반적 특성, 대인관계, 그리고 전문직 자아개념의 희망감에 대한 설명력은 26.4%로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 간호사의 대인관계 및 전문직 자아개념과 함께 희망감을 향상시키기 위한 프로그램 개발에 활용될 수 있다.
