The Progress and development of technology occurring since the 20th century has improved the quality of life of most people. However, serious energy problems have arisen as a result of this lifestyle of convenience and prosperity. These problems have already stared to threaten the very survival of human beings. Architecture and energy are no longer separate concepts. They are now considered as coexisting subject areas. The mutual relevance of energy, technology and architecture is expected to be more emphasized in the future. This study is concerned with the skin design of intelligent housing, which defines the external and infernal boundary. Applicable design techniques are suggested. The purpose of his study is to classify intelligent skin technologies and applications, and to grasp the design characteristics, advantages and disadvantages, as well as design techniques of each items related to Housing. This study will also suggest application techniques that can be used as basic data for determining an appropriate skin type when designing single buildings.

Since the Intelligent Building was first introduced in early 1980s, It has been studied and designed by related technical experts as it was called by the name of intelligent Building, High-tech Intelligence Building, High-capacity Building, Intellectual Building, etc. Despite the need for new concept as the relation between global environment and architecture has become an issue on a full scale since 1990s and with the development of high technology, former concept is maintained without modification or complement. Especially, attempt to combine industrial technology with architecture is essential to Intelligent Building, therefore frequent opportunity of self-innovation according to the development of technology is necessary. Due to the rarity of the high-technology and its high cost, it was adopted to large-scale construction, however, nowadays, almost all kinds of buildings are getting designed with intelligent-technology. Therefore we can expect that this trend will be accelerated by evolution of technology and will position as a major stream of future architecture along with environment-friendly architecture. Through this process, we should fully be aware of the importance of the several intelligent skin technology to protect global environment and to set future direction in architecture.

The building integrated photovoltaic(BIPV) system has a double advantage that it reduces costs for exterior materials and PV panels. It allows the construction of a low-energy building without the need for the additional installation space. At the construction planning stage, however, it requires sufficient evaluation on the efficiency and performance. This study was performed to promote the distribution of photovoltaic power generation system by estimating the potential photovoltaic power generation capacity of the BIPV system installed on the university lecture building and by evaluating the characteristics and performances of window, spandrel and combined attachment types via the simulation of generation capacity per unit area.

The current method used to recycle waste, which is responsible for more than 30% of methane generation, has limitations, including the combustion stage, which can cause additional environmental pollution during the recycling process. In addition, as the amount of waste synthetic resin entering landfills increases due to the activation of delivery services, the government has advocated the need to minimize the incineration and landfilling of waste synthetic resin. In this study, we propose 1) an eco-friendly way to resource landfill gas and waste synthetic resin generated in landfills by introducing a pyrolysis method using Ni-based catalysts, and 2) a network system that can environmentally utilize hydrogen, carbon, and carbon dioxide generated through the pyrolysis method. Finally, 3) we attempted to quantitatively calculate the environmental benefits of applying the proposed network to the Cheongju Metropolitan Landfill. Accordingly, a plan to utilize Ni-based catalysts, which have a methane conversion rate of about 1.5 times that of Si-based catalysts, was proposed, and the hydrogen generated in the process can be utilized as a fuel cell, and carbon and carbon dioxide can be utilized by establishing a carbon/carbon dioxide industry cluster around the landfill, which can bring environmental and economic benefits to the local government. As a result of applying the proposed network to the Cheongju Metropolitan Landfill, it was found that using hydrogen fuel cells to operate vehicles in the intercity bus terminal can reduce the use of fossil fuels by about 12,846.2 liters per day, which can reduce carbon dioxide by about 67 tons per month. The study also showed that if a C/CO2 industry cluster is built using the surrounding land, it can be used to reduce dependence on high carbon imports and lay the foundation for building a carbon-independent city. The results of this study can be applied to other local governments with landfills and are expected to help them achieve carbon neutrality and build carbon-independent cities.

The color which stimulates the visual perception of a human is not only able to affect the human's spatial feeling according to its usage but also a very effective means in order to express the user's preference and individuality. According to the scholar on the color (L. Cheskin), a human's response to the image is rather rational about the form but is very sensual to the color. Like this, the color is considered to be more important than any other elements in a human's visual perception and sensual aspect. For now, recognizing the importance of the color plan, a lot of research on the color scheme related with color effects has been done, but it is the reality that there are few researches on the visual perception effects of color using digital space. Therefore, it is considered to be necessary for us to exam and study about the visual perception effects of color that affect the color plan in architecture. This paper intends to give basic information for digital color plan in future by deriving excellence of visual perception effects of color through the analysis of color theories and questionnaires. The questionnaires and the results of the research were done by using digital simulation after dividing the visual perception effects of color into a psychological effect, a spatial effect, and a gaze leading effect.
귀화식물, 돼지풀(Ambrosia artemisiifolia)의 초기군락유형

At the area of Ragweed(Ambrosia artemisiifolia) dominated Kyongsan, Yeongcheon and Taegu city we made the vegetation table based on Braun-Blanquet method on 100 plots from April to October 1999. Through the interspecies affinities, DECORANA and TWINSPAN methods we anlized the developing ragweed vegetation and soil properties of investigated plots. Communities of the investigated area were Ambrosia artemisiifolia community, Humulus japonicus community, Setaria viridis community, Artemisia princeps-Erigeron conadensis community, Amphicarpaea edgeworthii community, Echinochloa crus-galli community, Ambrosia artemisiifolia-Artemisia princeps community, Erigeron conadensis-Ambrosia artemisiifolia community, Tagetes minuta-Ambrosia artemisiifolia community, Artemisia princeps community and Miscanthus sacchariflorus community, and the number of species comosed were 108. Coverage of the herb layers were 85 - 100%. Soil properties of investigated area were pH 6.91, 1.05% of organic matter, 0.048cmol/kg of K, 2.57cmol/kg of Ca, and 5.57cmol/kg of Mg. Contents of Mn, Fe, Cu, Zn and Cr were under the level of natural contents. Through the interspecies affinities analysis it showed 1 big species group of Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Humulus japonicus and 57 species. The whole investigated area with 20 sites were divided into 3 communities by the methods of classification and ordination.
Plasminogen kringle (angiostatin) 분획의 유효부분 분석

In order to inhibit the growth of the malignant tumor, the development of various drugs against the malignant tumors has been archived. The combination of these drugs made the tumor therapy possible, but in many cases, secondary matastasis of the tumor to the other organs after its removal has been frequently reported. The angiostain, recently purified and cloned, not only promtes the angiogenesis of the tumor itself in the primary tumor but also inhibits the angiogenesis and metastasis of the secondary tumors. In this study, the nucleic acid sequences of the angiostatin was investigated. And the angiostain gene was expressed in a prokayotic expression system(E. coli) and a eukayotic expression system(Pichia pastoris). The angiostain gene was futher subcloned into 6 clones to characterize its biological activity. In the near future the biological activity and the biochemical property of the protein encoded by each clone will be elucidated.
