박근혜 대통령의 시대적 임무에 대한 인식을 총체적으로 보여주는 표현은 ‘국민행복시대의 완성’이라고 볼 수 있다. 이를 위해 세부적으로 안전, 경제부흥, 복지국가, 경제민주화 등을 추구했다. 박근혜 정부의 경찰관련 중요 국가정책으로 ① 성폭력, ② 가정폭력, ③ 학교폭력, ④ 불량식품 등과 같은 4대 사회악 근절이었다. 이에 따른 경찰의 치안정책으로 ‘여성청소년수사팀 확대 정책’, ‘성폭력분야 전담수사체계 정책’, ‘불량식품 단속을 위한 액센트 단속 정책’등을 추진하였다. 박근혜 정부의 범죄추세를 민주화 시대 이후 역대정부와 비교한 결과는 다음과 같다. 민주화 시대가 개막된 이후의 총범죄 증가율은 김영삼 정부는 17.8% 증가, 김대중 정부 7.1% 증가, 노무현 정부 3.1% 감소, 이명박 정부 1.0%가 감소, 박근혜 정부 0.42% 감소하였다. 총범죄율은 이승만 정부부터 김대중 정부까지는 지속적으로 증가하였다. 노무현 정부와 이명박 정부부터 증가세가 감소되었으며, 이러한 추세는 박근혜 정부에서도 이어졌다. 인구10만 명당 범죄발생율은 김영삼 정부 5.7% 증가, 김대중 정부 17.6% 증가, 노무현 정부 7.9% 감소, 이명박 정부 5.6% 감소, 박근혜 정부 3.27% 감소로 나타났다. 경찰관 수의 변화에 있어서 김영삼 정부의 경찰관수는 처음으로 3%가 감소하였다. 김대중 정부 경찰관수는 1.33% 증가, 노무현 정부 경찰관수는 4.7% 증가, 이명박 정부의 경찰관수는 4.9%가 증가, 박근혜 정부의 경찰관수는 8.83%로 가장 큰 폭으로 증가하였다. This Study considers the Police Policy and Crime Trends in South Korea from 2013-2017. The data that we has analyzed for was obtained from official crime statistics, “Analytical Report on Crime,” which was published by the Korean Police. We analyzed Park Guen-hye presidential term from 2013 to 2017. The slogan of Park Geun-hye administration as a whole showing the perception of the duty of the times can be seen as the completion of the era of National Happiness. To this end, Park Geun-hye government pursued safety, economic revival, welfare state and economic democratization in detail. The most important national policies related to the police of Park Geun-hye administration were ① sexual violence, ② domestic violence, ③ school violence, and ④ defective food. As a result, the police policy in this term had been promoted as the expansion of the female juvenile investigation team, the policy of dedicated investigative system in the field of sexual violence, and the policy of controlling accidents for cracking down on defective food. The results of the comparison of the crime trends in Park Geun-hye term with the previous government since the era of democratization are as follows. Since the beginning of the democratization era, the rate of total crime has increased by 17.8%, Kim Dae Jung government increased by 7.1%, Roh Moo Hyun government has decreased by 3.1%, Lee Myung Bak government has decreased by 1.0% and Park Geun Hye government has decreased by 0.42%. The total crime rate continuously increased from the Rhee government to the Kim Dae-jung administration. The growth rate has decreased since the Roh Moo-hyun administration and the Lee Myung-bak administration, and this trend has continued in the government. The incidence of crime per 100,000 population increased by 5.7% in the Kim Young-sam government, 17.6% in the Kim Dae-jung government, 7.9% in the Roh Moo-hyun government, 5.6% in the Lee Myung-bak government and 3.27% in the government. The number of police officers in the Kim Young-sam government decreased by 3% for the first time in changing the number of police officers. The number of government police officers in Kim Dae-jung increased by 1.33 percent, the number of police officers in Roh Moo-hyun increased by 4.7 percent, the number of police officers in the Lee Myung-bak government increased by 4.9 percent, and the number of police officers in Park Geun - Hye increased by 8.83 percent.
