선박용 GPS 플로터의 위치정보 추출을 통한 항적 데이터 분석 방법

대형 선박의 경우 규격화 되어 있는 VDR(Voyage Data Recorder)이 의무적으로 설치되어 있으며, 사고 발생 시 백업데이터를 저장하고 있는 캡슐화된 메모리가 심해에서 신호를 보내는 등 데이터를 확보·해석하기 용이한 장점이 있다. 하지만 낚시 배와 같은 소형 선박의 경우 표준화된 VDR장치가 설치되어 있지 않으며, 어획 어종의 출몰지역 및 그물을 설치해 놓은 위치를 표시해 놓은 GPS 플로터를 사용하고 있다. 소형 선박에 사용되는 GPS 플로터는 기록되는 데이터의 종류도 한정적이고, GPS 플로터 상에 표시해 놓은 어군 출몰지역, 어장 위치 등을 개인의 재산으로 보는 경향이 있어 공개되기를 기피하다 보니 데이터가 표준화 되어 있지 않다. 소형 선박 사고에 있어서 사고의 위치, 당시 항적, 사고 시각 등을 추정하기 위해 본 연구에서는 역공학 방법으로 데이터를 해석해나가는 방법을 선택하였다. In the case of large ships, a standardized Voyage Data Recorder (VDR) is mandatory, so it is easy to secure and interpret data because the encapsulated memory storing backup data sends signals from the deep sea when an accident occurs. However, small ships such as fishing boats do not have standardized VDR devices installed, and they use marine navigation chart plotter which indicates haunting areas of the fish species and the location where nets are installed. The problem is that these marine navigation chart plotter are not standardized, and that the type of data to be recorded is limited. Also, it is difficult to disclose the locations of fishing grounds or fisheries marked on marine navigation chart plotter because they tend to be viewed as personal property. So the data is not standardized. When a small ship accident occurs, it is necessary to estimate the location and the time of the accident and the wake of the boat. To estimate them, this study chose the method of analyzing the data by reverse engineering method after purchasing the same equipment as the requested Marine navigation chart plotter.
