제7차 교육과정에 따른 중학교 1학년 과학(물리영역)교과서의 분석

This study treats the analysis on the physics domain of the science textbooks of the 7th grade in the 7th curriculum. The purposes of this study are to know whether the contents are stated suitably for the inquiring activities or not, and to know whether the contents and materials in the textbooks are proper to achieve educational objectives or not. Science textbooks of the 7th grade in the 7th curriculum are composed of coloring spaces. Each chapter of the books is composed of a fundamental course, a deepening course, and a supplementary course, and more than 2 coloring pictures or diagrams on each page. The number of inquiring activities is increased by 64% and the number of sentences of text is decreased by 15%, compared to the science textbooks in the 6th curriculum. Quantitative analyses on the science textbooks in the 7th curriculum are done by the Romey's methods. The average rating index T on text is 0.27, index PD on figures and diagrams is 0.90, and index Q, related with the questions at the ends of the chapter, is 1.31.
