본 연구는 화인자본의 형성과정과 특성을 고찰하고 화인자본과 한국경제와의 관계를 규명하여 결론적으로 한국경제의 글로벌화의 방안을 도출하고자 한다. 한국은 지금까지 차이나타운이 없는 유일한 국가라는 오명을 입고 있으나 오는 10월 서울에서 제8차세계화상대회를 개최하는 등 화인자본에 대한 인식을 새로이 하고 있다. 화인자본은 1997년 한국의 금융․외환위기 당시에도 미․일 자본에 비하여 상당히 안정적인 것으로 입증된 바 있다. 한국 거주 화교인구의 감소원인은 전적으로 한국의 화교 차별정책에 기인하였으며, 한국인과 한국 거주 화교 두 그룹간의 화교자본의 역할에 대한 의식조사에서 차별적 견해가 매우 뚜렷하였다. 다양한 방법으로 화인네트워크를 활용하여 자본이동이 안정적인 화인자본의 한국 내 유치와 한국기업의 중화권 진출을 도모하여 한국경제의 글로벌화를 모색하여야 할 것이다. The purpose of this study is to review the making process and characteristics of the overseas Chinese capital and to find the strategies of globalization in Korea's economy. Although Korea is the only country that doesn't have China town in the world, recently it has an interest in Chinese capital and will be a host of the 8th World Chinese merchant Festival in Seoul this year. The Chinese people in Korea has been decreasing due to Korea's discriminative treatment against them. The difference of consciousness about a role of chinese capital between Chinese people in Korea and Korean people was so big. Korea should try to pursue its globalized economy through Chinese network to import and export foreign direct investment.

The purpose of this study was to examine ⑴ the relationship between the occupational structure of mothers and their children's conformity and ⑵ the relationship between the occupational structure of mothers and their childrearing attitudes. The subjects were 40 pupils (4 th, 5 th, 6 th graders) and their working mothers. A questionnaire was given to the mothers to determine mother's perception of the degree of self-direction in their occupations and their childrearing attitudes. A standardized conformity experiment by KukNam Cho was used to examine the children's conformity. The data was analyzed with t-test. The results were as follows. ⑴ There were significant differences in the conformity of children of high selfdirected mother as compared with the children of low selfdirected mother. ⑵ There was no significant difference between mother's occupational structure and their childrearing attitudes.
