A Study on the Improvement of Retrieval Efficiency Based on the CRFMD

최근 수년 동안 영상자료와 음성자료 분석에 대한 이론들이 텍스트자료 검색 시스템과 함께 사용되기 위해서 제안되어 왔으며 데이터 처리 속도의 급격한 향상과 함께 발전되어 왔다. 일반적 검색 방법들은 단지 텍스트만을 사용하지만 텍스트와 그림을 동시에 사용하는 검색 방법 또한 최근에 제안되어 왔다. 본 연구는 다매체자료의 공통기술표현포맷(CRFMD)이라는 이름으로 화상자료와 텍스트자료를 하나의 자료 구조로 통합하는 방법을 제안하고 있으며, 주어진 테스트자료에 대한 화상자료의 유사성 분석에서 텍스트와 그림의 형태소를 함께 사용하였을 때 현격히 개선되어 짐을 보여주고 있다. CRFMD는 의료문서 검색, WWW 검색, 박물관 소장품 검색과 같은 다양한 분야의 다매체자료 검색 및 처리에 응용될 수가 있을 것이다. In recent years, theories of image and sound analysis have been proposed to work with text retrieval systems and have progressed quickly with the rapid progress in data processing speeds. This study proposes a common representation format for multimedia documents (CRFMD) composed of both images and text to form a single data structure. It also shows that image classification of a given test set is dramatically improved when text features are encoded together with image features. CRFMD might be applicable to other areas of multimedia document retrieval and processing, such as medical image retrieval, World Wide Web searching, and museum collection retrieval.

CRM 기법을 이용한 대학도서관 경영개선에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 P대학도서관 이용자 만족도와 요구사항 등을 설문조사를 통해 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 바탕으로 CRM기법을 적용하여 이용자의 요구를 충족시킬 수 있는 방안을 마련하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위하여 P대학 구성원을 대상으로 응답자 기본정보, 소장자료, 자료이용, 홈페이지, 이용자서비스, 시설/환경의 6가지 영역으로 구성하여 설문조사를 실시하여 분석하였다. 연구결과를 요약해 보면 첫째, 만족도조사에서 자료이용 부분이 가장 높게 나타났고, 시설환경 부분이 가장 낮게 나타났다. 자료이용에서는 희망도서 신청 자료를 신속히 구입 및 정리하여 제공하고, 예약도서에 대한 캠퍼스 간 대출이 필요하다. 둘째, 홈페이지에서는 OPAC의 검색시스템과 예약시스템 기능 개선이 필요하고, 자주 이용하는 기능에 대한 메뉴 재배치도 필요하다. 셋째, 이용자서비스에서는 도서관 행사를 더욱 확대하고, 문제점으로 지적되는 행사 안내와 홍보를 강화할 수 있는 방안(SMS, Push 등)을 마련할 필요가 있다. 넷째, 시설환경에서는 개인 및 그룹 학습공간의 부족, 사물함 부족, 환기 및 냉난방 관리 문제, 화장실 시설관리 불만 (휴지 부족 등) 도서관의 지리적 접근성 부족, 외부이용자 관리 등에 대한 불만을 개선할 수 있는 정책이 필요하다. The user satisfaction and needs of an academic library were caught through a questionnaire survey in this study. The aim of this study is to draw up the CRM based plan for meeting user needs on the study. The users' demographic information, library resources & their use, homepage, services, and facilities/environment of the library were categorized in the questionnaire and analyzed for this study. The major conclusions of this study are: (1) The library resources use was the highest, and its facilities/environment was the lowest in the user satisfaction study. It also revealed that there are much necessities for the quick acquisition and dissemination of the requested material to the library users, and for the inter-library loan (ILL) services among campuses for the subscription books in the library resources use study, too; (2) There are a lot of necessities for the improvement of OPAC retrieval and the subscription books system, and menu rearrangement in the library homepage; (3) There are a lot of necessities for the plans of more frequent library event, more detailed event guidance, and more reinforcement of public relations such as SMS, push services of SDI etc. in the library user services; and (4) There are a lot of necessities for the improved policies to the complaints of library users such as the lack of common study place and lockers, air conditioning and heating problem, complaints about facilities management of restroom (lack of toilet paper), library accessibility on campus, unauthorized user management etc. in the facilities/environment of the library.

관종별 도서관의 주요지표 비교를 통한 대학도서관 경쟁력 제고 방안

The major indicating data of academic, public, and school libraries which were mentioned in the Korea library yearbook 1998 through 2007 were collected for this study. The results were analyzed and the methods that may be applied to a library management were presented in this paper. The collected data were analyzed by using the MS-excel and SPSS. The numbers of libraries, personnels, collections and their used ones, users, management budget were used for the variables of this study, and the correlation coefficients and non-parametric method etc. were used for the variable analysis. The results show that public and school libraries are growing consistently, but academic ones get stagnant currently.

컨조인트 분석을 이용한 대학 도서관 기능요소의 부분가치 추정

본 연구에서는 상품요소의 부분가치 추정 모형인 컨조인트 분석을 사용하여 대학 도서관 이용자 관점에서의 기능요소 중요도를 측정하였다. 주요 변수들을 선별하기 위해 자문집단을 구성하여 대학 도서관의 여러 가지 기능을 선별하였고, 자료수집을 위해 대도시의 한 대학에 재학중인 학부학생 200여명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석결과 전통적으로 인식되어 온 도서관 4대 요소들 가운데 그 중요도를 재확인하는 요소도 있었지만, 이용자의 측면에서 중요하게 생각하는 새로운 변수들도 발견되었고, 그 중요도가 모형에 의해 산출되었다. 이러한 결과는 최근 대학도서관이 추구하는 이용자 중심 운영에 많은 참고가 될 것으로 사료된다. In this conjoint analysis, the objectives of the research are to derive structural part-worth level estimations by the conjoint factors and individual levels from the university library functional factors. The major findings of this study are; (1) The level of temperature of the library is statistically the most important one for the research samples, and (2) Facility factors and its levels as well as operation factors and its levels are statistically shown as less important variables.

도시지역과 군지역에 위치한 공공도서관의 자료이용 특성에 관한 비교연구 - 경남지역 4개 공공도서관의 대출기록을 중심으로 -

The two urban-area public libraries and two rural ones that are located in the Gyungsangnam-do province were selected for this paper, and the circulation records in 2007 were collected, and both MS-excel and SPSS were used for their analysis. The collected data were categorized into their collection type, circulation frequencies, and subjects. Also the four libraries were compared and analyzed again for the purpose of comparing the characteristics of the public libraries in urban and rural areas. The number of circulated books, lent number, use factor, and the number of publication lapse year were extracted and analyzed using various types of statistical methods such as correlation coefficient and nonparametric chi-square analysis, etc. as well as descriptive ones.

대학생들의 도서관 이용만족도 분석을 통한 대학도서관 발전방안에 관한 연구

The user satisfaction of environmental facilities, collection, library services including webpage, etc. by using KSDC program provided by Korea Social Science Data Center has been analysed in this study. Also, the undergraduate students using P-academic library on December 2017 were sampled and analysed in this study. ANOVA etc. were used for testing wether gender, academic level and major of students affect the satisfaction, and Pearson correlation coefficient was used for testing the relation among the variables in the attached questionnaire. The major conclusions of this study are: (1) The policy development for the library use of male undergraduate students is needed. (2) The special counterplan to improve the user accessibility is needed. (3) Also, environmental facilities is absolutely needed when planning to improve user satisfaction. Besides, the development plan prepared after analysing the user opinions in essay form was suggested in this paper, too. 본 연구에서는 시설환경, 장서, 서비스, 도서관홈페이지 등에 대한 만족도를 한국사회과학데이터연구원에서 제공하는 KSDC 프로그램을 사용하여, P대학도서관을 이용하는 대학생을 대상으로 2017년 12월 회수한 설문지를 분석하였다. 학생들의 성별, 학년, 전공에 따라 어떤 차이를 보이는지 ANOVA 등의 방법을 사용하여 검정하였고, 설문문항 내 변인간 상관관계의 정도를 Pearson 상관계수를 통하여 검정하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면, (1) 남녀의 성별 분석에서 설문조사 참여율도 여학생이 높고, 만족도도 여학생이 높게 나타난 것을 볼 때 남자대학생들을 도서관으로 유인할 수 있는 정책개발이 필요하다. (2) 그룹별 만족도에서 자료이용 부분이 가장 높게 나타났고, 시설환경 부분이 가장 낮게 나타났다. 특히 평균분석에서도 지리적 접근성이 가장 낮게 나타났으므로 이용자 접근성을 높일 수 있는 특별 대책이 필요하다. (3) 또한 상관관계 분석에서 이용자서비스 그룹과 시설환경 그룹이 높은 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으므로 이용자서비스를 계획할 때 반드시 시설환경 부분을 함께 고려할 필요가 있는 것으로 보인다. 이외에도 이용자가 건의한 의견을 분석한 발전방안도 제시되어있다.

도서관 전자책서비스를 실제로 운영하고 있는 사서들에게 전자책 관리와 서비스 방안에 대한 설문조사와 인터뷰를 실시하고 분석하여 전자책의 실제 활용성과 한계성에 대해 알아보았다. 본 연구의 목적은 이를 바탕으로 전자책 이용활성화와 완전한 디지털도서관 구현에 도움을 주는 것이다. The survey and interview about the management of e-book and its service scheme to the librarians who are actually charged with e-book service in libraries were performed and analyzed in this study. The objective of this study was to help the vitalization of e-book use and the realization of complete digital library based on the data.

전문대학도서관의 국내 전자책 이용 실태 연구

The objective of this study is to analyze the actual using status of domestic e-book in the academic library and to help e-book related policy and its vitalization. The web survey of e-book user of A-junior college was conducted to carry out this study. Frequency analysis and descriptive statistics were used for analysing data basically. Also, t-test, ANOVA, non-parametric chi-square, and correlation analysis were used to examine whether there are any significant differences between treatment groups divided by gender, major etc. or not.

대학도서관의 대출기록 분석을 통한 이용조사에 관한 연구

본 연구는 대학도서관의 대출기록 분석 등 이용조사를 통하여 도서관 수서 및 장서관리에 반영함으로써 도서관 경영을 합리적으로 수행할 수 있는 방안을 제시하기 위하여 수행되었다. 2006년 3월에서 2007년 2월 사이에 발생한 C대학도서관의 국내단행본 대출기록 9만7,164건의 데이터를 사용하였으며, 16개 주제와 5개의 이용자 집단(학부생, 대학원생, 교수, 직원, 특별이용자)으로 나누어 연구하였다. 주제와 출판경과년수로 구분하여 분석한 바, 주제 분석을 위해서는 신분별로 이용요인 및 출판경과년수로 상관분석 방법을 이용하였고, 출판경과년수는 이용요인을 중심으로 같은 통계적 분석기법을 사용하였다. This study was prepared for the purpose of suggesting the reasonable method of library management by reflecting it to the library acquisition and collection development through the user survey and analysis of an academic library. The 97,164 circulation records of C-academic library which were occurred between March 2006 and February 2007 were used, and sixteen subjects by five user groups ((1)undergraduate, (2)graduate students, (3)faculties(professors), (4)staffs, and (5)the other users) were surveyed for the study. The subject and the number of publication lapse year were categorized in this study. The non-parametric method and correlation coefficient were used for the analysis of subject part after the use factor and the number of publication lapse year were crossed by their status. Also, the same methods by use factor were used for the analysis of the number of year part.
