This study is to identify the concept of the digital curation, archiving and preservation resulted in the development of digital information resources, and is to suggest the roles and strategies of the digital curation in university library based on the lifecycle information process of the digital information resources and the examples of the digital curation from domestic and aborad. I have designed a curation model and the preservation of the digital resources in university library by using creators, curators, and users who stand on the basis of the lifecycle. As a result, I have built up a system that is to be a basis to share resources and cooperation among universities. 본 연구는 디지털 정보자원의 발전에 따른 보존, 아카이빙, 디지털 큐레이션에 대한 개념을 파악하고, 디지털 큐레이션의 국내 외 사례와 디지털 정보자원의 생명주기 정보처리를 기반으로 대학 도서관에서의 디지털 큐레이션의 역할 및 전략에 대해 제시하고자 하였다. 생명주기를 기반으로 한 생산자, 큐레이터, 이용자의 디지털 큐레이션 관계 모형을 근간으로 하여, 기관 레포지터리인 대학도서관의 디지털 자원에 대한 보존 및 큐레이션 모형을 설계하였다. 그 결과, 대학 간 협력체제와 자원공유에 기초가 되는 디지털 큐레이션 체제를 수립하는 토대를 마련하였다.

전문도서관의 블루오션 창출을 위한 사서업무 영역 다변화

사서직의 업무는 도서관의 패러다임이 전환됨에 따라 그 성격이 함께 변한다고 할 수 있다. 즉 전통적인 정보자료 관리중심의 패러다임에서 소장과 접근의 조화를 강조하는 하이브리드형의 절충형 패러다임으로 변하고 있다. 전문도서관의 블루오션을 창출하기 위하여 내 외부적인 환경변화를 SWOT기법으로 분석하고, 합리적인 도서관 운영을 위하여 ERCR 분석을 하였다. 사서업무 영역의 다변화를 조사하기 위하여 대덕연구단지 전문도서관에 근무하는 사서를 대상으로 하였으며, 문헌조사도 병행하였다. The roles of librarians have been changing with the paradigm shift of libraries. The paradigm of libraries has shifted from a traditional information management-centered way to a hybrid approach emphasizing a balance between collection and access. This study analyzed the internal and external changes of libraries to create Blue Ocean of special libraries by using the SWOT analysis, and adopted ERCR analysis for the reasonable management of libraries. This study researched the various changes of the role of librarians through the literature review and inter-viewing librarians working at the DaeDuck Science Research Complex.

디지털 정보자원의 장기보존 및 접근, 공유, 재사용의 필수조건으로 디지털 큐레이션 정책이 수립되어야 한다. 이를 위하여 영국 디지털 큐레이션 센터 및 8개 연구재단의 디지털 큐레이션 정책과 지원 서비스 사례를 통하여 디지털 정보자원의 생명주기 단계에 따른 큐레이션 정책 프레임워크를 개발하였다. 본고에서 제안한 프레임워크는 국가차원이나 개별 조직차원에서 포괄적인 디지털 정보자원의 큐레이션 정책을 수립하기 위한 기본 틀을 제공할 것으로 기대된다. This study aims at developing a policy framework for a digital curation based on the access, co-ownership, reuse, and long-term preservation of digital information resources. To accomplish this, our study analysed a similar policy and support services of a main UK research institution and the DCC. It selected the main stages of the DCC lifecycle and developed a policy framework accordingly. Such a framework could serve as the basis for both state and individual institutions, and for developing standards and guidelines for a digital curation of digital information resources.
