Considering the trend of international trade environment today, we can perceive double circumstances develop while the formation regional economic integration enlarges despite the reality of the world economy unifying into a multilateral trade system around the WTO. Major countries of the world have concluded positively Free Trade Agreements with others to utilize them. In particular the United States encouraged by the success of the North American Free Trade Agreement, has been pursuing regional economic integration in the Americas with a view to forming a Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA). The purpose of this study perceives the progress of Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement(FTA) to be the present task, and showing a problem and proposal for contracting of FTA with Korea and U.S.

Korean economy has grown through increasing export and finding overseas markets under the circumstances of poor natural resources compared with others, and is in a position to stress trade and attract foreign investment to continue economic development in future. Therefore the purpose of this study perceives the progress of Korea-US Bilateral Investment Treaty to be the present task, and showing a few problems and suggestions for contracting of Bilateral Investment Treaty with Korea and U.S.. The plan for Korea-U.S. Bilateral Investment Treaty(BIT) has been drfting away for over six years. The negotiation talk, which began in mid 1998, soon came to a standstill because of a relatively small issue, the screen quota system in Korea. Criticizing it as unfair discrimination against American movies, the US government claimed that the screen quota should be eliminated or reduced substantially. The government shall present a concrete blueprint and clarify strategies to realize and forward it by leaving the negative and opportunistic attitude.

Launched in the end of march, 2003, e-trade Service Provider is an online B2B marketplace that brings together buyers and sellers from around the globe. In this study, I offered research of e-trading company system that is the supporting system of domestic small & medium sized company and could observe that is trying to propel the e-trade according as general trading companies have e-trade era and existent role is shrunk in advance research. And this study investigates the present status and development of e-Marketplace which is the most actively used in the e-trade stages market research, searching for business partners, negotiations to contract. It also shows the present status and development of e-Marketplace as an e-trading company designated by government, which gives prospect of profitable model of e-Marketplace. This study investigates the improvement and performance in e-trading companies program, I hope that the findings of this study will be a helpful material to government for making policy.
