        의과대학생의 전공과목 선택에 영향을 미치는 요인

        Purpose: We wanted to further analyze the qualities that influence Korean medical students on their decision to choose each of the specialized areas of medicine. Methods: We were able to obtain questionnaires from 394 students of Y University, School of Medicine. The students rated the various influential factors for specialty selection by using a five-point Likert scale. Result: The factors found to influence the selection of popular specialties were gender, grades/scores, lifestyle attributes, and residency issues. Patient contact, lifestyle attributes, prospects, income prospects, and health care policies were significantly rated factors for choosing clinical-oriented specialties. For the selection of Medical specialties, gender, income, social responsibilities, income prospects, and malpractice insurance costs were the influential factors. Gender, 3rd year students, social responsibilities, prospects, income prospects, and society s views on medical profession affected the students decisions to choose the major specialties. Conclusion: Based on the results of our study, we can conclude that gender and income prospects are some of the most significant factors affecting a student s selection of a specialty. These results suggest reform and improvement for a more stable health care policy and management strategies.

        Multilingual Identity in Digital Storytelling: A Case of Migrant Youth at a Korean Alternative School

        This qualitative case study explores multilingual learners’ linguistic practices and how they are interrelated with their identities in the context of a Korean alternative school. The learners are two Chosunjok, and one North Korean refugee child. The data were derived from the learners’ digital storytelling videos, semi-structured interviews, stimulated-recall interviews, and observation field notes. The data were thematically analyzed and organized using Rose’s (2007) sites of visual meaning-making structure. The findings revealed that the learners had different amounts of access to information regarding second language learning, and that they depended on the resources available within the communities they belonged to. Moreover, the participants’ levels of investment in language learning were constructed around their communities and identities. Their attitudes in language learning were also interrelated with the broader English language ideologies in South Korea. By sharing the stories of three multilingual learners, the study provides pedagogical implications on the influence of resources on multilingual learners’ language learning. We emphasize the importance of providing a space for multilingual learners to critically reflect on current and future resources, utilize their full communicative repertoire, and identify ways to increase their affordances of learning.

        결혼이주여성을 대상으로 한 부모교육 프로그램 효과에 대한 체계적 문헌고찰

        연구 목적: 이 연구는 국내 자녀가 있는 결혼이주여성을 대상으로 제공된 부모교육 프로그램 중재 연구들을 체계적으로 검토하여 연구의 일반적 특성을 확인하고 연구들을 통합하여 그 효과를 검토하는데 있다. 연구 방법: 본 연구는 체계적 문헌고찰 연구로써 PRISMA(preferred reporting items for systematic review and meta-analyses) 그룹이 제시한 체계적 문헌고찰 보고지침에 따라 수행되었다. 연구 내용: 최종 포함된 21편의 연구분석 결과, 결혼이주 여성을 대상으로 적용된 부모교육프로그램은 연구결과의 다양성으로 인해 양적합성은 실시하지 못하고 질적으로 분석하였다. 결론 및 제언: 결혼이주 여성을 대상으로 한 부모교육 프로그램은 주요결과변수인 결혼이주여성의 양육관련요인(지식, 태도, 행동, 효능감, 스트레스), 부모역할 만족감과 효능감, 어머니와 영아의 상호작용 증진에 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 평가되었다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect and characteristics of program on parent education with married immigrant women. The study was conducted using the guidelines of the PRISMA (preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses) Group. The final selected 21 literatures was varied in outcome variables. Therefore, it was difficult to quantitatively synthesize and it was analyzed through narrative review. The findings indicate that parent education programs for married immigrant women has positive effect knowledge, attitude, behavior, efficacy, and reduce stress related to rearing. Besides It was evaluated to have a positive effect on the satisfaction and efficacy oh parental roles, and the promotion of mother-infant interation.
