1) 만 12주 8개월간 경험한 총 412예의 난소종양 중 161예(39.1%)가 양성기형종이었고 7예 (1.7%)가 악성기형종이었다. 2) 전례에서 종양이 촉지되었고 3예에서 빈뇨를 호소했으며 수술시 전례에서 복강내 유착을 볼 수 있었고 3예에서 복수를 볼 수 있었다. 3) 수술시까지의 증상기간은 대단히 짧은 편으로 2개월 이내가 3예, 10개월 이낵 2예, 기간 불명이 1예였다. 4) 1예에서 Co60치료를 했으나 경과에 별로 영향을 주지 못했다. 5) 6예 중 2예에서 술후 2개월 이내에 사망하였고 3예에서는 수술후 10개월 이내에 복강내 종양이 촉지되었으며 1예는 퇴원 후 소식이 없었다. We hane observed 7 malignant ovarian teratoma among 412 cases of ovarian tumor extirpated in this institution the period of 12 years and 8 months, from January 1960 to August 1973. Presented here are 6 cases only because for one case the chart is not available. 1) Among 412 cases of ovarian tumor analyzed, 1961 cases were benign cystic teratoma (39.1%) and 7 cases were malignant teratoma. 2) Among teratoma tumor was palpable in all 6 cases. In 3 cases, urinary frequency and ascites were present. On the time of operation, in all cases, peritoneal adhesion was also present. 3) Existence of tumor before operation was 2 months for 3 cases, 10 months. For the remainder, the duration was not known. 4) For one case, 60 CO therapy was administered without success. 5) Two out of 6 cases, died 2 months after oophorectomy and recurrences took placd for the 3 cases 10 months after operation. Lost contact for the remainder.

1) 입원기간은 항생제를 사용한 군에 있어서는 8.3일이었고, 사용하지 아니한 군에 있어서는 6.5일로 현저한 단축을 보았다. 2) Febrile course는 항생제를 사용한 군에 있어서는 24명(16.6%)였고, 사용하지 아니한 군 에 있어서는 26명(17.6%)으로서 유의차를 볼 수 없었다. 3) 합병증은 항생제를 사용한 군에 있어서는 20명(14.0%)였고, 사용하지 아니한 군에 있어 서는 21명(14.7%)으로서 유의차를 볼 수 없었다. The use of a prophylactic antibiotics in elective major gynecology and obstetric operations was evaluated during the period from Jan. 1971 to July 1972 in the Gyn.-Ob. Dept. of Presbyterian Hospital in Taegu. 1) The average duration of admission in the group receiving prophylactic antibiotics was 8.3 days, in the group without antibiotics 6.5 days. 2) The morbidity (Fibrile course) showed 16.6% (24) and 17.6% (26), respectively. 3) The complecations showed 14.0% (20) and 14.7% (21), respectively.
