디자인 평가수법에 있어서 정성적 방법의 제안 공기청정기와 연수기 사례를 중심으로

최근 시대상황의 특징 중 하나가 무한변화의 주기가 매우 빠르다는 것이다. 시장의 흐름과 소비자의 특성이 고려되지 못한 상품은 시장에서 경쟁력과 지속가능성이 결여되어 소비자와 시장으로부터 외면당하게 되며 상품의 수명이 짧아지게 된다. 따라서 디자인 기획단계의 마지막 단계인 디자인 평가단계에서 적절한 수단과 방법의 적용이 무엇보다 중요하다고 볼 수 있다. 에콜로지(Ecology)와 건강한 생활이 이슈가 되고 있는 시점에서 공기청정기와 연수기에 대한 디자인 평가를 사례로 선정하여 소비자의 가치관 및 의식구조 등을 평가척도로 하는 정성적 디자인 평가의 방법을 제안하려 하였다. 설문조사를 통한 기본적인 의식조사를 하였으며, 디자인 목업(Mock-up)을 대상으로 프로토콜분석(발화기법)을 통하여 소비자 의식구조에 의한 평가를 하였으며, 평가 내용을 녹화하여 평가요인으로 활용하였다. 디자인의 주제로는 "효과를 체험할 수 있는 디자인", "신뢰감 있는 디자인"으로 나타났다. 거의 전원의 피 실험자가 공기청정기는 구매 한다 라고 대답했으나 연수기 쪽은 상황을 보고싶다 라고 대답했다. 따라서 공기청정기의 소비자에 대하여는 "얼마나 공기청정의 효과가 있는가를 느낄 수 있게 하는가?", "신뢰하게 할 수 있는가?" 의 필요가 있다. 설문에는 나오지 않았던 가격의식이 인터뷰에는 명확하게 나타나 정성적 사용성 테스트의 중요성이 명확해졌다. 향후, 다양한 아이템에서의 디자인 평가 및 데이터의 축적이 필요하며, 이를 통한 체계적이며 효율적인 디자인 평가수법의 가이드라인 구축에 관한 연구가 지속되어야 할 것이다. One of the characteristics on the recent era situation is the rapid cycle of infinite change. Product which doesn`t consider market flow and consumers` characteristics is ostracized by consumers and market due to the lack of sustainability and market competitive power and the life of product becomes short. Therefore, in the design evaluation stage which is the final stage of design planning, the application of proper method and means is important above all. At this time of ecology and healthy life by selecting the design evaluation cases of air cleaner and softener, qualitative design evaluation method is suggested as the evaluation criterion of consumers` values and mindset. Basic mindset was evaluated by survey and consumers` mindset was evaluated through group interview (igniting conversation technique) with the target of design Mock-up. Plus, evaluation contents were recorded to be used as the evaluation elements. As for the theme of designs, it appeared as "design which provides experience on the effect" and "reliable design." Almost all subjects answered that they bought an air cleaner but answered that they wanted to review the situation. Accordingly, for customers who buy an air cleaner, it is important "what effects the air cleaner give experience on" and "whether it is reliable." As awareness on price which was not shown in the survey appeared in the interview clearly, it emphasized the importance of qualitative usability test. In future, design evaluation and data accumulation of diverse items are needed and building guideline of systematic and effective design evaluation method should be studied continuously through this.

“쉼”의 터전으로서의 공원에 대한 실존론적 분석 -도시공원의 철학적 탐구 가능성에 대하여-

본 논문은 도시 공원에 관한 철학적 함의를 탐구하기 위한 시도이다. 이러한 주제가 철학적으로 다루어 볼 필요가 있는 이유는 첫째로는 철학적인 공간 논의들이 삶의 공간에서 구체적으로 어떠한 의미를 갖는지를 살펴볼 수 있기 때문이다. 이러한 과정 속에서 우리는 기존의 공간에 관한 철학적인 작업들을 받아들이거나 혹은 그 한계를 명확히 규명해 볼 수 있는 가능성을 확보해 볼 수 있다. 둘째는 우리의 삶의 공간에 대한 의미의 다양성을 철학을 통해 재조명해 볼 수 있다는 것이다. 우리는 일반적으로 우리가 살고 거주하는 공간에 대해 어떠한 특정한 시각에서 바라보는 경향이 있다. 현재는 물리학적 혹은 경제적인 측면과 같은 특정한 이론적 방향에서 공간을 해석하고 바라보려는 경향이 매우 강하다. 그러나 인간의 삶의 영역에서 그러한 방향성은 인간의 다양한 문화적 상징의 형식 가운데 하나일 따름이다. 이러한 점을 인정한다면 우리가 살아가는 공간은 다양한 의미로 해석해 볼 수 있는 곳이며 다양한 방향에서 접근해 보는 것이 자연스러워 보인다. 따라서 이러한 작업은 우리의 구체적 삶의 공간이 철학적인 의미에서 어떻게 조명될 수 있고 이러한 관점에서 그 공간은 어떠한 의미가 있는지를 살펴보려는 것이다. 이러한 작업을 수행하기 위하여 본 논문은 공원이 갖는 독특한 공간성에 대해 마르틴 하이데거(M. Heidegger)의 현존재 분석 및 건축학자인 노베르그 슐츠(C. Norberg-Schulz)의 공간론을 바탕으로 살펴보고 해석하여 공원이 갖는 의미를 추적해 볼 것이다. 이를 통해 공원이 갖는 철학적 의미를 파악하고 공원이 인간의 실존적 삶에 어떠한 영향을 미치고 가능성을 부여하는지를 모색해 보려 한다. This paper is aimed at making an attempt to research on the philosophical meanings of the city park. The reason why this topic must be dealt with philosophically is, first of all, that we could examine how the philosophical theories of space is applied to the real space of our life. In this process, we would clearly find such a limitation of existing philosophical works of space. Second, we could illuminate a diversity of life spaces through a philosophical work. We have tended to interpret spaces in a specific point of view. In modern times, we have had a very powerful tendency to interpret a space through such physical and economic aspects. But, in the area of human culture, this aspect is just one of the diverse cultural symbols of humans. If we could accept this position, it is natural that our living spaces have to be translated into a broad variety of meanings. Therefore, from this point of view, I intend to demonstrate how the meaning of our concrete living spaces is reilluminated from the perspective of philosophical theories. For this work, I will attempt to examine a distinctive spatiality of a park on the basis of M. Heidegger`s analysis of Dasein and C. Norberg-Schulz`s theory of space and trace a meaning of a park. I will seek for the possibility of how a park affects the existential living of humans in this paper.

본 논문은 현대 과학적 생명개념의 문제점을 밝히고 새로운 생명개념이 필요하다고 주장한다. 현대 과학적 생명개념은 진화론과 유전자 이론을 바탕에 두고 생물학의 분야를 넘어서 인간의 사회, 정치, 윤리에 관한 학문영역까지 영향을 미치고 있다. 이러한 영향은 단순한 이론적인교류를 넘어선 과학적 생명개념을 통한 환원주의를 표방한다. 따라서 과학적 생명개념은 다양한 학문영역의 토대로 여겨지며 그러한 이론들을포섭하려는 시도를 한다. 그러나 이러한 시도가 과연 정당한가는 검토되어야 할 문제이다. 왜냐하면 과학적 생명개념이 정당한 개념인지가 의문시되기 때문이다. 현대 과학적 생명개념이 분명 진화론과 유전자 이론의발전과 더불어 형성된 개념이라는 것은 분명하지만 이 개념이 앞선 두이론으로부터 명확한 지지를 받을 수 있는 개념인지는 오히려 불분명하다. 그렇기 때문에 본 논문은 이러한 불분명한 점을 밝혀내어 현대 과학적 생명개념이 결코 환원주의적 모델의 토대가 될 수 없으며 오히려 본원적인 생명현상을 사상시키고 있다는 것을 보여주려고 한다. 그리고 새로운 생명개념에 대한 연구 가능성을 어디서 찾을 수 있을지 모색해 볼것이다. The aim of this paper is to disclose the problems of a modern scientific concept of life and to claim that we need to define a new concept of life. The modern scientific concept of life which was based on theories of evolution and gene has exerted an effect on the domains of knowledge of human society, politics and ethics beyond the realm of biology. This effect claims to support reductionism through the modern scientific concept of life, which exceeds simple theoretical exchanges. Therefore, there are attempts to embrace other domains of knowledge through this concept which is regarded as a foundation for modern science. But whether this attempt is reasonable or not should be carefully reexamined because there are reasons to doubt some justifications of the scientific concept of life. Though it is evident that the scientific concept of life was developed by theories of evolution and gene, it is obscure whether this concept is supported by these theories. This being so, I will try to explain why this concept is obscure and that this concept is deficient to be foundation of reductionism and eliminates phenomena of life. Then, I will examine where we can seek for the possibility of a new concept of life.
