모든 큰 사회 안에 소수 인종으로 구성된 민족과 그 지리적 특성으로 인해 그 소수만이 가지고 있는 여러 특징들을 가지고 있다. 소수 민족인 원주민의 삶, 언어, 문화는 다수의 민족과 다르다. 남아프리카의 역사는 여러 소수 민족의 집단의 관계와 충돌의 연속으로 구성되어 있다. 탄자니아는 아프리카의 동쪽에 위치한 국가로 1964년에 영국의 식민지로부터 독립하였다. Magubike는 탄자니아 북쪽에 위치한 마을로 Kaguru 지역 출신의 사람들이 거주하였다. Kaguru 부족은 동아프리카 종족과 달리 뛰어난 스타일로 가진 조각품들을 그들의 문화에서 발견할 수 있다. 본 연구는 지금까지 잘 알려지지 않은 소수민족 중 아프리카 탄자니아의 동쪽에 위치한 카구루 부족에 대한 초기의 삶과 그들의 사회적 특징, 지리적 환경과 자연 재해로 인한 고난, 이들의 주거문화와 음식문화에 대한 연구를 통하여 소수 민족이 가지고 있는 가치를 재조명하고자 하였다. There exist many features in a culture within all big societies that only it alone possesses due to its ethnic and geographic characteristics. The culture, language, and life of indigenous ethnic minorities are different from those of the majority of their nation. The history of South Africa is made up of a series of conflicts among various ethnic groups. Tanzania, an Eastern African country, became independent from British colonization in 1964. Magubike is a village located in the northern part of Tanzania inhabited by the Kaguru local people. This study is to describe the wide range of cultural influences of Kaguru tribe and the impact of natural disaster on the life based on geographical environment which they had. This research investigates the society of Kaguru through two perspectives: firstly, the geographical characteristics that has ruled the lives of the Kaguru and the British colonial society in the 1960; and secondly, to provide the analysis and comparison of the characteristics of early Kaguru culture, history, and legend.
