인양장비는 원자력발전소에서 발생하는 사용후핵연료를 운반하는 운반용기를 인양하기 위해 사용된다. 본 연구는 원자력 안전위원회고시 제2013-27호와 미국 10CFR Part 71 ${\S}71.45$에서 규정하는 기술수준에 따라 이론적인 방법과 유한요소방법으로 인양장비의 구조적안전성을 평가하였다. 이론적으로 평가한 결과 모든 구성 요소에서의 응력이 응력제한치 내에 있어 운영상 발생하는 구조적 안전성을 확보하고 있는 것으로 판단하였다. 또한 유한요소해석을 통한 평가결과, 항복과 극한조건 모두에서 설계기준을 만족하는 것으로 평가되었다. 모든 구성요소에서 충분한 안전여유도(항복조건에서 3 이상의 안전율, 극한조건에서 5 이상의 안전율)를 갖는 것으로 나타나 구조적으로 안전하다고 판단하였다. A lifting device is used to deal with transport cask for the transportation of spent fuels from nuclear power plants. This study performed theoretical analysis and numerical simulation to evaluate the structural integrity of the lifting device based on Nuclear Safety and Security Commission(NSSC) Notice No.2013-27 and US 10CFR Part 71 ${\S}71.45$. The results of theoretical analysis showed that the maximum stresses of all components were below the allowable values. This result confirmed that the lifting device was structurally safe during operation. The results of finite element analysis also showed that it was evaluated to satisfy the design criteria bothyielding and ultimate condition. All components have been shown to ensure the structural safety due to sufficient safety margins. In other words, the safety factor was 3 or more for the yielding condition and was 5 or more for the ultimate condition.

Tissue distributions and association of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) with inflammatory have led us to search for COX-2 selective inhibitors from natural products. Conceptually, COX-2 selective inhibitors should be expected to retain anti-inflammatory efficacy by inhibition of PGs production while reducing or eliminating the gastric, renal and hemostatic side effects commonly associated with NSAIDs use. Thus, a logical approach to the treatment of inflammatory diseases should involve the inhibitors of COX-2. To develop new COX-2 inhibitors from natural products, two hundred crude drugs were screened by inhibiting PGD2 generation in bone marrow derived mast cells (BMMC). Among them, 6 methanol extracts of crude drugs such as, Bletillae rhizoma, Aconiti kgreani rhizoma, Belamcandae rhizoma, Nelumbinis semen, Gleniae radix, Aurantii immatri pericarpium inhibited more than 85% of BMMC COX-2 activity at a concentration 2.5mcg/ml.

High levels of extracellular phospholipase A2 (Plase A2) associated with inflammatory process in man and animal models have been extensively reported elsewhere. Thus, a logical approach to the treatment of inflammatory diseases should involve the inhibitors of Plase A2. To develop new Plase A2 inhibitors from natural products, two hundred crude drugs were screened using group II PLA2 inhibitory activity. Among them, methanol extract of 5 medicinal plants such as, Raphani Semen, Moutan cortex radicis, Arecae semen, Caryophylli Cortex and Betulae Cortex inhibited more than 90% of PLase A2 activity at a concentration 2.5mcg/ml. Then, 10 methanol extracts sample were transferred into organic solvents, PLase A2 inhibitory effects were found mainly in CHCl3 and EtoAc fractions.

Because of the potent effects of lipid mediators such as Prostaglandins (PGs), leukotriens (LTs) and platelet activating factor (PAF) on a variety of cells and tissues, they are considered as major contributors to the process leading to inflammation and allergy. To pursue the mechanism of anti-inflammatory activity of Lonicera japonica, we tested inhibitory effects of 7 flavonoids from Lonicera japonica on arachidonic acid cascade related enzymes, such as inflammatory phospholipase A2, cyclooxygenase-1 and 2, 5-lipoxygenase, in bone marrow-derived mast cells (BMMC), and lyso PAF- acetyltransferase in rat spleen nicrosomes. Anti-inflammatory activities of Lonicera japonica are thought to be attributed at least in part to the inhibition of arachidonic acid cascade releated enzymes by flavonoids such as apigenin, luteolin and quercetin.

Multiple forms of extracellular phospholipase A2 have been detected in human amniotic fluid (HAF). When HAF was subjected to heparin-Sepharose column chromatography, phospholipase A2 activity was detected in both heparin-non binding and binding fraction. The activity of heparin-non binding fraction was further purified by sequential uses of column chromatographies on butyl-Toy-opearl 650M and DEAE-Sephacel. DEAE-Sephacel fraction contained three different phospholipase A2 activities (Peak I, II, III). The molecular weight of DEAE-Sephacel fraction phospholipase A2 determined by SDS-PAGE were about 52KDa (Peak I). Peak II, III required micromolar Ca2+ ion for its maximum activity, but Peak I enzyme showed calcium independent phospholipase A2 activity and showed broad range of pH (6.0~10.0) optimum. All these enzymes were not recognized by a monoclonal antibody raised against phospholipase A2 from human synovial fluid. These results suggest that HAF might contain multiple forms of extracellular phospholipase A2, which may neither belong to the 14KDa group II phospholipase A2 family nor cytosolic phospholipase A2.
