수학교실에서 때때로 학생들은 ‘표본평균에 대한 표준편차의 관계식 "□"으로부터 모표준편차 □를 계산할 수 있지 않느냐?’ 라는 질문을 하는 경우가 있다. 이러한 점에 주목하여 본 연구에서는 고등학생을 대상으로 표집분포의 개념과 특히 표본평균의 표준편차에 대한 학생들의 이해정도를 살펴보 았으며, 학생들의 이해정도가 기대수준에 상당히 못 미침을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 실태파악을 바탕으로 고등학교 수학교실에서 표본평균의 표집분포에 대한 다음과 같은 지도방법을 제시하였다. (1) 지필환경에서는 고등학교 수학교실의 현실적인 여건을 고려하여 현실적인 간단한 데이터를 사용하여 표집분포의 성질에 대하여 학생들이 활동을 통하여 명확하게 이해할 수 있도록 한다. (2) 환경이 허용될 경우에 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통하여 보다 규모가 큰 현실적인 데이터를 사용하여 표집분포에 대하여 학생들이 보다 명확하게 이해할 수 있도록 한다. In highschool mathematics classrooms, students sometimes ask the question: "we can calculate the standard deviation of population□ using the expression "□" , can``t we?". This study investigated high school students’ understanding the characteristics of sampling distribution of sample mean, especially the standard deviation (standard error) of sample means in statistical estimation unit. The results showed that the degree of students`` understanding fell well short of our expectations. Based on this result, we suggested the following practical teaching methods for sampling distribution of sample mean in highschool mathematics classrooms: (1) In a paper and pencil environment, we can teach students, considering the practical situation of highschool mathematics classroom, the characteristics of the sampling distribution of sample mean through a small realistic data and encouraging student-centered activities. (2) We can help students understand more clearly the characteristics of sampling distribution through a computer simulation with a relatively large data and encouraging student-centered activities if the educational condition is available.

국내생산 허브의 마이크로웨이브 건조 후 이화학적 특성 변화 연구

마이크로웨이브는 식품의 표면을 투과하여 식품 내부를 매우 신속하게 가열할 수 있으므로 식품의 맛, 냄새, 조직감, 영양가등에 대하여 최소한의 영향을 미치게 된다(Chandrasekaran 등, 2013; Datta 와 Hu, 1992). 본 실험은 이러한 기능이 있는 마이크로파를 이용한 국내에서 생산가능한 허브 5종의 건조에 따른 품질특성에 있어서의 변화를 알아보고자 하였다. 비조사구와 100 Watt와 600 Watt에서 각각 계속적인 가열건조 방법과 Pulse 방법을 이용한 마이크로파 건조방법을 사용하였으며, 실험결과 조직감 유지 및 갈변화 방지에 매우 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 CW에 의한 건조 보다는 PW를 활용한 방법이 조직감 유지 및 갈변화 방지, 탈수율에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 특히 허브의 총균수 사멸에 있어서 마이크로파는 다른 일반가열보다 짧은 시간 내에 미생물의 사멸효과가 있었으며, CW보다 PW가 미생물의 사멸속도가 빠른 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 마이크로파를 이용한 허브의 건조시 낮은 온도에서의 빠른 건조 발생으로 시간적 향상과 물리적 변화를 최대한 억제시키며 미생물의 성장을 억제하는 작용을 하여 허브 특유의 냄새를 보존시키는 작용으로 앞으로 국내산 허브의 건조저장기술에 마이크로파가 다양하게 이용될 수 있을 것이라 기대된다. The purpose of this study was to investigate how microwave drying, a method to minimize the scent and physicochemical changes of the final products, affects the quality characteristics of various herbs according to treatment intensity (pulse and continuous waves) and time. In the current study, different physicochemical qualities, such as weight change, moisture content, water activity, color, and microbial growth, of five different Korean herbs were analyzed after microwave drying. The results clearly showed that the pulse wave method was a more effective approach than the continuous wave method for maintaining the physicochemical properties of herbs. Furthermore, pulse wave drying lead to efficient microbial death in various herbs after a short time. Thus, microwave drying with a pulse wave can be applied to herb processing and packaging technology while minimizing the quality changes of herbs.

MyVHDL상에서 파이프라인 구조를 갖는 MIPS 프로세서의 VHDL

This paper concerns about a behavioral VHDL design and simulation of the pipelined MIPS processor on MyVHDL-2.5 [1]. Design technique used is a hierarchical design method as follows. The total system consists of three parts : clock generator, pipelined blocks : IF, ID, EX, MEM, WB block, and each block consists of some desired subblocks. Besides the basic blocks for pipelining execution, additional moduel such a control signal holding buffers, hazard detection unit, and forwarding mechanism, are implemented. In order to verify that the designed pipelined MIPS processor is working well, some application programs such as the multiplication based on iterative additions, Fibonacci series, and data sorting problem, are simulated.
