반강자성 IrMn 층과 인접한 Co/Ni 다층박막의 수직 교환 바이어스

We report the experimental observation of the perpendicular exchange bias effect in the ferromagnetic CoNi multilayers interfacing with antiferromagnetic IrMn layer. From a hysteresis loop measurement, it was found that as the antiferromagnetic IrMn thickness increases from 5 Å to 40 Å, the hysteresis loop is gradually changed from the symmetric shape to the asymmetric shape shifted by some amount corresponding to the exchange-biased field at the thickness of 20 Å. Also, the domain observation experiment shows that the domain reversals in the increasing and decreasing field regions at the sample with the thickness of 40 Å exhibit the same single domain wall motion even though they have the different coercivities.
강자성 Co<SUB>0.5</SUB>Fe<SUB>0.5</SUB> 합금 박막에서의 자화역전현상 연구

We have investigated the magnetization reversal behavior in ferromagnetic Co<SUB>0.5</SUB>Fe<SUB>0.5</SUB> alloy films using the magneto-optical Kerr microscope capable of the direct observation of time-resolved domain patterns. Interestingly enough, as the sample thickness increases the magnetization reversal behavior becomes changed from a single domain wall motion to the random nucleations of domains. Also, from the stochastic analysis of the domain jump sizes during the domain wall motion, it was found that the magnetization reversal behavior in the samples shows the critical scaling behavior with the critical exponent of τ~1.33.

In order to develop the indicators which evaluate the management effectiveness for the protected forest areas in Korea, candidate indicators were listed based on literature and experts interviews, then questionnaire survey on the experts were conducted. 5 elements of context, planning, input, process, output and outcome and 32 indicators were selected. Context element includes 6 indicators of 1) documentation and assessment of values; 2) documentation and assessment of threats, 3) influence of government policy, 4) related regulations, 5) community cooperation and 6) the structure of management organization. 6 indicators of Planning element were 1) the management objective, 2) protected area design, 3) protected area size and number, 4) representation, 5) standards and categories and 6) management planning. Input element of 3 indicators were 1) management staff, 2) funding, 3) establishment and application of information. Process element were consisted of 1) governance, 2) management guidelines, 3) human resource management, 4) law enforcement, 5) eco-management, 6) disaster management, 7) education program and 8) research and monitoring. The element of outputs and outcomes were 1) accomplishment of plan, 2) accomplishment of program, 3) private land management, 4) threats change, 5) biodiversity change, 6) ecosystem health and vitality, 7) impact on community, 8) international management level and 9) visitors` satisfaction and variation in civil compliant. It is recommended to have further research on evaluation methods development by applying those above developed indicators for the protected forest areas to ensure the practicality of the indicators.

We report a direct observation of Barkhausen avalanches in 50-㎚ Fe film, using a magneto-optical microscope magnetometer, capable of time-resolved domain observation. The time-resolved domain-evolution patterns exhibit that the occurrence of Barkhausen jump is random with respect to interval, size, and location. From the repetitive measurements more than 1000 times, we found that the probability distribution of Barkhausen jump size follows a power-law distribution and the critical exponent reveals the value of 1.14 ± 0.03.
2009 개정 중학교 과학교과서 물리 영역에서의 창의성 문항 분석 연구

본 연구에서는 2009 개정 중학교 과학 교과서의 전 학년 물리영역 단원에서의 창의성 문항 분석을 수행하였다. 창의성 문항을 요소별로 분석한 결과 전체적으로 창의성 요소들의 분포가 고르지 않았으며, 그중에서도 융통성에 해당하는 문항이 많았고 독창성의 문항이 가장 적었다. 교과서별로는 이 분포는 약간씩 차이를 보임을 알 수 있었다. 추가적으로 과학교과서 구성 요소에 따른 창의성 문항 분포는 살펴본 결과 탐구나 읽을거리보다는 평가 문항에 많은 수의 창의성 문항이 포함되어 있는 것을 확인하였다. 새로운 교육과정의 교과서는 창의성 문항이 탐구에 더 많이 포함될 필요가 있다고 생각된다. In this study, we studied the creativity items in the physical science section of the 2009 revised middle school science textbooks. As a result of analyzing the items of creativity, it was found that the distribution of the creativity factors was uneven in the whole, especially, there were many items in flexibility and the items of originality were the least. By the textbooks, this distribution was slightly different. In addition, the distribution of the creativity items according to the components of the science textbooks showed that a large number of creativity items were included in the evaluation items rather than the inquiry or reading. The textbooks of the new curriculum seem to require the creativity items to be included more in the inquiry.
디지털교과서를 활용한 거꾸로 과학수업이 학습자 역량 변화에 미치는 효과

This paper is to study the effect of the science class using the digital textbook as the pre-learning materials on the change of learner s competence. For this study, the first graders of middle school students were classified into the research group that selected the digital textbooks as the pre-learning materials and the comparative group that selected the book-type textbooks as the pre-learning materials in the class. Interestingly enough, both the groups showed significant improvement in all learner competencies, and the improvement in the learner competencies for the research group was larger than that for the comparative group. Also, according to the post-test t-test of the research group and the comparative group, it was found that the improvements of the information literacy and the self-directed learning ability were larger than these of the comparative group. This suggests that the use of multimedia learning materials and learning support functions provided by digital textbooks leads to improvement of self-directed learning ability and information literacy.

In this study, we experimentally observed the domain wall creep motions under the magnetic field in the ferromagnetic Co/Ni/Co magnetic wires with or without antiferromagnetic IrMn layer, respectively, using a magento-optical Kerr microscope system capable of real-time magnetic domain observation. As a result of the observation, it was found that the strength of the magnetic field required to move the magnetic domain wall was larger in the sample with the IrMn layer than the sample without the IrMn layer, and also, it was increased as the wire width decreased. In addition, we found that the magnetic domain wall speed characteristics according to the strength of the magnetic field in the two samples were well explained by the thermally activated model assuming the domain wall creep motion.
고체의 결정구조를 이용한 STEAM 통합 교육 수업 자료 개발

In this study, we developed the STEAM integrated teaching materials using solid crystal structures and examined the effects of this class on the learners. The STEAM teaching materials were developed based on the PDIE model as follows. First, through the preparation process, the subject was selected and the curriculum was analyzed. Second, the curriculum proposal, multimedia materials, and activity sheets were produced through the development process. Finally, the preliminary class and the main class were executed twice to evaluate the learners and the instructors. As a result, it was found that the learners were satisfied with the program with 4.68 points in the preliminary class and 4.80 points in the class, out of the total score of 5 out of 5 points. In addition, even in the case of the instructors, the satisfaction with the program was high.

We report the experimental observation of the domain wall creep motion in the ferromagnetic CoNi multilayers interfacing with antiferromagnetic IrMn layer, using a magento-optical Kerr microscope system capable of direct observation of domain change. From the magnetic domain images observed in real time, it can be seen that as the IrMn thickness increases from 0 Å to 25 Å, the strength of the magnetic field required to move the magnetic domain wall gradually increases, due to an increase in coercivity due to the exchange bias effect at the interface. In addition, it was found that the magnetic domain wall velocity characteristics according to the magnetic field in all samples were well explained by the thermal activated model assuming the domain wall creep motion.
