일반논문 : 한국어 교재에 나타난 문법 교육 항목 선정과 제시에 대한 연구

본고에서는 문법 항목의 선정과 배열에 대한 그간의 다양한 논의를 검토하여 한국어 교재에 반영되어야 할 문법 항목의 제시 기준을 마련하고 그것에 근거하여 교재를 분석한 뒤 개선 방향을 제안하였다. 분석 기준은 크게 사용 빈도, 의미 기능, 제시 형식이며 다섯 개의 세부 항목은 높은 빈도로 사용될 것, 일정한 기능을 가질 것, 기능에 근거하여 배열을 할 것, 문법 기능을 제대로 보여줄 수 있는 적합한 예문을 사용할 것, 규범 문법과의 일치성을 고려할 것, 표기시 학습자의 이해를 고려할 것 등이었다. 한국어 교재에 보조 용언 구문과 같이 높은 빈도로 사용되고 한국어의 문법체계를 이해하기 위해서도 필요한 항목이 제시되어 있지 않은 경우를 지적하고, 고급의 경우에도 교재 편찬자들간에 공유되는 표현 항목 목록에 근거하여 제시할 것을 제안하였다. 의미 기능을 적절하게 제시하고 있는지에 대해서는 기능이 다른 항목을 함께 제시하거나 적절하지 않은 예문을 사용한 경우에 대해서 지적하고, 기능이 같다는 전제하에 음운 환경·시제·경어법에 따른 활용형 등은 따로 제시하지 말 것을 제안하였다. 제시형식의 적절성에 관해서는 괄호 사용과 조사 표기와 부호 사용을 중심으로 살펴본 뒤 통합형 제시의 문제점을 지적하고 나열형으로 제시할 것과 규범 문법의 표기 규약을 참고할 것 등을 제안하였다. This study aims to review the researches so far on the selection and presentation of grammar items for learners of Korean as a foreign language and to analyze the Korean language textbooks on whether or not these research results are reflected in. Based on this analysis it was discussed the direction of grammar item selection and presentation. Analysis criteria is frequency of use, the semantic and grammatical function, notation system. Finding out that grammar items used with high frequency such as auxiliary verbs are not provided in the textbooks, this study proposed to provide grammar items based on a list of items that are shared between the textbook writers in the case of advanced level materials. In current Korean language textbook there are cases that items different in semantic or grammatical meaning are presented at the same time or that inappropriate example sentences are presented. This study propose that grammar items of which the function is equal each other should not be presented separately because of their different conjugations by phonological environment, tense, and honourific ending. After pointing out the problems of integrated notations system, this study suggested presenting the list of grammar items and refering to the typographic conventions of dictionary or school grammar.
