This paper is concerned with the development of a project management system for the turnkey - based plant project, which will help the site manager to plan, control, and report the project progress. This system has been developed as one of the modules of the integrated information system for the H Heavy Industry Co. and is composed of five sub systems; project information system, drawing - material management system, process management system, project progress report system, A/S management system. The system is also integrates commercial project management package in order to schedule the project activities and report the project progress to the owner. The main purpose of the system is to provide project information, including drawing, material, and progress, to the site manger in the real time and to accumulate site know - how for the turnkey - based plant project.

The purpose of this thesis is to get data which need to set up the positive directions for Coeducational Technical High School. To attain these data, Technical High School boy and girl students' consciousness of career was examined, and then their consciousness levels of career, choices of career, views for getting a job, and states of career education were compared and analyzed. The main points to accomplish the purpose of this thesis are as follows : 1. Do Technical High School students' motives of entrance and major choice indicate a meaningful difference by both sexes? 2. Do Technical High School students' self-consciousnesses indicate a meaningful difference by both sexes? 3. Do Technical High School students' consciousnesses of career indicate a meaningful difference by both sexes?

The purpose of this study is to develop a computer support system for the inspection of the outfitting arrangement of a ship design, which will increase the accuracy and the effectiveness of the inspection process. This system is integrated with a ORACLE database for transferring and storing 3D CAD data into the inspection system, and a dVISE virtual reality system for displaying the attributes of entities and the inspection results.

The best aim of the operation of nuclear power plant is its safety and reliability. So the purpose of this paper is to develop a hybrid system for diagnosis and treatment of nuclear power plant turbine, in order to improve safety and reliability of the operation of turbine. The proposed system can not only diagnose abnormal status of turbine but also propose appropriate treatment procedure for the diagnosed status, based on the results of diagnosis. The hybrid system developed in this paper is composed of an expert system with knowledge base and inference engine, nam-machine interface with hypertext and graphic screens, and databases for failure recording and treatment suggestion. The causes of the failure of turbine can be identified in two step diagnosis. In the first diagnosis step, causes are checked by the operators with the location and characteristics of the frequencies and nose. Based on the first diagnosis, the detailed analysis are performed with data from sensors and monitors of the turbine. The expecting effect of this system is to improve the turbine operation reliability, to organize the knowledge of diagnosis and treatment procedure, and to help judgement and decision-making of operators.

The purpose of this study is to develop an integrated maintenance system which can improve the efficiency of maintenance of the power generating system for nuclear power plant. Standardization of maintenance processes is established and, as a result, the process is broken into 18 dissembly steps and 14 assembly steps. All the related information, such as detailed working procedure, reference data, tool/equipment list, required man power, etc, are integrated to each steps. Appling this integrated system, it is expected that set-up time and maintenance cost can be reduced, through the elimination of unnecessary resources input.

The system is composed of four major modules; material inspection module at the pipe piece level, material inspection module at the service level, tank-penetrating pipe piece inspection module, and the basic information management module. Recently, the demand for the direct shipment of purchased goods by express couriers has increased as the result of an explosive growth in e-tailing, telemarketing, and TV home-shopping industries. However, since too many express courier companies have been emerging over the last several years, competitiveness for market share is very severe among them. This study suggest a network design model for strategic alliance in order to overcome the circumstances in hot express courier service market. We propose an integer programming model and a solution procedure based on maxmin criterion. To demonstrate practicality and efficiency of the proposed model and solution procedure, a numerical example is derived and tested.

This study is focused on the methodology for the determination of the loading pattern for set products which can be charactertized by the fact that various kinds of parts should be provided together in order to function as one product such as home appliances or military supplies. This study is composed of the development of the mathematical model and its solution algorithm. The model tries to maximize the utilization rate of the loading space under the condition that the same number of the components of each set product should be loaded. This study can give the loading pattern and present the quantity information on the sub-set products to the user. The result of this study is compared with George & Robinson's algorithm under the same condition that this study is performed.
