The aim of this research is to explore the meaning of the responsibility in sports ethics and discuss the problem of the ethical responsibility attribution and distribution. The responsibility in sports phenomena questions the ability which participants can rationally and freely choose for themselves. The essence of the responsibility in sports phenomena might change the definition of the responsibility depending upon focusing on the sports participants themselves or the activity of the participants, but nothing can be excluded from participants in sports phenomena. Therefore, the identity of ethical responsibility in sports ethics consists in the presence of the participant and the cause-and effect responsibility can be seen to be included as a part in discussing the responsibility based on this presence. However, when the problem of group responsibility takes place, the identity of responsibility is raised as a solution about it. The ethical responsibility in the traditional sports ethics attributes and distributes the responsibility by questioning only the activity of participants. Right here, when the responsibility problem in sports group takes place, even if we try to distribute the responsibility to the main bodies, we can`t distribute all responsibilities and there happens a problem of some parts among them remaining. Accordingly, to solve this problem, the discussion of sports ethics should be expanded from the problem of participants to that of sports group.
