        한국과 일본의 초등 과학교육 동향의 비교 연구

        In this study, the trend of Japanese elementary science education was investigated and its realities were grasped. By comparing the results with those of Korea, it was intended to contribute to the development of science in Korea through the elementary science education. The discussions were as followed. 1. The elementary science curriculum and the textbook of two countries were compared to analyze. 2. In order to compare the evaluation of science educational achievement of the elementary school pupils of two countries, the items of inquiry for the instrument of educational achievement were prepared. And the items were examined to the 6th grade of the elementary school of two countries and each field(physics, chemistry, biology, earth science) and each scope of behavioral aims(knowledge, understanding, application) were manipulated statistically to compare and analyze. 3. By comparing the science curricula which has executed at the elementary teacher training college of two countries, the educational curriculum plan for the qualitative improvement of the science teacher was suggested. The main objective of this study through the results of the former discussions was to grope the effective direction for the elementary science education of the 21th century.

      • 광음향분광법에 의한 AI_2O_3:Cr 결정의 Cr^3+이온의 비복사천이과정 연구

        Photoacoustic spectroscopy is applied to study the nonradiative processes of Cr^3+ions in Al_2O_3:Cr^3+ crystal at room temperature. Three spectra, photoacoustic spectrum, luminescence excitation spectrum and optical absorption spectrum, are compared. It is shown to be possible to identify the modes of the relaxation processes of Cr^3+ ions in crystal by comparing photoacoustic spectra with luminescence excitation spectra. Furthermore, it is shown that the photoacoustic spectroscopy can be used to identify the forbidden transitions and the spin doublet energy levels of Cr^3+ ions in Al_2O_3:Cr^3+. These experimental data are in good agreement with the crystal field calculations. The relaxation process from ^2T_1 or ^2T_2 to ^4A_2 is dominantly nonradiative. However, the relaxation from either ^4T_1 or ^4T_2 to ^4A_2 is consist of the nonradiative relaxation process(^4T_1→^2Eor^4T_2→^2E) followed by the radiative relaxation process(^2E→^4A_2)

        The Writer has chosen some of the ESS units and carried on an experimental study on this units to find out the most suitable materials for this units for a primary school science education in Korea. Experimental process are as follows; A) Units and class; ESS Units Experimental class (1) Batteries and bulb 4 year grade (2) Pendulums 5 (3) Mystery powder 3 (4) Colored solutions 6 (5) Growing seeds 1∼3 (6) Where is the moon? 3 (7) Tracks* 4 (8) Clay boats* 1 B)Period of study; March, 1970∼February, 1971 (and year) Study of this subject. C) Experimental and analytical process; (1) Pre-and post-investigation about the ESS class and the counter class has been conducted. (2) Children's reports of experiment and observation have been collected. (3) Children's ability to conduct, by themselves, various method of experiment and observation has been checked. (4) Suitability of the prepared materials has been examined. (5) Change of children's interest and attitude through experiment and observation has been measured. (6) Fitness of the experiment to the year grade has been considered. (7) Finally, teacher's role has been enumerated.

      • ESS과학의 시범실험에 관한 연구

        This study is planned to develop new ideas and methods for improving the content and process of primary school science education in Korea by suggesting and demonstrating the teaching methods, learning methods and the experimental methods, etc. of ESS science. In order to complete study of ESS science I have a three-year plan. The study plan for the first year is a study for the demonstration of ESS science through primary school teachers to suggest many ways to make them understand ESS science. This study aims to fulfill the following points of goals. 1) This study might be a contribution to the curriculum building for the primary school science in Korea. 2) This might be helpful for the science teaching to plan his teaching of science subject. 3) This study can also be helpful for improving the teacher training education of the primary school science in Korea. The specific items for this study are as follows: 1) Comparative study of the curriculum of science education in ESS science with the primary school science in Korea. 2) Analytic study of the teaching and learning methods in ESS science. 3) Analytic study of the experimental methods in ESS units.

      • 敎育大學 科學敎育課程의 分析硏究

        In this study, the curriculum of department of csience education of teachers college in Korea is analyzed and discussed. Because of the rate of the credits of major subjects of the department of science education of teachers college in Korea is poorly 15% fo the total credits,compared with that those of the developed counties, such as, U.S.A., England, West Germany, and Japan, is about 36%-50% of the total credits, many problems are anticipated when the students, who studied in the department of science education, become elementary school teachers, and when they want to learn the essentials of the specialized field of science. Therefore,to solve these problems under present curriculum, we suggest some new ideas to recorgnize the curriculum of teachers college.

      • 새 自然科 敎育課程의 分析과 評價

        This study is to analyze and evaluate the improved science curriculum in Korean elementary school in 1982 with the following purposes. 1) for evaluating educational effects on science curriculum constructs through the analysis of elementary science text book. 2) for evaluating the achivement level of children and the teaching skill of teachers in the teaching learning situation of units science text book through text of the summative evaluation. and then the study method and detailed plan of the study process are as the following. a) analysing the unit contents of science text book of the fifth grade b) modeling the hierachy of the concepts and process of the unit contents c) making two-way specification table of unit contents and behavioral objectives d) making summative evaluation items and examining the fifth grade children by them e) analysing and interpretating of the results. the conclusion obtained by this study are as following. 1) the improved science curricular constructs have the considerable validity on conceptual schma in terms of the science educational objectives 2) the uniit contents of science text book of the fifth grade have the proper difficalty for the children to achieve the estimated level.

      • 基礎科學敎育方法硏究

        The object of this study what is the efficient method of the fundamental science education at the primary and seconcary schoal. Therefore this study was tried to approach following containts: 1) Making of the model for the efficiency of the fundamental science education with the theoritical background to the modern science education. 2) Comparative analysis on the characteristic and learning-teaching containts of the combined science curricular developed by advanced countries. 3) For an example, practice on the Nuffield Combined Science for the primary school teachers. The results obtained through this study are as follows: 1) The efficient method of the fundamental science education is developing an enquiring mind and a scientific approach to problems. Therefore, it is also developing a scientific thinking power in teaching of science as enquiry. 2) In my opinion, I think the curriculum containts and the learning-teaching methods of the Nuffield Combined Science are one of very useful and effective science curricular.
