        탈북여성들의 무용참여요구도 조사연구

        The purpose of this study is to find out how sensitively North Korean refugee women react individually to dancing, and what formed such requests, and with respect to dancing what kinds of aspect show up. For this, three academics questions had been determined. First, do the North Korean refugee women have demands for participation in dancing? Second, what causes them to demand for participation in dancing? Third, what kind of aspects do they show with respect to the demands for participation in dancing. The age of the participants in this study are 49 North Korean refugee women ranged from 25 to 55. For this study, we conducted in-depth interview and semi- unstructured questionnaire. The outcome was analyzed through inductive analysis and frinducty analysis. The results are as followings: First, all the participants were in great demand of dancing, and had a strong desire for the life of culture, art, and leisure. Second, the causes of the demanding of participation in dancing were survival demand, psychological and emotional demand, and the demand of social learning strength. Third, the aspect of participation in dancing can be classified into a behavioral participation, a cognitive participation, and an affective participation. Considering the characteristics of North Korean refugee women, we are in need of developing of the dance program for them so as to support their settlement in South Korea on the basis of the results of this study to enhance their mental-physical health, and cultural adaptability.

        무용전공 대학생의 신체이미지와 체구성 간의 관계분석

        본 연구의 목적은 무용전공 대학생들의 신체이미지와 체구성을 전공과 성별에 따라 알아보고, 이 두 변인간의 관계를 밝히는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울시에 소재하고 있는 K대학교에 재학하고 있는 무용전공 대학생 181명을 대상으로 신체이미지 검사와 함께 체구성을 측정하였다. 먼저 전공별 신체이미지를 분석한 결과, 이상적인 신체와 자신의 실제 신체 사이의 차이가 한국무용이 가장 크고, 뒤를 이어 현대무용, 발레 순으로 나타났다. 또한 자기개념은 발레, 한국무용, 현대무용 순으로 나타났다. 성별 신체이미지 분석 결과 여성은 자신보다 더 마른 체형을 선호하며 자기개념 또한 남성에 비해 여성이 낮게 나타났다. 전공에 따른 체구성 분석 결과 WHR, 체지방률, BMI, 비만도 모두 발레 전공자가 가장 낮은 수치를 보였으며 한국무용과 현대무용 전공자와의 차이에서 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다. 기초대사량은 현대무용 전공자가 가장 낮게 나타났다. 성별에 따른 체구성 분석은 WHR, BMI, 비만도, 기초대사량 모두 여성이 낮은 수치를 보였으나, 체지방률은 남성이 낮게 나타났다. 신체이미지와 체구성 간의 관계 분석 결과, 신체이미지 중 신체상 인식과 자기개념은 WHR, 체지방률, 비만도와 유의한 상관성을 보였으며, 체구성의 하위 변인 들 간에도 다수의 상관성이 발견되었다. 연구결과를 통해 무용수들이 느끼는 신체이미지와 체구성에 대한 관계는 올바른 방향으로 신체를 인식하고, 훈련방법의 체계화를 가져올 수 있어 동작과학의 발전적 성과로 환원될 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study is to examine the body image and body composition of university students majoring in dance depending on their specialty and gender, and to discover the relationship between two variables. For this purpose, Helm(1987)`s ``he Revised Silhouette Body Image Test)(SBIT-R)``test were conducted with 181 dance majoring students in K university in Seoul, and their body compositions were also measured using an impedance meter(inbody 2.0). First, the analysis of the body image classified by students` majors showed negative values on self body image in all three majors. The gap between ideal body image and actual one was most significant in Korean dance, followed by modern dance and ballet. And self-concept values were in the order of ballet, Korean dance, and modern dance. The analysis of body image by gender revealed that, while the body image values of women were negative, those of men were positive, and that men`s self-concept values were also higher than women`s. The analysis of the body composition according to majors showed that students majoring in ballet displayed the lowest level in all aspects of WHR, body fat percentage, and fatness index, and the gap between the students majoring in Korean dance and modern dance was statistically significant. The analysis of the body composition by gender showed women have lower level of WHR, BMI, fatness index, basal metabolic rate, but men were lower in body fat percentage. Analysing corelation between body image and body composition revealed that, among body images, body image awareness and self-concept displayed significant correlation with WHR, body fat percentage, and fatness index, and many correlations were found in sub-variables of body composition. As the result of this study, the correlation between body image and body composition felt by dancers can result in better achievement in behavior science by bringing about appropriate body-concept and systematization of training methods.

        다문화 가정 자녀들의 문화정체성 형성을 위한 무용교육 프로그램 개발 및 적용

        국내의 다문화 가정이 급증하고 다문화 사회가 도래하는 급격한 변화를 겪게 됨에 따라, 교육의 사각지대에 놓여있는 교육 소외 계층인 다문화 자녀들이 중요한 사회적 이슈로 급부상하였다. 본 연구는 다문화 가정에서 성장하고 있는 아동 및 청소년들의 문화정체성을 형성하는데 도움을 줄 수 있는 무용교육 프로그램을 개발하고 적용함으로써 프로그램의 신체적, 심리정서적, 사회문화적 영역에서의 교육적 효과를 입증하는 것이 목표이다. 다문화 아동 및 청소년은 서울 및 경기도에 거주하고 있는 북한이탈가정 및 국제결혼가정 자녀 22명을 대상으로 하였으며, 자아발견과 예술표현, 의사소통 등 세 가지의 주요 목표를 위해 개발된 된 무용교육 프로그램은 회당 60분, 총 10회기의 프로그램으로 구성되었다. 프로그램의 교육적 효과를 검증하기 위해 신체적 영역인 순간근력과 유연성을, 심리정서적 영역은 반구 조화된 설문을 통해, 그리고 사회문화적 영역은 AIPE-S를 통해 측정하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 신체적 영역에서 순간근력과 유연성 모두 통계적으로 유의하게 향상된 것으로 나타났으며, 둘째 심리정서적 영역에서는 무용교육 프로그램을 접한 대부분의 참여자들이 앞으로 춤을 더 배워보고 싶고, 어려운 춤을 배우고 난 후 자신이 자랑스럽게 느껴졌다는 의견을 보임으로써 자신의 문화에 대한 자긍심과 자신감이 형성되어 타인 앞에서 춤을 추고 싶은 욕구가 생기게 되는 긍정적인 변화를 발견할 수 있었다. 마지막 셋째, 사회적인 영역의 경우 급우에게 응답(FB) 요인을 제외하고는 프로그램에 참여한 교사와 아이들 간의 의사소통이 이전보다 통계적으로 유의한 수준에서 빈번해진 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study is for children of multicultural families to accept Korean culture physically, emotionally, socially and culturally to develop a dance education program which can form the cultural identity of their own in Korean society, and to prove the effect after the application. A multicultural family is defined as a family which consists of people of different cultural background with Korea and it also includes the international marriage couple, foreign worker, and North Korean defector family. To reach the goal of this study, multicultural children who lives in Seoul and Kyeongki region have participated, Based on the result of literature research and demand research, we selected the goal, content, operating method, and activity for professor-learning of dance program. In conclusion, the program proved and developed by scientific and systematic procedure can be applied to the educational cite of actual multi-cultural adolescents. In a common school, to begin the multi-cultural education, this study suggests to provide the multi-cultural experience activity program, creative activity and special activity. As a group and member of Korean society, by experiencing to find one`s role, it will help positively on formation of identity.

        대학 무용과 내 예술 기업가정신 관련 교육과정 분석

        Dance graduates are more likely to become self-employed or undertake freelance work. Therefore, they need to understand the market and to develop necessary management and organization skills for planning, fundraising, application writing, promoting and touring. Also, professional dancers face relatively short performance careers due to the intense physical demand and may have to prepare for career transition and to develop a second career. Reflecting upon the characteristics of employment within the dance world and dancers’ career, this paper argues that dance departments in higher education have to provide entrepreneurship curricula for dance students who need to improve not only abilities to perform and choreograph but also entrepreneurial skills for a successful and sustainable career in the sector. This research analyzes current curricula of most dance departments in Korea, focusing on what their entrepreneurship-related programs consist of and how they run the programs.

        한국사회 내 탈북인 예술단체의 사회문화적 정체성 및 가치에 관한 연구

        This study mainly focuses on understanding a dance event within social and cultural contexts rather than describing formal structures and movements within a dance, and then examines how its meanings or values in the contexts are revealed and exposed through performances, especially dancing. The paper begins with two academics questions about North Korean refugee’s performances in South Korea: What is a cultural identity of North Korean refugee’s performing arts company in the society? What kinds of sociocultural values does the company have? The social context of the company is closely relative to an influx of North Korean refugees into South Korea and a process of their adaption to new circumstances. On the other hands, the cultural context of the company is linked to performance exchanges between the South and the North for cultural unification. Therefore, in order to resolve the above two questions, previously written material about the social position of North Korean refugees as well as the past performing arts exchanges between the South and the North are explored. Moreover, ‘Pyeongyang Performing Arts Company’ is selected as a case study to gather detailed sources of its specific repertoire and to have interviews with performers or officers of the company. By analysing collected information, firstly, it is shown that the cultural identity of North Korean refugee’s performing arts company is distinct from a domestic company in North Korea since the former has a hybrid identity where North culture conflicts with, interact with, and assimilate into South culture. This hybrid identity can be illustrated not only from folk dances as main repertoire but also Korean dancer joining in the company. Secondly, to participate in North Korean refugee’s performing arts company leads to earn money, to form a social community with other refugees, and to get involved in the mainstream of the society. As well as social values of the company for the refugees, the company’s own hybrid cultural identity suggests an ideal way to recognize heterogeneities between South and North culture, appreciate the other side, and coexist together.
