진해만 하천에서 다환방향족탄화수소류(PAHs) 유입부하량과 오염특성

The pollution of PAHs(Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons) is taking place extensively in the marine environment. These compounds may enter into the marine environment in a number of way and those in coastal estuary of urbanization and industrial activities region is mainly introduced into marine environment via atmosphere or river. The field investigation to evaluate the pollution of PAHs in river of Jinhae bay is carried out in August, 2008. The inflow water which is discharged into Jinhae bay is collected from seven main rivers and Deokdong WWTP(Wastewater Treatment Plant). Analyzed PAHs is 16 PAHs that is selected as priority pollutants by EPA. In case of the pre-treatment method for detection, liquid-liquid extraction method is used for dissolved PAHs in water sample and soxhlet extraction method is used for PAHs in SPM(Suspended Particulate Matter). And GC-MS is used for detection of PAHs. The range and mean of dissolved total PAHs concentrations in the river and Duckdong WWTP that are entered into Jinhae bay were shown to be 9.79∼128.25(mean 36.94)ng/L, while the range and mean of total PAHs concentrations in SPM is shown to be 1,814.34∼8,893.37(mean 4,657.73)㎍/㎏ dry wt.. The dissolved total PAHs and total PAHs in SPM have shown high concentrations in the Samhocheon enter into the Masan bay where the main contaminated area of Jinhae bay, while is shown to be low concentrations at rivers where enter into the west area of the bay. The composition ratio of compound by benzene ring in dissolved PAHs and PAHs in SPM are shown to be each other different pattern according to environment media. This results are shown to be the similar pattern by physical and chemical characteristics of PAHs compared to other studies. For the loading flux of river and Duckdong WWTP, the range and mean of dissolved total PAHs are calculated as 0.06∼12.05(mean 1.86)g/day, and total PAH in SPM calculated as 0.12∼16.00(mean 2.41)g/day. Duckdong WWTP is shown to be the greatest loading flux taking up more 80% for total loading flux by the flow rate.
