The Equations of motion of C, Si, Ge, GaAs in diamond structure are formulated by using the Harmonic Approximation Method. Dynamical matrix in the equations of motion is developed by the Keating model which used two force constants, first-neighbor central and second-neighbor angular force constants. And the force constants are evaluated by using the elastic constants relation which was induced by Keating and first-order Raman shift experimental data. Phonon dispersion curves are calculated by substituting the force constants to dynamical matrix. The results are well satisfied by Raman experimental data. And the symmetric properties of group ??? and ??? and the vibration mode in phonon dispersion curves are studied.
CHALCOPYRITES 결정격자에 대한 존-중심에서 포논의 진동수에 관한 연구

We report a detailed investigation of the zone-centered phonons in chalcopyrites at Γ-point. The equations of motion of ZnSnP₂, CdSnP₂, CdSiP₂and CdGeP₂in chalcopyrite structure are formulated by using the harmonic approximation method. The force constants used in this study are two first-neighbor central and one second neighbor angular force constants following Bettini. With these force constants, dynamical matrix can be obtained. The secular equations constructed from this dynamical matrix are solved by software called mathematica. In this study, we got 3 acoustic and 21 optical phonons at Γ-point. the modes of 21 optical phonons are assigned by comparing with the results of group theoretical analysis. These are compared with the experimental Raman shifts and Bettini's. Our results explain the Raman shifts fairly good.

The learning cycle model is recently one teaching method to be brimming over with satisfaction the both process and products in science education. It was made the three steps of learning cycle process by Lawson theory of which based on self-regulation in the Piaget cognitive method. the author was studed the chapter of environmental pollution and conservation of nature in sixth grade, with which learning achivement, scientific attitude, affect of inquiry ability extension and virsus the distinction of sex according to learning cycle model. There were selected each two classes among city, colony and rural district in chung-Buk province, all of them are six classes which are divided two groups of testing classes and comparative classes. The results of this study are 1. There is affirmative affect of inquiry ability in science education. 2. There is affirmative affect of the formation scientific attitude in science education. 3. There is no difference in achivement of understand but a less effect in them. 4. There is no effect between sex ratio, so that there should be the class of both sex in primary school According to the affirmative effects of inquiry ability and scientific attitude, the teaching method of learning cycle medel must be studied in primary school.
