        강원 지역 국민학교 아동의 영양 실태 조사

        The propose of this cross-section study is to investigate the food intake from lunch box, physical conditions, biochemical values, and parasite infection of children in primary school located in three different regions. urban(Chun Cheon), mountainous (Jeong Seon), fishing (A-Yae-Jin). 300 children (100 students from each school) were randomly selected. The result of this study are summarized as follows: 1) Average children units for calorie and protein were 0.82, 0.91 in the urban area, 0.91, 0.88 in the mountainous region and 0.77, 0.75 in the fishing village respectively. 2) The calories from lunch boxes ranged from 603 to 676 Cal and the protein intake from 17. 1 to 20.8 gm. The calories taken in the fishing area were 86.6% of carbohydrate 2.1%, fat and protein 11.3%. The intake of fat and protein in the fishing area was lower than that in urban and mountainous areas. All subiects were low in the intake of calcium, vitamin A, thiamine, riboflavin and ascorbic acid compared with daily recommended allowances. 3) The mean of the body weight and height of the children in the urban area was heavier and higher than those in other areas. 4) The hemoglobin values of the children were 13.2±2.93/100m1 (boys), 13.2±2.47gm/100m1(girls) in the urban area, 13.1±1.22gm/100m1 (boys), 12.6±1.45 gm/100m1 (girls) in the mountainous area, and 12.6±0.83gm/100m1 (boys), 11.4±0.81gm/100m1 (girls) in the fishing area. Four percent of children in fishing area was shown to be anemic. 5) The mean of hematocrit level ranged from 35.9% to 39.6%. No sex no regional difference was found, 6) The mean of ratios of urea nitrogen/creatinine were 7.5 (boys) 7.7 (girls) in the urban area, 8.1 (boys) , 7. 8 (girls) in the mountainous area and 7.3 (boys), 6.5 (girls) in the fishing area. 7) a) The ascaris infection was 1. 2% in the urban area, 42.7 ~ in the mountainous area, and 82.8% in the fishing area. b) The trichocephalus trichurus infection was 14.2% in the urban area, 36% in the mountainous area, and 81.5% in the fishing area. c) The hook worm infection was none in the urban area, 1.3% in the mountainous area, and 5.2% in the fishing area.

        강원도를 중심으로한 영양 실태 조사를 지역별(도시, 산촌, 어촌) 국민학교 아동을 대상으로 하여 얻은 성적을 보고하는 바이다. 1) 각 지역의 국민학교아동들의 도시락 내용중 영양소 섭취량은 해당 연령 9세에서 11세 까지의 한국인 권장량 보다 부족하였다. 2) 지역별 신장과 체중치를 비교 하면 신장에 있어서 도시(춘천시)가 가장 양호하고 산간(정선국민학교), 어촌(아야진국민학교) 순으로 불량하고 체중에 있어서는 도시 아동은 한국표준치의 90% 이상에 분포되어 있는데 반하여 산간 및 어촌지역은 그에 미달됨을 볼 수 있다. 3) Hemoglobin 및 hematocrit 측정평균치는 모두 정상이었다. 4) Urea nitrogen/creatinin 비는 각 지역차는 관찰할 수 없었다. 5) 기생충 감염율은 도시보다 산간지방에 있어서 약 2배의 감염율을 보이고 어촌은 산간지방보다 2배의 감염율을 보이고 있다.         The research was undertaken to study the nutritional effect of rice, fish powder, allicin, high and low protein diet upon grown rats, blood cholesterol, glucose and ascorbic acid contents in various organs of albino rats. The results obtained may be sumarized as follows: 1) The growing rate of the rats was more accelerated by a mixture diet of fish powder and allicin than other rats put different diets. 2) The rate of food consumption was also supperior to the mixture diet of fish and allicin group. 3) The cholesterol level in blood of rats fed the diet supplemented with allicin seems to be a litte lower than that of the control group. 4) The vitamin C contents in various organs of rats fed the diet supplmented with allicin seems to be a little higher than that of the control group fed a protein diet alone.
