인천시민대학 평생교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 교육 요구 분석

본 연구의 목적은 인천시민의 교육 요구를 분석하여 인천시민대학 평생 교육 프로그램의 우선순위를 결정하는 것이다. 본 연구는 인천시민 1,172명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문 주요 내용은 인천시민대학에 대한 인식, 운영 요구, 평생교육 프로그램 분야에 대한 요구로 구성하였다. 설문조사를 통해 수집된 자료는 t 검정, Borich 요구도, The Locus for Focus 모델을 활용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 분석 결과는 첫째, 설문에 응답한 인천시민의 68.9%는 인천시민대학에 참여하겠다고 응답하였다. 수업의 주기는 주 1회 또는 2회, 시간은 주말 오전과 낮시간, 교육 기간은 1개월 이상에서 3개월 미만을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 인천시민은 8개 분야에 대한 요구가 모두 있었고, 진로-직업에 대한 요구가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 다음 순서로는 생활-환경, 인문, 문화-예술 분야가 높았다. 본 연구의 결과는 인천시민들의 의견을 반영하고, 체계적인 요구조사 프로세스의 과정을 제시했다는 점에서 의미가 있으며 더불어 인천시민 교육과정 개발에 기여할 것으로 사료된다. 그러나 본 연구의 결과는 8개 프로그램에 대한 요구만 대상이 되었다는 점에서 한계가 있다. This study aims to determine the priority of lifelong education programs for Incheon citizens’ college by analyzing the educational needs of Incheon citizens. This study included 1,172 residents of the Incheon metropolitan area. The main contents of the survey consisted of the cognition of Incheon citizens’ college and the need for lifelong education programs and operations. The data collected through the online survey were analyzed using a t-test, Borich’s needs assessment model, and the locus for focus model. As a result of this study, the first 68.9% of Incheon citizens who responded positively acknowledged their participation and preferred classes once or twice a week, morning and daytime on weekends, and for a period of 1–3 months. Second, Incheon citizens needed all eight programs, with the need for career-jobs being the highest, followed by life-environment, humanities, and culture-art. This study presents the necessary procedures for determining the programs’ content, reflecting the needs of Incheon citizens. It is also meaningful because it contributes to developing Incheon’s citizenship curriculum. However, this study has limitations because it only analyzed the needs for eight programs.
