        The purpose of this study was to provide basic materials needed to enhance quality of organizational life by identifying the improvements of labor union management in the perspective of general hospital organization management. The subject of this study were 686 employees in 12 General Hospitals in Metro Capital including Seoul. Materials were collected from administrators, nurses and medical technicians in target hospitals from March 20 to May 10, 2005 through survey questionnaires. The main results of this study were as follows: 1. the commitment level of the subjects according to their characteristics was higher in older employees than the younger ones, large family to support than small family to support and those who had higher positions in labor union. 2. The commitment level of the subjects according to the job and role related variables were higher those who had higher satisfaction level to their job and manager, role conflict in all hospitals. 3. The commitment level of the subjects according to union related variables, variables jointly controlled by union and employer was satistically significant positive correlation. In other words, the commitment level of the subjects according to the subjects' labor union involvement was higher in those who had higher satisfaction in labor union and perceived their colleagues' attitudes more positively in all hospitals. Regarding the atmosphere of the relationship between union and employer and the level of commitment in labor union, the better the atmosphere of the relationship between union and employer was, the higher the level of commitment in labor union was in all hospitals. 4. The results of multiple regression analysis shows that formal and informal socialization, union participation to the union management cooperation program, job satisfaction, satisfaction with the labor union's were all found as important antecedents of labor union commitment. 5. Job and role-related variables, union-related variables, variables jointly controlled by union and employer, and labor union commitment level were all found significantly different in accordance with the characteristics of unions concerned. To summarize study results, the level of commitment in labor union depends on job satisfaction, manager's attitudes, satisfaction to their jobs, union satisfaction, their colleagues attitudes toward union and the atmosphere of employer-employee relationship. Therefore hospital managers should have democratic and flexible attitudes toward labor union. Additionally, as formal and informal socialization, union participation to the union-management cooperation program is important determinant in union commitment, hospital managers should have countermeasures to enhance the colleague attitude and job satisfaction level of hospital employees. Since this study deals with psychological nature of workers not a few drawbacks and shortcomings may be detected in the finding. Nevertheless, the finding of this study, to become a momentum that will stimulate further research to detect all the cues of labor union commitment and to provide valuable reference in forming logical union commitment and labor union-management cooperation.

        서울지역 중소병원의 부서간 조직효과성에 관한 연구

        The purpose of ths study is aimed to grasp the factors, which may mfluence the harmonized organizational efficiency of the objects of hospital structure as well as its structural constituents of each departments of adrmnistration, nursing, and para-medical personnels, in order to provide basic data enable to contribute in the development of hospital. The survey data involved in the study was derived from 385 personnels working in 5 medium and small sized hospitals in Seoul area. The main finding of the study can be summarized as follows; 1. The organizational efficiency in accordance with the general characteristics of subjects in order of male, over 30 years of age, university graduates, long-term tenure and high position is higher, whereas, in as much as wage and well trained personnels in administration departments are higher, its organizational efficiency is higher in comparison with those of nursing and para-medical departments. 2. The organizational efficiency in accordance with satisfaction and the motive contributional factors is higher as much as the high satisfactory level in every departments in general. 3. The organizational efficiency in accordance with the factors of job characteristics is higher in as much as difficulty of the jobs is lesser, however there was not statically significance between administration and para-medical departments. In as much as the job circulation is intact, job standard level is hgher and the more job responsibility the higher organizational efficiency, while the more workload and the more work feud resulted lower organizational efficiency. It was obvious that the higher professional expertise as well as the training and application level are improving the organizational efficiency. 4. The organizational efficiency in accordance with the factors of structural characteristics was higher in as much as the intercommunication was smooth and the S~IUCW formalization level are higher, however there was not statically significance between the participation level of decision making and the organizational efficiency. 5. In as much as higher educational level of over university graduates, management of organization and the job level are satisfied, the psychological motive contributional level is higher, whde the lesser job difficulty, the smooth job performance, the higher level of professional expertise, the higher structural formahzation level, the smooth intercommunication, have affected as major influence factors of the structural characteristics of organizational efficiency. 6. As the management of hospital organization, the job level and personal relation are satisfied or psychological motive is provided, especially when there are no difficult jobs or smooth job circulation and no job feud are prevailing, it was apparent that the organizational efficiency is improving accordingly. The nursing departments has high educational standard and is satisfied in the management and job level of hospital organization as there are no difficult jobs while the level of hospital s organizational formality is high and the intercommunication is smooth, which are improving the organizational efficiency.         폴리카프로락톤(PCL)/폴리염화비닐(PVC) 블렌드의 기계적 성질, 열적 안정성 및 생분해성

        기계적으로 폴리카프로락톤(PCL)/폴리염화비닐(PVC) 블렌드를 제조하여 열적거동, 기계적 성질 및 생분해성에 대하여 연구하였다. 블렌드의 유리전이온도(T_g)가 하나만 관찰되는 시차주사 열량계 결과로부터 PCL/PVC 블렌드는 서로간에 완전한 상용성을 나타내는 것을 관찰하였으며, PCL의 함량이 증가함에 따라 블렌드의 T_g는 낮은 온도 쪽으로 이동하였다. PCL/PVC 블렌드의 기계적 성질을 조사하기 위하여 PCL 조성 5∼70%에 대하여 Instron을 사용하여 응력-변형 곡선을 구하였다. 그 결과 PCL 함량 5∼13%까지는 인장강도가 증가하는 반가소화 효과가 나타나고, 33∼50% 조성에서는 항복 강도 값이 나타나지 않았다. 이는 33∼50% PCL 조성에서는 PCL/PVC 블렌드 물성이 고무와 같은 거동을 보이는 것으로 판단된다. 열중량 분석법을 사용하여 열적 안정성을 조사한 결과 PCL 함량이 증가함에 따라 PCL/PVC 블렌드의 탈 염화수소에 의한 분해 시작 온도가 증가하였다. 또한 PCL/PVC(9/91) 블렌드 필름의 생분해성을 연구하기 위하여 in vitro로 실험을 행한 후, 배지의 흡광도를 측정한 결과 균주들의 성장성이 순수 PVC 보다 우수함을 관찰하였고, scanning probe microscope (SPM)로 표면을 관찰한 결과 블렌드 필름 표면의 구조 변화가 크게 나타남을 관찰하였다. 이는 PCL 함량이 9%로 낮아도 우수한 생분해성을 나타내는 것으로 판단된다. The thermal behavior, tensile properties and biodegradability of mechanically mixed poly(ε-caprolactone) (PCL)/poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) blends have been studied. The measured single glass transition temperature of PCL/PVC blends by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) supports complete miscibility between PCL and PVC. By increasing the PCL content of the blend, we observed the decrease of glass transition temperature (T_g). To investigate mechanical properties of the blends, we measured stress-strain curves of PCL/PVC blends with 5∼70% PCL contents. The continuous lowering of T_g and the increase of the tensile strength from 5% to 13% PCL contents support the antiplasticization phenomena of PCL/PVC blends. Blends with 33∼50% PCL contents did not show any yields, which may be caused by the rubbery nature of PCL/PVC blends. We found increase of dehydrochlorination temperature of the PCL/PVC blends with increase of PCL contents. To study biodegradability of the blend films, we used PCL/PVC blend film with 9% PCL content. After biodegradation experiments in vitro, we found increased biodegradation and surface morphology change for the blend film compared to pure PVC film.

        유기화제로 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane 을 이용하여 라텍스법으로 제조된 SBR/organoclay 컴파운드의 혼련 온도에 따른 팽윤도 및 기계적 물성

        본 연구에서는 filler-rubber interaction을 향상시키기 위하여 clay의 유기화제로 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane(APTES)을 사용하여 styrene butadiene rubber(SBR)/organoclay nanocomposite를 라텍스법으로 제조하였다. 컴파운딩시 혼련 온도에 따라 bis(triethoxysilylpropyl)tetrasulfide(TESPT)를 첨가하여 APTES에 의해 생성된 hydroxyl group과 TESPT의 ethoxy group 사이에 실란화 반응 정도에 따른 filler-rubber interaction 향상 정도를 연구하기 위하여 X-선 회절법을 이용한 silicates의 층간구조분석, 모폴로지(morphology), 적외선분광법, 팽윤도 및 기계적물성을 평가하였다. XRD분석과 TEM이미지로 관찰한 결과 silicates 층간에 APTES가 삽입된 구조를 형성하였고 고무기질 내에 organoclay의 분산이 잘 이루어졌다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 적외선 분광법을 이용하여 APTES-MMT를 분석한 결과 APTES에 의해 silicates 표면에 다량의 hydroxyl 그룹이 형성되어 TESPT의 ethoxy group과 실란화 반응이 가능하였다. SBR/APTES-MMT 컴파운드에 TESPT를 첨가시 SBR/APTES-MMT 컴파운드보다 300% 모듈러스가 약 1.3 배 정도 증가하였다. 이는 APTES의 hydroxyl group과 TESPT의 ethoxy group 사이에 실란화 반응이 이루어져 filler-rubber interaction이 향상된 결과였으며, 컴파운딩시 혼련온도 증가에 따른 모듈러스 향상 효과는 미미하였다. 결과적으로 SBR/APTES-MMT 컴파운드의 경우 고무 기질 내에 silicates의 분산 정도와 가교도 증가에 따라 모듈러스가 증가하였으며, SBR/APTES-MMT 컴파운드에 TESPT를 첨가시 filler-rubber interaction이 향상되어 모듈러스가 더욱 증가하였다. In this study, styrene butadiene rubber(SBR)/organoclay nanocomposites were manufactured using the latex method with 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane(APTES) as a modifier. The X-ray diffraction(XRD), transmission electron microscopy( TEM) images, Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectroscopy, swelling ratio and mechanical properties were measured in order to study the interaction between filler and rubber according to the mixing temperature in the internal mixer. In the case of SBR/APTES-MMT compounds, the dispersion of the silicates within the rubber matrix was enhanced, and thereby, the mechanical properties were improved. The characteristic bands of Si-O-C in APTES disappeared after hydrolysis reaction in the MMT-suspension solution and the peak of hydroxyl group was increased. Therefore the formation of chemical bonds between the hydroxyl group generated from APTES on the silicate surface and the ethoxy group of bis(triethoxysilylpropyl) tetrasulfide(TESPT) was possible. Consequently, the 300% modulus of SBR/APTES-MMT compounds was further improved in the case of using TESPT as a coupling agent. However, the silanization reaction between APTES and TESPT was not affected significantly according to the increase of mixing temperature in the internal mixer.

        1. 배합온도의 영향

        Characteristics of rubber mixture were evaluated in order to find the optimum mixing conditions of compounds containing silica and silane at various temperatures. With different mixing temperatures of 105, 120, 130, 140 and 160℃, the viscosity of the compound mixed at 105℃ showed a very high viscosity value. Compounds mixed the temperature range from at 120℃ to 140℃ showed lower viscosity than the compound mixed at 105℃. However, the difference was found to be small in those temperature ranges. On the contrary, at the mixing temperature of 160℃, the viscosity of compound increased again. Through the physical and dynamic observations, it was verified that at the mixing temperature below 120℃ only insufficient silica-silane reaction has been obtained. In addition, with the elevated mixing temperature of 160℃, Cross-linking occurred during mixing by the sulfur contained in coupling agent. In the temperature ranges from 120℃ to 140℃, because of the fast coupling reaction at higher temperature, it was thought to be more advantageous during reaction even though the trend of viscosity and dynamic mechanical property was not clear.
