대학의 글로벌 인재 양성 및 해외취업 활성화를 위한 교육프로그램의 현황 분석 연구

세계화와 글로벌 지식경제 사회로의 진행이 사회 각 분야로 점차 확대되고 있다. 고등교육기관의 국제화 추세도 이러한 측면으로 이해될 수 있다. 아울러 국내 노동시장과 청년실업의 한계를 극복하고자 고등교육 기관의 글로벌 인재양성을 위한 노력이 한층 강화되고 있는 추세이다. 본 연구의 목적은 국내 고등교육기관들이 현재 진행하고 있는 글로벌 인재양성을 위한 교육 프로그램을 비판적으로 비교⋅분석 및 평가해 보고, 평가결과를 활용해 글로벌 인재의 효과적인 해외취업 활성화를 위한 교육프로그램 개발 및 지원 방안을 모색해 보는데 있다. 이를 위하여 글로벌 인재양성을 핵심 교육목표로 삼고있는 국내 여섯 대학을 선정하여 각 대학이 운영하고 있는 글로벌 인재양성을 위한 교육 프로그램 및지원 현황을 분석하였다. 이러한 분석을 바탕으로 본 연구 결과가 제시하는 바는 ‘해외 어느 곳이든자신이 원하고 또 자신을 원하는 곳이라면 일할 수 있는 언어적, 다문화적, 직업적 준비와 능력을 갖춘’ 글로벌 인재를 배출하기 위해서는 언어교육뿐만 아니라 해외적응을 위한 문화적 소양교육과 정서적 이해를 중심으로 한 글로벌 시민교육, 거점 중심의 해외취업 활성화, 해외취업 사후관리 체제 구축등을 중심으로 글로벌 역량 강화에 중점을 두어야 한다는 정책적 방향을 포함하고 있다. In our society, there is a fundamental movement for globalization and knowledge-based economy. Currently, the higher education in Korea is making lots of efforts to reform its educational system for this social movement, globalization. One of the efforts of them is focusing on improving and strengthening students' professional capabilities for global employment. The primary purpose of the study is to investigate educational programs and administrative services with which higher education institutions in Korea provide students in order to improve their students' global working capabilities, and to find out implications facilitating the global employment of Korean students. In order to conduct the analysis, this study selects 6 institutions across the country; three institutions located in Seoul and another three located in local areas. Based on the results of the analysis, this study suggests several policy implications including that global-education programs should provide educational contents that are encouraging students to improve their global citizenship as well as professional knowledge and skills. Also, higher education institutions need to develop localized centers that facilitate the global employment of their students and manage them for sustainable employment in various global villages.
