본 논문의 목적은 지역교회와 학생선교단체가 뿌리 깊은 갈등과 반목을 그치고 진정한 이해와 화합으로 서로를 인정하고 협력하여 유기적 관계성을 형성해 나갈 때 캠퍼스 복음화를 효과적으로 이룰 수 있음을 밝히는 것이다. 또한 무엇보다 이 문제의 근본적인 핵심은 교회론에 있으므로, 올바른 성경적 교회관을 회복함으로써 서로에 대한 오해와 편견을 벗어버리고 온전한 이해가 이루어질 때 진정한 연합으로 가는 토대를 마련할 수 있음을 논증하였다. 오늘날 대부분의 사람들이 그동안 학생선교단체가 한국교회에 미친 긍정적인 영향을 인정하고 필요성을 인식함으로써 지역교회와의 연합과 동역을 주장하고 있지만, 많은 경우 몸된 교회의 한 지체로서 선교단체를 인식하기보다는 교회는 지역교회가 전부이며 선교단체는 하나의 수단에 불과한 것으로서 교회에 종속시키려는 입장을 취하는 것을 볼 수 있다. 그러나 이것은 아직도 개혁되지 못한 개혁주의 교회론적 전통의 한계로서, 연합을 향한 노력에도 불구하고 아직도 산재되어 있는 지역교회와 선교단체 간의 갈등의 원인에 대한 근본적인 근거를 제공한다. 역사적으로 종교개혁자들이 선교를 상실하는 중대한 과오를 남겼고, "회중구조 전부 그리고 선교구조 무"라는 결론을 내림으로써 근 3세기동안 개신교 선교가 없었으며 일부 교파에 아직도 그 잔재를 남기고 있음을 볼 때, 이렇게 선교를 상실했던 개혁주의 교회론적 시각으로는 지역교회와 선교단체의 관계성을 논함에 있어 그 인식의 한계를 벗어나기 어렵다는 것을 알 수 있다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 먼저 교회와 선교단체에 대한 신학적 고찰을 통해, 교회와 선교단체의 본질적인 이해에 있어서 기존의 개혁주의 교회론적 입장에서 바라보던 시각에서 벗어나 보다 성경적인 교회관을 정립하고자 하였다. 그리고 신학적 고찰을 통하여 얻게 된 결론들을 역사적 고찰을 통해 검증해 보았다. 이러한 논거를 바탕으로 한국교회와 학생선교단체의 관계성 현황을 논의하고 대학선교 활성화를 위한 관계성 방향과 구체적인 대안을 제시하였다. 이제는 교회의 본질에 대한 뿌리깊은 오해를 벗어나 그리스도의 몸은 모든 개교회와 교단들의 총합보다 크다는 사실과, 지역교회와 함께 다른 선교구조와 연관되어 있는 모든 구성원이 교회를 구성한다고 하는 근본적인 진리를 회복시킬 필요가 있다. 교회의 구조에 절대적인 것은 없으며 절대적인 것은 오직 눈에 보이지 않는 우주적인 교회뿐이다. 이 교회의 구조에는 다양한 교파의 교단과 지역교회, 선교단체가 다 포함되어 있다. 구조적 교회는 머리되신 그리스도에게 연합되어 자라가는 하나의 몸을 이루는 것으로서 서로 유기적으로 연합해야 한다. 사역에 대해 서로 책임을 지며 관계 면에서 상호 독립성이 필요하다. 결론적으로 지역교회만이 신적인 기원을 가진 하나님의 교회이며 선교단체는 인간적인 수단에 불과하다는 지역교회 우위의 교회론적 시각이 바뀌지 않는다면 결코 양측간의 관계성에 있어서 온전한 연합을 기대하기는 어려울 것이다. 또한 하나님의 몸된 교회에 대한 지체의식과 섬김의 마음이 없이는 수단론적 접근방법을 벗어나기 어려우며 결국 자신의 몸을 세우는 자가 되고 말 것이다. 지역교회와 선교단체는 서로의 존재를 부정하고 비판하고 경쟁하는 관계가 아니라, 한 몸의 지체로서 서로의 부족함을 인식하고 채워줌으로서 자라가는 유기적 관계이다. 지역교회와 학생선교단체는 그리스도를 머리로 하는 하나님 나라의 공동체로서 모두 그리스도의 몸의 일부분을 구성한다. 몸이란 지체들의 유기적인 협력과 동역으로 세워지고 유지된다. 그러므로 지역교회와 학생선교단체는 서로간의 관계가 공생공조의 유기적 관계임을 분명히 인식하고 지체의식과 공동체성을 회복하는 것을 기본전제로 삼을 때, 비로소 온전한 연합과 동역을 통한 캠퍼스 복음화의 비전이 성취될 수 있을 것이다. This paper aims to reveal that campus evangelization will be achieved effectively when both parties, local church and student mission organization, which have confronted with ingrained conflict and antipathy for many years, establish the organic relationship based on mutual understanding and affection. Furthermore, the fundamental cores of this dispute lie in biblical ecclesiology. Accordingly, this paper verifies that both parties could reach an agreement on the genuine cooperation only when each side gets rid of the misunderstanding and prejudices with regard to another by means of restoring the biblical ecclesiology. In today, most people acknowledge the positive impact of the student mission organization on Korean church and maintain the joint and the cooperation with local church, but in many cases, some people, maintaining the local church is the whole, try to subordinate to church as a mere mean of it rather than a part of one body. However, this is the limitation of the traditional reformist that failed to reform itself, which is attributed to the causes of wide-spread conflict between local church and student mission organization despite the effort toward unity. Historically, the reformist ended in failure to underestimate the mission and concluded 'All Congrational Structure & No Mission Structure'. As a result of this, mission has been disappeared for the last three centuries and the trace of this tradition still remains among some churches. Within the point of view of the reformed ecclesiology which dismissed the mission, it does not seem to be relevant to the research on the correlation between the local church and student mission organization. Therefore, this paper will focus on theological research on church and parachurch(mission organization) firstly and put an effort on understanding fundamentally about church and parachurch not through the current reformed ecclesiology, but through biblical ecclesiology. These conclusions derived from theological research will be supported by empirical cases. On the basis of arguments mentioned above, the discussion on the present relationship between the local church and student mission organization and suggestion on the concrete measures to facilitate the student mission follow. We need to outgrow the rooted misunderstanding of the definition of the ecclesia and restore the basic truth that the body of Christ is bigger than the total of all the local churches and denominational conventions and the ecclesia consists of other parts connected with parachurch. The structure of the church is not necessarily absolute; the only absolute thing is the universal ecclesia. This includes various denominations, local churches and parachurches. The structural ecclesia should unite to form the one body to grow into Christ who is the Head. In terms of work, each part should take the responsibility and mutual exclusiveness is necessary with regard to relationship. In conclusion, It seems to be impossible to establish the complete unity unless ecclesiastical view arguing that the local church is the only one that owns the godly origin exclusively and parachurch is nothing but the humane means changes. Additionally, if they do not have membership of one body and serving mind, they will be failed in building the body of Christ. The relationship between local church and parachurch does not consist with the ignorance, denunciationand competition, but with complementarity, which enables to grow into one body. In short, it is an organic whole. The local church and student mission organization are the part of body of Christ, as the member of community of God. The body can be sustained through the systematic cooperation and joint between parts. The local church and student mission organization should realize the indispensability for each other and restore the unity. Consequently, the vision of evangelization will be achieved through a complete unity and cooperation.
