The flow regulators we widely use have some disadvantages. They have a constant flow within each regulator and an inaccuracy with extruding capillary. In this study, we have developed a new type of regulator which was made up of two different capillary tubes overlapped each other. The developed regulator can vary and control the amount of flow. The design parameters of the developed regulator are obtained by using theanalytical software. We have proved that the developed regulator can control flow properly through making a trial product and experiment.

Traction control suppresses the spinning of the driven wheel during drive away or acceleration on slippery road condition. In this study, the estimation method of brake pressure hardly measured is proposed. The estimation method of brake pressure and the brake pressure control with pulse width modulation(PWM) are verified a good performance through experiment. Also, the vehicle simulation on slippery road conditions is validated the applicability of brake pressure control for traction control. The simulation results have showed that the brake pressure can be used the control variable for traction control.

Some control algorithms for TCS are proposed through computer simulation. They are<br/> algorithm based on the slip threshold, algorithm based on the acceleration threshold and algorithm based on the slip and acceleration thresholds, and the operating time difference between the TCS valve and the ABS valve is also considered as a system parameter in these algorithms. Algorithm based on the slip and acceleration<br/> thresholds shows better response characteristics than algorithm based on the slip threshold or algorithm based on the acceleration threshold, only. In case of considering the operating time difference between the two valves, it is showed that the wheel velocity error becomes smaller and the drivability becomes better than those of not considering them. Finally. it is verified that the proposed algorithms of this research have similar response characteristics compared with the road test results of the actual vehicle.<br/>

We have development a prototype cryoprobe with microtube heat exchanger with was made up of two different mitrotubes overlapped each other. The design parameters of the developed cryoprobe were obtained by using the analytical method. We have proved that the developed cryoprobe can have the low target temperature through making a trial product and experiment.

This study describes the design and the measurement results of a piezoelectric micropump for a drug delivery system. The device is based on check valve of film type and piezoelectric actuator. This micropump and driving circuit has been designed for a low rate range(0~60ml/h) and we can prove it through making experiment.
