본 논문에서는 신경회로망을 이용하여 비선형의 복잡한 동적 시스템인 용해 공정 시스템을 제어하는 방법에 관하여 연구하였다. 용해로 운전 조절값과 용해 불량률을 입 · 출력으로 하여 다층퍼셉트론을 학습시킴으로써 비선형의 용해 공정 시스템을 모형화하였으며 현재의 용해 불량률이 허용 불량률보다 큰 값일 경우, 학습이 완료된 다층퍼셉트론을 이용하여 용해 불량률을 감소시키는 방향의 용해로 운전 조절값을 새롭게 산출하는 방법을 제안하였다. 새로운 용해로 운전 조절값의 산출은, 다층퍼셉트론을 단층퍼셉트론으로 변환하는 과정과 단층퍼셉트론의 학습 과정의 반복 수행에 의해 이루어진다. 비선형 모형의 부분 선형화를 적용하여 제한 범위내에서 다층퍼셉트론을 단층퍼셉트론으로 변환하였으며, 새로운 운전 조절 값을 산출하기 위한 단층퍼셉트론에서의 학습은 입력 패턴과 연결강도 벡터를 뒤바꾸어 수행되었다. 통계적 방법으로 제한 범위를 설정한 뒤, 위의 두 과정을 반복 수행시킴으로써 새로운 용해로 운전 조절값을 얻을 수 있었으며 산출된 용해로 운전 조절값에 대한 용해 불량률을 예측해 본 결과, 허용 불량률 이하의 값이 예측됨을 확인함으로써 제안된 제어 방법의 타당성을 검증하였다. The GFPS(Glass Furnace Process System) is the non-linear dynamic system. In this paper, the control method for GFPS using neural networks is proposed. We simulate GFPS with MLP(Multi-Layer Perceptron). The input of MLP is the set of the control values for the operation of GFPS and the output is the glass loss rate. With the proposed upper bound of the glass loss rate by the expert operators, we extract the control values through the approximation of a MLP by a SLP(Single-Layer Perceptron) and the training of SLP. MLP is translated into SLP by the linearlization of non-linear model. And the SLP that is trained to change the control values are tested whether the generated glass loss rate that is less than the proposed one. By the repetition of translating MLP into SLP and training SLP in the limit range, we could extract the proper control values of GFPS. We suggest a method to seek the proper control values that produce the glass loss rate smaller than that proposed by the expert operators of GFPS and prove the validity of the method through the experiments.
