Railways are very important to get stability of railway structure as transportation system carrying a lot of passengers and freight. These days the construction of underground railway crossing such as expansion of new roads, construction of subway and gas pipe is increasing because of economic and social development. But these kinds of construction didn"t take into account Cost-benefit analysis of railway which has the most important aspects of railway safety, so the results of construction didn"t get a good evaluation. This study adapt Cost-benefit analysis to evaluate the economic validity of underground railway crossing. This study adjust about Cost-benefit analysis of railway part, and analyze the new method and technology of underground railway crossing constructed by Korean National Railroad and Railway Network Authority. Also this study divide between high frequency line and low frequency lineusing B/C, NPV, and IRR analysis. After analysis, B/C ratio method is the most suitable method among B/C, NPV, and IRR analysis method. Therefore this study can express economic benefit quantitatively and decrease the cost by adapting Cost-benefit analysis, and can clearly express the construction feasibility and investment effects of construction of underground railway crossing method.
다양한 철도하중을 받는 지중 갤러리관의 손상 보강에 관한 연구

This study deals with the damage reinforcement of structures under the ground such as gallery pipes subjected to railway loads. Railway loads with various moving velocities make significant influences on the ground gallery pipes passing through under the railway. For real structures this study analyzes such effects in detail and establishes a method for the efficient damage reinforcement. Moreover we predict the hereafter structural behaviors of gallery pipes under the ground by several numerical simulation. The results of this study are expected to offer useful guidelines for explaining the complicated damage characteristics of the ground gallery pipe structures.

An engineer designing a tunnel an urban area should be able to predict the magitude and distribution of ground movements which ara important to investigate the potential damage to the existing structures around tunnel. The present examines available theories and emprical equations, and tries to investigate quantatively ground movements around tunnel with tunnel progressing. Approaches to the problem of ground movements associated with single tunnel was field study and elasto-plastic finite element method. Sector 2-10 in Pusan Subway and lines 3,4 in Seoul Subway were selected in field study, and typical section in Seoul Subway were selected in numerical study. The analysis and study was done with respect to surface, subsurface and crown settlements with varying ground conditions, tunnel geommetry and construction conditions.

A study is made on the behavior of consolidation in a clay stratum through which a continuous variation in the consolidation parameters is assumed. The governing equation is developed by using the Crank-Nicolson's finite difference method. The distribution of excess pore pressure obtain by this study is compared with those computed by the conventional Terzaghi Consolidation theory.

지반 공학에서 사용되는 변수들은 공간적으로 상당한 상관관계를 보이고 있다. 즉, 가까운 샘플은 멀리 떨어져 있는 샘플보다 더욱 유사한 경향을 보인다. 미지값과 주변 데이타 사이의 상관관계를 정의하기 위해서는 이들 값사이의 공간 상관관계 측정이 필요하다. 여러가지 알려진 공간 상관관계 측정중에서 배리오그램측정을 사용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 샘플된 변수나 과소표본된 면수들이 공간적 상관관계를 갖기 때문에 토질 추계학을 도입하였다. 최종적으로 누적밀도함수를 주는 비모수적 방법을 도입하여 최소의 비용으로 보다 정확한 미지 변수를 구하는 방법으로서 코크리깅 방법(cokriging method)을 연구의 배경으로 삼았으며, 추상적인 자료로서 정성적인 soft data보다는 비교적 정확히 측정되는 값을 즉, 정량적 자료를 이용하여 미지값을 정확히 추정해 내는 방법을 제시하였다.

Industrial and household waste are usually disposed of as sanitary landfills at remote areas of cities. Because of the rapid grouth of cities, previously remote areas has become important urban land. With some minimal treatment, this areas can be used to construct earth structures or recreational facilities such as highway, park, ground and golf course. This paper is to evaluate the effectiveness of consolidation preloading in conducting settlement in the sanitary landfills system. The finite element analysis with incremental linear elastic constitutive model is used to simulate the performance of the embankment-sanitary landfill system.
