Recently, Organic EL(Electro Luminescence)is interested in Flat Panel Display (FPD) department of new generation. This paper describes a image processing algorithm for the scratch detecting for ITO coated glass. We use the logical level thresholding method for binarization of gray-scaled glass image. This method is useful to the algorithm for detecting scratch of ITO coated glass automatically without need of any prior information of manual fine tuning of parameters.

When Automobile runs high velocity, it causes sleepy velocity profile then that generates lift force and drag force. Lift force reduce tire friction force. Drag force increase consumed power. For improve automobile performance, reduction of Lift force and Drag force was seriously considered. It measured experimently using wind tunnel, numerically using numerical analysis. Finite difference method is using difference equation and simplifed mesh. This method require less calculation time and computer power than other method.<br/>

<br/> <br/> Welding variables and condition in gas metal arc welding (GMAW) effect on the weld quality and productivity, extensive research efforts have been made to analyze the welding variables and conditions. In this study dynamic behavior of GMAW system is investigated using the chararcteristic equations of the power supply. wire and welding arc, Characteristic equation of wire is modified to include the effect of droplets attached at the electrode tip. The dynamic characteristics of arc length, current, voltage with respect to the step, ramp inputs of CTWD was simulated. From results of simulation, some predictions about dynamic characteristics of GMAW and welding process are available. The proposed simulator and results appear to be utilized to determine the proper welding conditions, to be improved by considering power supply dynamic characteristics.<br/>

The performance and efficiency of FPD(Flat Panel Display) is related with surface defect of ITO coated glass substrate. The typical surface defect of glass substrate is micro scaled scratch, non-uniformity and surface roughness. In this paper, we developed the algorithm for detect non-uniformity. It was proposed on the surface status inference system of the ITO coated glass substrate using working parameter analysis. These working parameters measured from the acquisition system of polishing machine was used as the input variables of the inference system. The algorithm of inference system for detecting non-uniformity was obtained the Neuro-Fuzzy learning algorithm. The developed algorithm is the TSK Fuzzy inference model. Neuro Fuzzy learning algorithm is used in obtaining the fuzzy membership function and rules.

In GMAW(Gas Metal Are Welding) processes, bead geometry (penetration, bead width and height) is a criterion to estimate welding quality, Bead geometry is affected by welding current, arc voltage and travel speed, shielding gas, CTWD (contact-tip to workpiece distance) and so on. In this paper, welding process variables were selected as welding current, arc voltage and travel speed. And bead geometry was reasoned from the chosen welding process variables using neuro-fuzzy algorithm. Neural networks was applied to design FLC(fuzzy logic control), The parameters of input membership functions and those of consequence functions in FLC were tuned through the method of learning by backpropagation algorithm, Bead geometry could he reasoned from welding current, arc voltage, travel speed on FLC using the results learned by neural networks. On the developed inference system of bead geometry using neuo-fuzzy algorithm, the inference error percent of bead width was within ±4%, that of bead height was within ±3%, and that of penetration was within ±8%, Neural net works came into effect to find the parameters of input membership functions and those of consequence in FLC. Therefore the inference system of welding quality expects to be developed through proposed algorithm.<br/>

Crane operation for transporting heavy loads causes swinging motion at the loads. This sway causes the suspension ropes to leave their grooves and leads to possibility of serious damages. Generally crane is operated by expert's knowledge. Therefore, a satisfactory control method to supress object sway during transport is indispensible. The dynamic behavior of the crane shows nonlinear characteristics. when the length of the rope is changed the crane is time varying system and the design of anti-sway controller is very difficult.<br/> In this paper, the nonlinear dynamic model for the industrial overhead crane is derived. and the feedback gain matrix based on the pole-placement method is proposed to supress the swing motion and control the position of the crane. The performance of the controller for the crane model is simulated on the personal computer.<br/> <br/>

In this paper, we developed the manufacturing process for frame of spectacles using titanium powder. The process consisted of power mixing, injection molding, debinding and sintering. Titanium is a light, strong, lustrous, corrosion-resistant material, but it is very expensive. The typical process for manufacturing titanium frame for glasses is machining process and make much wasted titanium. We proposed new manufacturing process using titanium powder and it reduce the loss of titanium material. To make the new manufacturing processes. we investigated parameters of each process and analyzed mechanical properties of this product.
