본 논문에서는 웨이브릿 변환을 이용한 효율적인 브라인드 워터마킹 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안한 알고리즘에서는 원영상을 1-단계 웨이브릿 변환영역으로 변환하여 고주파 부분에 워터마크를 삽입한다. 워터마크삽입은 웨이브릿 변환 영역 중 HL, LH, HH 밴드의 서로 대응되는 위치에 있는 웨이브릿 계수값을 삽입하고자 하는 워터마크의 값에 따라 교환함으로써 이루어 진다. 그리고 워터마크의 추출은 원영상이 없이도 웨이브릿 계수값 간의 관계에 의해 워터마크된 영상만으로 가능하다. 실험결과 워터마크가 삽입된 영상은 시각적으로 손상을 감지하기 어려울 정도로 우수한 화질을 가졌으며, 손실압축, 클리핑, 샤프닝 등의 공격에도 강인성을 보였다. In this paper, we proposed an efficient blind watermarking algorithm using wavelet transform. The proposed algorithm inserts watermark into the high frequency subbands that were transformed by 1-level wavelet transform of original image. Watermark insertion is achieved by exchanging each the corresponding coefficients in the HL, LH, HH subbands according to be inserted watermark value. And watermark is extracted by the relation of wavelet coefficients without original image. Experimental results demonstrate that watermarked image has a good quality not to be able to be perceptible and is robust various attacks such as JEPG lossy compression, clipping and sharpening.

이미지 인증과 변형 검출을 위한 DWT기반 다중워터마킹

본 논문에서는 디지털 영상의 인증과 변형 검출 및 저작권 보호를 가능하도록 다중워터마킹 기법이 제안되었다. 원영상을 DWT(Discrete Wavelet Transform) 변환한 후 이미지의 인증과 변형된 위치를 검출하기 위하여 저주파 부분인 LL밴드의 LSB(Least Significant Bit)에 암호화된 워터마크 정보를 삽입한다. 또 저작권 보호를 위하여 고주파부분의 웨이블릿 계수들의 교환을 통해 워터마크 정보를 삽입한다. 이렇게 함으로써 저주파부분의 LSB 값 추출을 통해 인증 및 그 변형 위치를 찾을 수 있었으며, 고주파부분에 삽입된 워터마크를 추출하여 원영상의 저작권 정보를 감지할 수 있었다. In this paper, the multi watermarking method to make it possible to the authentication, modification detection and copyright protection of the digital image was proposed. After the original image is transformed by the DWT(Discrete Wavelet Transform), the encrypted watermark information is embedded into the LSB(Least Significant Bit) of LL band on 1he low frequence domain for authenticating and detecting modified position in the image. And watermark information is embedded by exchanging the wavelet coefficient for the copyright protection. Thereby, we can authenticate the modification and detect the modified location by extracting the values of LSB on the low frequence domain. And we can perceive the copyright information of original image by extracting the embedded watermark on the high frequence domain.

본 논문에서는 이미지 인증 및 변형 검출을 목적으로 한 DWT(Discrete Wavelet Transform)기반 워터마킹 방법이 제안되었다. 제안된 알고리즘은 원 영상을 1-단계 웨이블릿 변환한 후 고주파 부분의 계수교환을 통해 워터마크를 삽입하고, 워터마크가 삽입되기 이전의 고주파 영역의 특성값들을 워터마크가 삽입된 영상의 LSB(Least Significant Bit)부분에 추가한다.<br/> 이에 따라 워터마크가 삽입된 영상의 LSB(Least Significant Bit)값들과 고주파 계수부분에 삽입된 워터마크 정보를 추출하여 이들의 변형유무에 따라 영상의 인증 및 변형위치를 검출 할 수 있다. In this paper, the DWT(Discrete Wavelet Transform) based watermarking method for authentication and detection of image modification was proposed. The proposed algorithm inserts watermark into high frequency domain after 1-level wavelet transform by exchanging wavelet coefficients and embeds the characteristic values of high frequency domain of original image into the LSB part of watermarked image.<br/> Therefore, By extracting LSB values and watermark in the high frequency domain from the watermarked image, we can authenticate the image and detect modified positions.
